The front staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping were friendly. The room on the other hand was old with the tub very decayed. There was dirt and dust under the beds. The floors in the room were not clean.

The hotel is convenient for downtown offices. Although the decor is somewhat dated (very beige), and the hotel is showing signs of age, it is comfortable and quiet. During my stay the toilet overflowed (this was rather disconcerting) but the maintenance person came quickly and solved the problem. I did note, however, that although he sopped up the water […] with towels, nobody from housekeeping actually came to wash the floor. Perhaps I should have asked; at any rate I made sure to wear shoes in the bathroom after that. Given the convenience of the location, and the reasonable rate, I would stay there again if my preferred Edmonton hotel is unavailable. Mehr

It was a great deal for the room but parking was a 23.00/day so the great deal turned into a basic hotel room. If you are penny pinching consider that before you book.

I arrived quite late to find a crowd of people milling near the entrance, smoking cigarettes. The lobby was under construction, and the self-park machine was broken - requiring valet (there is no parking downtown). Checked in, staff was friendly, but hotel didn't match the price. Room okay, but nothing special. Requested micro at booking, told when […] checked in that they forget, so to call if not there (it wasn't). Just a hassle. Checked out next day - would not stay for 2 weeks as scheduled. When car brought up, had disgusting stuff all over windshield (looked like someone had chewed tobacco and spit it all over). It wouldn't come off (partially frozen, I guess). I will never stay again - and so happy to get out of there when I did. Yes, its downtown - but I'd rather drive a bit further than deal with this. found it too be a great hotel,enjoy the pool and hot tub -top floor,very friendy front desk staff. shopping,tourest spots,etc were all close by. for me ,love going up and through strathcona ,it always a must see.

Really enjoyed the Van Houtte coffee in makeshift breakfast room in the morning. Would have liked it even better if they'd made it available all day! I have to admit that the hotel is conveniently located in the downtown core - but as far as getting a good night's sleep, unfortunately, the beds are just not that comfortable.

I was told that the parking is full and I had to park two blocks away and walk about 15 min in cold wind. besides for the breakfast my order last 30 min and they made me mad and ruin my day. my room was in 3rd floor and I asked for upper levels and they told me all rooms are full. I dont recommend this hotel to anyone.

this is an older hotel that needs some work.

Very charming in its day. Needs to be updated in the common areas. Rooms are comfortable. Beds are great, curtains old, remotes need to be changed. Concierge was friendly but not always there when I called. great location downtown.

Location is great (easy access to city center mall, restaurants, downtown venues), but despite it being a nice room, it was not comfortable. The room itself could be abit cleaner. There was an old, dirty smell that we finally discovered came from the pillows! The linens were clean, but the pillows reeked of not ever being washed - not very sanitary […] - Yuck! Got different pillows that were not great, but somewhat better. Because of this, we will not stay here again. Too bad, because the staff we met were awesome. Mehr

convenience, nice and clean

Bedding was very uncomfortable - the one piece above the sheet was very heavy and not very flexible. I didn't sleep at all. The scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages were luke warm. This isn't to my liking.

THe hotel was very clean, staff was superb, however the bed was another story. It was lumpy and squeeks. Do not stay in 2511!

Thought the service would have been better. Bed comfort not too great.

The room was clean and quiet. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. It was a disappointment to find the secure parking was so expensive. If I taken the time to check into how much the parking cost before I booked the room, I would have stayed at a hotel a little out of the city center and saved myself some money. We had the deluxe room and the beds were super comfy and the room was very clean. Very enjoyable stay. Only complaint was one elevator was out of order so it was always a very long wait for the others.

The hotel was very nice but the once you stepped out the doors it was quite scary for a young mother. Drunken, disorderly people everywhere you looked and we checked in at 8 PM.

I have stayed before at the Delta but thought I would give this on a try and I think I will go back to the Delta. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable but everything is really old in this place, it looks outdated. One advantage in terms of moderness they have over the Delta though is the flat screen TV with HD. The service was acceptable, […] nothing exceptional but just your run of the mill hotel staff doing their job but no wow factor. The parking was really expensieve $23 even on the weekend, I think that is outrageous on the weekend. It was quite annoying to learn they don't really have a fitness centre but you have to pay to use one across the street. Somehow I got the impression fron website pictures they had one. Anyways, I think I will go back to Delta or try some other hotel on a next visit but wont return to this hotel. Mehr

Very convenient for LRT to Rexall Place. Comfortable, great beds. Really good shower. A little noisy from midnight - 2 am due to people visiting across the hall. Have never noticed this on previous stays, perhaps the walls are too thin or just noise coming under the door. Cheap meals with good menu at Bacaarat Casino nearby.

The hotel was great the only real problem was that only 1 elevator worked for a time. This made for very long waits since we were on the 25th floor. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel.

Wasn't as nice as I would have hoped for the price. The room did not smell good either...

the hotel is very old, and it even not comparable to Super 8 or Travel lodge. The facility is old, and bath tub sucks. Everything in Edmonton is very old. There is no air conditioning either

Me and my husband were looking forward to a nice romantic weekend. We arrived a little late, and the following morning we woke up at 4 am to a DOG barking in the next room....and once it got started the one across the hall decided to give it's 2cents as well. So needless to say my 4 hours of sleep and waking up to that made me a little grouchy. I went […] downstairs and asked to be moved to another room as we were staying 1 more night and so were the doggy families. Needless to say without question, they found us a room a few flights down that let us enjoy our sleep till all hours of the morning! Great customer service The decor in the rooms were very dated, and pillows weren't so great. Shower (was unfortunately) only big enough for 1 person.....under 5 ft and the curtin stuck to your body while you showered. The blankets were thin and tv's were OLD. Overall we'd rate this hotel as a 3.5star. Mehr

the sutton was a great place to stay, it was clean frlenly accomodating, u have all the ammenities u need right from the hotel. elevator "scared us a couple times". and left my window open one night and at 730 am hotel staff banged on door (then tried to come in with master key) to shut the open window. other than the inconvience of the last morning […] it was a great hotel to stay at . Had a good one night stay with a girlfriend and my dog. Hotel was clean, very nice reception people and they even had a salsa party that Sat night! good times! location is good, just a block from Jasper ave and all the fun stuff. would stay there again!

I've been to this hotel numerous times. Would reccomend everyone to stay here. All the staff there were very pleasent and helpful. Valet service was an A ++.

Hotel is Great, decor is slightly dated.
