El Cozumeleno Beach Resort All Inclusive - Cozumel

Nice clean hotel with lots of activites going on. Food was good, except for maybe the buffet dinners. But then you have the option to eat at the ala carte restaurant if you make your booking in time.

Right on the beach, with two pools, the El Cozumeleno is a solid 3 star resort. It's not a 4. It's a 3 but fulfills its function as a place to hang for a week and take in the sun. The food is good (and the Mexican food is great), the bar in the lobby is also good (they have premium liquor but you have to ask for it) and the beach is clean. You can snorkel […] right at the property and it's easy to arrange all kinds of tours both on land and sea. This is not the most luxurious place going. If you want some zen type resort experience, don't go. If you want good value, Mexican sun, proximity to the town (10 minutes by cab), charm, decent food... yes. Don't stress hotel is good and cozumel is awesome. Make sure to rent a car and drive east side of island.

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff is wonderful and responsive. Our room was clean, but could have used some maintenance. We had very little water pressure, which made showering challenging. We stayed here for a family wedding. The hotel management was was a nightmare for the bride's mother to deal with. They made promises that they had no intention […] of keeping. She was constantly fighting with them. The buffet food was mediocre, but there are some other choices. You can only get an internet connection in the lobby and even that is not dependable. And the lobby is really hot - I didn't want to have to spend much time there.This was my first trip to Cozumel, so I have no way to compare to other hotels. Mehr

Bed was a little hard.

We recently got married at the El Cozumeleno hotel. The wedding was exactly what we ordered, and everything was as simple, yet elegant and gorgeous, as the website pictures suggested. The wedding coordinator was efficient and organized, and was very prompt with all of our email correspondence. The service at this hotel was great...from the front desk, to the wait staff outside by the pool(s), inside the beachfront restaurant, and at the fine dining restaurant. People were friendly and truly happy for us upon getting married. This is a great hotel for families, lots of special events, dinners, and lots of activities for the kids. We also loved the convenience of ordering a jeep and motor scooter right there on-site, arranging a snorkeling tour through their dive shop, etc. We hada great time, and loved the hotel. Do NOT go to El Coz if you are a foodie. The food is horrendous. However, the hotel and grounds are well-maintained and spotless. The staff are helpful and everything else was great. We ate at least one meal a day in town, which is an 80 peso cab ride away. We really liked Otates, and La Choza (amazing mango margs). Booked a 7-night stay at 40% off the regular rate. Was attributed a 2 double beds ocean view room instead of a garden view king bedroom. Rooms are oversized, close to 400 sq ft. Hotel complex is huge. Lots of swimming pools and bars. A la carte restaurant requires a reservation and food is not worth the 8 AM line-up for reservation although the restaurant […] is nice. Room service is free and you can also order food from a menu at lunch. Staff is incredible, always smiling, not only when given tips. A cab ride to downtown is 80 pesos, 140 pesos for the airport (even if closer). Access to the beach is limited and the beach itself is underpar. Walking to the north of the island or driving to the other side (unspoiled beaches) might be a good idea. Hotel is not new but is very well maintained. Mini golf is free and will provide amusement to the whole family. You have to wake up early to reserve your long chair on the beach, a concept which I don't like. Animation around pool is lame and pointless (who wants to play bingo in the middle of the afternoon?). It is bar open but access to top shelf liquor is random. Nice rooms, spacious with plenty of room for 2 people. all inclusive, drinks were amazing. food was a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. food was good, buffet food. Our room was a georgeous room with a view of the ocean and the pools

Nos alojamos en este hotel dos días para conocer Cozumel que nos pareció una maravillosa isla, el hotel es sencillo buena comida con no tanta variedad, muy bueno el restaurante a la carta y mi hijo disfruto mucho de hacer snorkel en la playa y de un minigolf que posee el hotel en general buen hotel.

LO MALO: LOS APARATOS DEL GIMNASIO EN MUY MALAS CONDICIONES, INVIERTANLE ALGO DE RECURSOS. LO BUENO: EL PERSONAL CON UN TRATO EXELENTE Y CALIDO, BUENA CARA Y UNA SONRISA, LOGRAN QUE LA PASEMOS MUY BIEN, FELICIDADES A TODOS LOS QUE TRABAJAN EN EL HOTEL.

pasamos 10 dias ,cada uno encontro lo que buscaba mis hijas de 9 años no pararon en todo el dia , el golfito, la pintura de ceramica, los tragos sin alcohol, el snorkel y otras actividades de animacion no le dieron descanzo, la gente de animacion divina ,despues de una tormenta la playa estuvo casi todos los dias llena de algas pero los empleados no […] parabna de trabajar para limpiarla. La isla no tiene mucho encanto playas muy chicas con piedras . Caribe caribe el ultimo dia solo. Es para no salir del hotel a menos que quieras buzear. No hay mucho para ver afuera despues del ultimo huracan hay muchos hoteles abandonados. La comida aceptable para un all inclusive . las habitaciones comodas, a veces el agua no muy caliente.VAle la pena conocerlo, ojala mejoren las playas. el hotel hace todo lo que puede para luchar contra la naturaleza, a veces lo logra y otras no.
