Embassy Suites Hotel Palm Desert - Palm Desert

Nach unserer Wüstentour haben wir das Hotel genossen. Zimmer, Pool und alle Einrichtungen sind gepflegt, und das Frühstück war deutlich besser als ein normales kontinentales. Es gibt in unmittelbarer Nähe gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ausreichend viele Restaurants.

The embassy Suites was a very pleasant surprise. It was very charming, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The pool was very nice, the rooms were great and their breakfast was excellent.

Eveyone who served the guest, from the front desk to the food servies, were so kind and helpful. The grounds were very nice, as was the pool.

I enjoyed my stay at the Embassy Suites. The location is great as there is an Albertsons and a Starbucks right next to it, as well as numerous restaurants. Despite not having free Wi-Fi, the hotel has reasonable rates and makes up for it with a two hour free cocktail promotion and a huge complimentary breakfast buffet.

All is well. Exception Dogs! Dogs don't belong here. Were in pool area. Barking on next door. Otherwise fine!

Nice as far as Embassy Suites go. But balcony is not usable. It's extremely small & made of wrought iron, meant to be decorative. If you have 2nd or 3rd floor room like we did, you can sleep with slider to this balcony open. (It opens onto a parking area.) Breakfast is great. Was perfect for what we needed. Clean and very quiet. We had a room by the stairs and never heard a sound all night. Also the breakfast to order the next morning was awesome and extremely convenient. Love that it was part of the service!

For the money it wasn't worth it. Old and not up to date. I did like the bed.

This hotel is just what you see !!! It was really nice place to stay, very friendly ! Breakfast was yummy ... Would recommend hotel to my friends ....

As in 2011 we found the hotel to be a great place for a short get-away. We like the excellent breakfasts and the free happy your. Again we met some interesting people ... this time a family from Wales. Last year we met Piet from The Netherlands. Piet wrote us that he will be back there in May.

I have stayed happily at many an Embassy Suites but this was not up to standard. The staff was lovely and helpful, but the accomodations were old and broken down. The carpet and furniture needs to be replaced although the bed was nice. The hotel description tells of a balcony. Oh, it's there but it's about 1'x3', made of worn down rusted metal I wouldn't […] let my worst enemy stand on. Neither would the hotel because the sliding glass door is permanently locked allowing for no open windows. Not the way I wanted to enjoy beautiful Palm Desert. Mehr

Good location for business, Comfortable but really a huge retired community I was the youngest person by a 40year gap, pool looked clean, room had a old people smell but the breakfast was great and the bed was comfortable and free internet & parking... So over all it was ok I would consider it but def try some other hotels for my next trip

We loved our stay. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfast was great. AAA+++

We really enjoyed ourselves. We were there for a quick overnight stay as we were attending a conference in town. I was so happy you had an elevator for the simple reason when your carrying a lot of stuff it sure makes it easier. If were ever back in the area we would like to stay at Embassy Suites again. a comfortable hotel run by nice people who easily accomodated our requests

I was so disappointed in this hotel. The 18-hole putting green they boasted about was not maintained so we couldn't use it. Our toilet was shakey, we could hear every step in the room above us, House keeping forgot about our request for more coffee to be brought to the room and every pipe in our room made noise when we used the water. Not what I'm used to for an Embassy Suites....Its obviously an older version. Staff were great, but the bathroom was cramped and the tub was in need of an upgrade/repair. Was good for the price. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

This is the best location and lots of tennis courts for free. My son really enjoyed staying and practicing tennis match.

When we arrived we were placed in a room on the first floor next to the elevator. The hotel wasn't near full and they could have placed us closer to the pool area and a quieter room. Any time we ran the heat the return air duct was extremely loud. We asked for extra towels on 2 occasions with the front desk and they never brough them. The room was clean […] and we love the extra space that Embassy Suites provides to family's. The property is clean and pretty. The breakfast was very good! Mehr

This hotel is okay. We only stayed one night, so it was fine for that, but it seemed tired. The rooms were clean and the staff pleasant, so it was fine for the night.

service was good and staff was friendly. but room small.entire hotel outdated. have stayed at many Embassy Suites but this was the worse. did enjoy complimentary breakfast and open bar at happy hour.

We had never been to the Palm Springs area and did not have a clue where to stay, but basically went by reviews we read which were very favorable for Embassy Suites. We were very glad we decided on this hotel. Desert Palm is a nice location. Embassy is surrounded by restaurants and shopping. El Paseo Street is especially nice, don't miss it. Starbucks […] and Albertsons are right next door to the hotel. Nice and clean pool and hot tub area. FREE made to order breakfast and snacks in the evening. It was a very good value. This hotel is just gross. The room we were given smelled like someone died in there. They moved us to another room, it wasnt much better. Dark, dingy,musty and stinky! The sliding glass door only opened 2 inches so we couldnt escape the funk inside of there.. The fire alarm went off in the morning. Only good thing.... free cocktails and breakfast. Need to improve logistic level for brekfirst and towels at the pool

When I booked room was not told about $50 charge for my pug. An unexpected surprise I did not appreciate. Hotel was great, booking with Hotels.com was problem.

The room was standard size, though the bathroom was cramped. The were only 3 chairs for the kitchen table whic left our party short 2 chairs. The creamers had expired a month previous and the bathtub had soap film from previous guests. The sofa bed was not "sleepable" . The free breakfast was low quality but you get what you for. The tables were dirty […] and no staff around to bus them clean. There wasn't silverware for the guests and we had to wait by the dishwash area to ask for clean spoons or forks. I assume the staff was overwhemed and short handed over the holiday weekend but that is still no excuse for the hospitality domain. The staff was ok, grounds were clean and parking was ample. Forgot to mention, the staff would only supply 3 towels at a time eventhough we were a party of five. I paid an extra person charge for each night which should include linens. Mehr

The property was older and appeared run down. The bathroom tile had mildew and we were issued only 3 towels when 4 guests registered for the room. It was very inconvenient to have part of the breakfast buffet in one room and then go outside to another room for the hot food. Very disappointed in the hotel and will not stay there again.

We had issue with our door key. We had to move to three different rooms. David , the Manager at Palm Desert was very professional and very helpful in accomodating our stay.

I called to make sure we get a room with a roll in shower. They said no problem. So when we got there the room had a person there who extended the days. We who had a reservation had to get a room with a bathtub. My wheeled chaired husband can't use the tub. So no shower......... So my question is.... Why have reservations? To much furniture in room. […] Hard to get around. Mehr

Excellent made to order frshly cooked breakfast. Clean, spacious, friendly staff.

The Hotel was just ok. We did have some problem with being charged for 3 rooms when we only booked 2, but that was straightened out. The air condidioning was not the greatest, but the bed was hard as a rock ans very uncumfortable. The pillows were all air and went totally flat when our heads hit them. the bathroom was so small we couldn't even turn […] around in it. The room was dark and the decor could use an upgrade, but the most annoying part was the TV in the bedroom part of the suite. It was almost impossilbe to turn it on and off with the remote and to change chammels and change volume. We even tried the rimote from the TV in the other part of the suite, but still, it was almost impossible. It was frustrating and a real bummer. The decor was dark and depressing and needs an upgrade. Stayed 2 nights in Palm Desert. Had some time to relax, so enjoyed the outdoor space, many tables and chairs. Used the hot tub twice, very nice, easily accesable from room. Hot breakfast kind of frenetic...in a good way, cooked to order, had to serve a lot of hungry people. Room very comfortable, loved the extra room and TV. During our morning breakfast buffet experience, a cockroach came to visit us at our table! We left immediately (because, as you know, where there is one cockroach, there are many!). I reported it to the front desk and they were totally indifferent completely downplaying the matter. When we checked in late on Thursday very late evening after a very long […] drive from San Diego, we had to return to the front desk three times because they did not activate our keys properly. Again, the front desk clerk was indifferent and couldn't seem to care less and the security person was rude to us. When we asked for simple direction to a nearby location, the front desk person gave us incorrect ones (she didn't really bother to listen to our request or properly look up the location) There was also a lot of noise from the people staying in the room on the next floor over us - constant banging and pounding for over an hour. Overall, the experience was dismal and we will not return of recommend this hotel to anyone. Mehr

Wonderful little gem. The made-to-order breakfast was amazing.

OUR SECOND TIME STAYING HERE. BROUGHT SEVERAL FAMILY MEMBERS AGAIN. (5 ROOMS) NICE ROOMS, GREAT FREE BREAKFAST!! NICE STAFF.

Reasonably priced for what you get. Great breakfast!
