Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Komfortable großzügige Zimmer, unseres mit komplett eingerichteter Küche. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit Obst, Joghurt, Müsli etc. Minishop und ebenfalls ein kleiner Starbucks sind auch im Hotel vorhanden. Die Lage ist der einzige Minuspunkt für uns gewesen, da sehr weit vom Innenstadtbereich entfernt (zu Fuß ca. 25 Minuten). Ebenfalls direkt an der Interstate gelegen, somit 24 Stunden die Autos zu hören.

Die Klimaanlage in dem Zimmer musste den ganzen heizen, damit es abends nicht zu kalt wird. Das Bad wurde gar nicht von der Wärme gar nicht betroffen und war entsprechend frisch.

Hotel Max liegt in Seattle in der Nähe von Westlake Center, Pike Place Market und Washington State Convention & Trade Center. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Space Needle und Columbia Center.
Ausstattung
Dieses Hotel in Seattle verfügt über folgende gastronomische Angebote: Restaurant und Bar/Lounge. Ein W-LAN-Internetzugang steht gegen Gebühr in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Die Innenstadt von Seattle erstreckt sich entlang des Puget Sound vom historischen Pioneer Square im Süden bis zum schicken Belltown im Norden. Dazwischen reihen sich Bürogebäude, Einkaufsgalerien und Apartments in Backsteinhäusern an den grünen Boulevards aneinander. Hier befinden sich das Kongresszentrum und Pike Place Market, wo Lachse fliegen können. Gäste sollten auch unbedingt die futuristische öffentliche Hauptbibliothek besuchen. Die Zwillingsstadien Seattles und der International District liegen südlich von der Innenstadt.

"fancy decor- great location"
We expierienced the Hotel Max as a stylish decorated Hotel. All downtown facilities such as shopping, dining are easy accesible and just around the corner.
"Zu teuer"
Sehr kleine Zimmer und Waschzellen. Zimmer sind ok - Komfort leidet deutlich unter der Lärmbelästigung. Zimmer nach hinten nicht zu empfehlen, sehr laut, da sich auf der Parkgarage die Klimaanlage befindet und die macht Lärm. Zur Straße nur wenig besser, da dort die zwischen 5 und 23 Uhr viel Verkehr ist. Zu teuer für die angebotene Leistung.

Gute Lage, sehr guter Service und moderne Einrichtung. Zimmer ein wenig zu klein mit zwei großen Koffern fehlten die Abstellmöglichkeiten.

The only comment I have is that the next time I stay at Hotel Maxx, I will request a guest room with a larger bathroom (and smaller sleeping area) and also sitting chairs that are more comfortable. The chairs in our room were more like desk chairs rather than chairs meant for relaxation. The beds were very comfortable and we both slept very soundly. […] Love the pillow menu. Mehr
"Great Value, Excellent Location!"
Obviously a very small room, but loved the location and service. Great feel to the place. Would definitely stay again.
We took our car to be serviced at Seattle mini and their shuttle dropped us off at Hotel Max on Tuesday and picked us up on Thursday. Red Fin restaurant next door was a great new find! We were able to walk to the Art Museum, Pike's market and the library from our hotel.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Only downfall was size of room and bathroom. Bathroom was small and made it somewhat difficult when trying to get ready and having to share the same space with someone else who was also trying to get ready
Bamba was a jewel. Great personality and treated us like queens!

Fantastic! The staff was accommodating and very knowledgable. The room was very tasteful and comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Max again!

"Location trumps size"
The room was small, the elevator smaller, noisy room because of a poor fitting door and pricey parking. However, you can walk to everything which makes everything else tolerable.

A weekend getaway. Great location. Excellent service. Small, European style rooms, but sufficient (not 'super-sized). Uncomfortable saggy mattress in #704.

"Hip Hotel!"
The Hotel Max was a very "Hip Hotel"...the decor and the customer service was awesome! I only wish I had been able to stay another nite! The only problem we had was the noise from another guest! However, the staff handled the situation immediately! Overall, a great place to stay...will book through them again!

it's a nice hotel, my only complaint is that the rooms and elevators are kind of small. two friends and myself took up a lot of space in the elevator (and we're height/weight proportionate). you could barely move in the bathroom, pretty much just turn around. but overall, it was a good place and had a pretty good view from the rooms. it was worth it's […] price. Good location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Valet needs to be better organised - was never there! rooms and lift was tiny - the latter meaning we had to wait a while for a lift that was free.

"Hotel Max"
Fun and stylish "rock and roll" hotel in downtown Seattle. Two blocks from Nordies and short walk to the Market. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only complaint is the weird bathroom fixtures, a small metal sink with no counter space. It may be sylish, but not practical. Very loud air/heat system too.
"Great location, with a few issues..."
First the good: Beautifully located hotel - one can walk all over downtown. Aveda product in the bathrooms. Cute rooms. VERY comfortable pillows. NO Gideon bible - an option for multiple religious texts to be brought to the room if needed. Helpful and informative staff at the front desk. Windows that open, at least a little bit! Now, the bad: I ordered […] room service once. After an hour, I called the restaurant. They seemed surprised it hadn't arrived. When I said I had to leave in 5 minutes, it showed up about 4 minutes 30 seconds later. Cold. Clearly someone had forgotten it. I paid for it because I didn't know it was cold. Wasn't worth the argument. Walls. Thin as paper. Didn't think Seattle would be such a spring break location and, as I was there on business, the drunk giggling girls in the room next to mine put quite the crimp in my sleep. The closet was very deep with no light. In order to see what was in it, I had to open the bathroom door and turn on the light so it shone into the closet. Drawers. There are two tiny, tiny, almost lingerie drawers next to the refrigerator. If you live out of your suitcase rather than unpacking, this won't bother you. Shower. I got the basic room, so this might be different in fancier rooms but - the shower was a tiny cube. The bathroom was cramped and tiny - European! As with every hotel with a "water saver" program, housekeeping doesn't seem to pay any attention to where you leave the towels and whether or not you want them washed. Despite hanging them, they were removed every time. Though I called in advance, valet service seemed completely confused when I came downstairs, every time. This hotel came highly recommended (by a dude who probably didn't notice drawer size or the tiny shower), but I probably won't stay here again. :( Mehr

Original art everywhere, it's not your regular hotel room and really worth it. The Art of a Great Hotel Room. From our 10th floor corner room we had a good view of the federal courthouse plaza down below (which […] is quite nice from the aerial view), and privacy from the windows of skyscraper apartments & buildings at that intersection. Cabs stop here regularly for convenience, and it's a block away from the trolley line. Seemed to be lots of good places to eat within a few blocks, good recommendations from the desk. Not far from Seattle Art Museum, Amtrak Station, Pike's & the waterfront, the ferries. Cabs are cheap and pentiful, easy to get around. Loved it, would definately stay here again. Mehr

I typically long for my own bed but when I got home I was pining for the bed at Hotel Max and their pillow menu! Best night sleep I've ever had on a vacation! I look forward to my next stay and snuggling in that fantastic bed!!
The staff was SO sweet and helpful. I have never felt so welcomed at a hotel. They were amazing!
"Artsy boutique hotel in downtown Seattle"
Hotel Max was easy to find and near to all the places we wanted to visit in Seattle. The modern decor and hip art were a nice change from the bland neutral of most hotels. The staff was helpful, the room clean and well appointed despite being rather small. My daughter loved the Aveda bathroom products. The street outside was a bit busy to feel comfortable […] for arrival by car. We blocked the bus lane without realizing it until later. Valet service was available but we thought it pricy until we compared it with other garages. Mehr

"Hotel Max - Small Rooms, Great Service"
Spent three nights at the Hotel Max in a room that would make most Manhattan hotel rooms look large, with a 2x2 shower. But the room was clean, well laid out and the bed was totally yummy. Moreover, service was helpful and friendly, and the price (including wifi) was right. Perfect for one or two adults, not geared to families with kids.

We had a great experience!! The staff was super accomodating, the hotel has a great modern, artistic vibe and is close to everything you would want to see in downtown! We walked everywhere, including out to dinner. We had an 8 month infant with us as well and there were no problems. "room 909 the worst room in any hotel"
The room as extremely small. The bathroom situation was like being on an airplane. The window air conditioner-heating unit was very loud. to the point where you could not sleep with it on. The room should have been a closet, for which it was best suited for.

The hotel was fairly central to everything downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. I recommend getting a GPS for your car since you can get in/out privileges for your car. I originally thought parking was included in my hotelsdotcom package but when i arrived they said that parking would be $30/ night which they worked it down to $15/ night.

There was a in-window ac/heater in this tiny closet of a room. That was a massive turn off for me. the room was about 50 degrees when I walked in and the only way to stay warm was to have this unit running all the time. The unit was a cheapo operation that had no temperature gauge so it would keep running until you manually shut it off. Pathetic for […] the price I paid. Mehr

"Too much fuss"
We prefer to take care of ourselves. From the moment we stepped into the hotel lobby, we were pestered with porters fishing for tips. Just wanted to scream, "Leave me alone!" I can park my own car and carry my bag to the elevator. Grrrr!
I apologize if we gave you the impression that the assistance we offered during your visit to the Hotel Max was motivated by earning tips only I can promise you that is not our mission with our guests. Offering valet and luggage servcie is what we do and many times guest communicate to us that they do not require assistance which is of course common. That stated any other time we will always offer to assist and ask "may I assist you with anything else". I hope you will return and give us a chance to win you over at the Hotel Max. Regards,

"Hotel Max - Great location but not my first choice"
I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Max. It had the classic elements of a New York City hotel: creative, small and a high room rate. The room was clean and staff were pleasant. I would prefer they cut spending on the overdone art motif in exchange for larger rooms. The location is key to Hotel Max's appeal. The Japanese restaurant downstairs is also worth a […] visit. If you are looking for more space and a better frequent traveler rewards program, I recommend the nearby Westin, Hyatt, Hilton or W. Mehr

"Cute and convenient."
We stayed the weekend for our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a bottle of wine to celebrate. We found the day staff a lot nicer and more helpful than the night staff. It was really difficult to get help finding somewhere to eat for a later dinner. We were also not very happy at the $30 valet charge, which we had been told was free. The Service and the atmosphere was excellent. Our room had a great view of the Space Needle and we were able to access all of the Downtown area with just a short walk. My only complaint is that our room was soo small. Wasn't a huge deal because we were usually out, but it would have been nice to have some more space.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Hotel Max. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Red Fin Japanese Restaurant was very good too. Easy walk to Pikes St. Market.
