3 Palms Napa Valley Hotel & Suites - Napa

We booked a Jacuzzi sweet. They put us into a rm. with no jacuzzi which was a nice room, but no jacuzzi. The manager moved us into a jacuzzi room but it was a small room (not a suite) with only a double bed. The jacuzzi didn't work. They couldn't fix it and the only chair in the room had a cigarette burns and smelled like smoke. It was noisy being next […] to the elevator and housekeeping rm. The maids were noisy, so the comfort level was bad. There is limited parking inside the hotel area and most spaces would not accommodate our standard pick-up. Location was a key point and you can walk anywhere downtown from there. Night manager was extremly competent and tried his best to accommodate our needs and wishes Mehr

We had a great time and the Hotel is located in a great place. Would have been nice to have a hot tub and the hotel to be more of a resort atmosphere

Cheerful and helpful at check in. Room clean and more comfortable than expected for a refurbished travel lodge. The improvements are obvious and most appreciated. Lots of hot water with good water pressure. Can't beat the location. They seem to care about your comfort and impression of there and Napa as well. Will book there again on next trip.

Super location and not least a fantastic and energetic Gery as our host!

Burned out bulb in the bathroom. Outdated (RCA) TV that refused to come on and then only for two channels and switched to the radio when other channels were selected. Room 215. Get a flat screen from COSTCO!!

They list rooms with Jacuzzi for same price as standard hotel, and once you arrive they say the room have been occupied by another guest and transfer you to standard room. if you have booked the room there just due to the jacuzzi you are done, after you complain a lot they request you to pay extra to get the same jacuzzi room you had original booked... […] terrible customer service.. We spent the night here to see a concert on a Saturday & Sunday night at the Uptown theatre. Great location and within walking distance to the theatre. The roadies and band members from both bands stayed here as well, as it's sooo close! My only warning is that because of the U-shape of the motel/courtyard and the age of the building(thinner walls/windows), […] anybody talking or walking outside of the room. echos thru the entire area. We stayed St. Patty's day weekend and there were drunken smokers outside til 3 AM talking and partying. It didn't bother me because I was up late myself, but maybe someone with kids or goes to bed @ 8pm would have hated it! Mehr

very unsatisfied with the entire experience. the booking agent made several errors in the reservation, the telephone in room did not work, informed front desk what would we do in the event of emergency yet they gave no options. TV did not work properly, bathroom door did not close/lock properly, in room coffee maker did not work.

Great value when compared to other places to stay in the downtown area. We went to a concert at the Uptown Theatre and it was only a two block walk back to our room.

The room was clean and the bed as comfy, the guy at the desk is a crack up!! Overall good. hen if you eat at the Market you get a discount for staying there!!

Great location, but the parking lot is pathetic. The walls are very thin, but the room was comfortable and fashionably decorated and furnished. The coffee pot didn't work properly, and I kept hoping the maid would take care of it because there was an obvious mess every day, but that was not the case. Napa Valley Inn is great for proximity to downtown Napa. However, the room was mediocre at best, the cable tv had no espn or other common cable channels and the tv itself was at least 15 years old. Very limited parking.

It's right in the center of downtown Napa, so the hotel is super convenient if you plan on drinking and don't want to rely on the one cab in all of Napa Valley to get you home. The room itself had many parts that were recently renovated, but underneath it all, it's still just an old travelodge. The jacuzzi is a normal sized tub with a couple of jets, […] really not all that spectacular. Some of the furniture hadn't yet been updated (our room had a busted chair) and there isn't parking within the property for every room (though there is some street parking around the block). Mehr

We rented three rooms for two nights at this hotel. The room occupied by our 94 year old grandmother was billed as handicapped accessible. The phone never did work, there was no remote for the TV, and the toilet failed. Hotel staff "fixed" the toilet eventually, but there was no phone for an elderly woman to call out to her children if necessary. Also, […] the pool was dirty and unusable. After considerable argument, the hotel offered a 10% refund, which never was received. Mehr

The hotel had just been remodeled, upgrades are nice. Can't complain much about anything...we were on the 2nd floor at the end unit #201 good location A little street noise at night but we understand, we were young once!

We paid a lot of $$$ to get the worst room in the complex. Yes the Travelodge Napa is a square complex that surrounded some parking spaces for maybe 20% of the guests.. All other guests gets to park in the street, and the guests have until 10AM to move their vehicles or get a ticket. Our room #117 on the first floor was right next to two handicap parking […] spaces, that were used throughout the night as drop off spaces, as all the parking spaces in the complex were full by 4 PM. Our room was also next to the pool gate that required a 4 digit code. So all the guests who had rooms by the pool had to enter through this pool gate directly in fornt of our front window. Now the best part for you non-smokers, where do you think all the smokers conugated when they wanted a butt, correct right outside of our door, since it was also the MAIN entrance to the 2nd and 3rd floors. We had traffic until 2 AM and starting back at 6 AM, so got a total of 4 hours of rest. Now, the biggest concern for you thinking about booking a room at this Hotel is the Manager. When I asked him the night we checked into the hotel, if I could get another room, he stated you have a beautiful room, what is your issue. When I stated my concerns about the room location, he stated DID you request a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor? When I responded No, he stated that was my problem and next time I should make that request. I then asked once again, if I could move to another room and he stated, NO, as I did not request a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. When I asked him for the owner's name and contact information, he responded, take my business card, it has my email address and I will determine if I will forward your email to the owner. I then stepped aside and saw him check in another three guests, and their treatment was identical to mine RUDE and not a nice person to deal with. If you plan to stay at this hotel, my suggestions are to make sure you request a room on the 2nd or 3rd floors and if at possible try NO Mehr

I think we got the worst room possible. A/c didnt work properly, tv and remote was broken, and one light was out. We were next to the elevator and it was really old so you can hear its doors open and slam shut every time as well as go up and down. The staff did nothing about the noise, people were up and about yelling till probably 1 am coming and  […] going. Mehr

location was the only good thing about this hotel

If you will have thin walls, have some sort of policy with 'quiet hours' when TV's are off. The room next door or above us had it on LOUD. Or the walls are really thin. The front desk couldn't (or wouldn't) do anything about it. I'm paying over $100 so I don't HAVE TO confront ill behavior. I now remember what it was like before I got a house, and lived […] in an apartment. Also, I couldn't use the jacuzzi tub because no one had a correct size drain stopper to use. In all, I had a jacuzzi I couldn't use, and couldn't get to sleep till 1:30 am on a Thursday morning when I had to get up early. I'm not making this mistake again! Mehr

Hard to sleep: thin walls and scratchy sheets. For the price paid it was a good deal, but I would rather pay $50 more and just into another class of hotels. Impressed for the price.

The room needed a clock/radio.

Front desk person was very outgoing and nice. He upgraded our room and gave good suggestions for entertainment. However, the room was a little dank and carpet was gross. Might be time to pull it up and replace or at least clean and repair a little. It was one of the cheapest places to stay, but I think I will pay a little more next time for a nicer […] accomodation. I was there for the weekend and decided to stay at hotel because of price and location. Although location was great, the hotel was horrible. Shower had no pressure, tv only had like 8 channels, super old phone that hardly worked, sheets had holes and looked old and dirty, and we didn't even have a complete roll of toilet paper so we ran out! Even though […] we only needed hotel to sleep we weren't able to because foam lining kept on shifting off the bed and when we asked for late check out they don't let you!!!! For being in downtown napa this hotel was gross! I will stay a little further away next time. Do not recomend!!!!! Mehr

We checked in and got the dreaded Room 119. It is as bad as people say it is- it's not like Vegas hotels- where you might hear the elevator, in Room 119, you WILL hear it. ALL THE TIME. ALL NIGHT. Let me say that again, in case you don't believe me: YOU WILL HEAR THE ELEVATOR ALL NIGHT. That said, once I mentioned my problem to the manager, he immediately […] apologized and upgraded us to one of their suites. We decided to stay in the "jacuzzi suite" due to the affordable price. Jacuzzi was a glorified tub. Blew out black particles (dirt?) when turned on, which ruined bathing experience. There was no working fan in bathroom either, which made everything damp in bathroom. The room was not extremely clean. It was a standard room, so not sure why they call […] it a suite. Maybe because it had a bay window? We will not stay there again. Mehr

Don't take room 119! Here's why: majority of hotel guests will pass your room window on the way to the elevators, you just might notice the newlyweds in the next room, the ceiling will creak as if just about to give, the room is small but oddly large bathroom, not well vacuumed behind the furniture, the T.V. only broadcasts 7 channels (8 if it wants […] to). if you require Wi-Fi for business bring alternative ways to get connected and the worst is the elevator - it will feel like you're going up and down with it. If you think I'm exaggerating, check-in and enjoy the ride! Mehr

For a Travelodge, this is a hotel I would recommend. All was good. Clean, not noisey, room was fine, it was a good experience.

for downtown location - it's the best. anyone coming up to see shows at uptown theatre, this one-night spot is ideal.

This is a great place to be able to walk downtown Napa. My only concern was that the security latch on my door was broken. I love being able to open the windows.

This hotel was in a great location, but as for that well it was not a very pleasant stay itself. First they don,t allow early check in and not even if your a club member which is bit unfair, also staff at check in was not very nice or professional. Our room was at very back of hotel stuck in corner and as a result the internet signal was unable to reach […] us. The room itself had carpet that was very dirty and the pillows were very small and not comfy in any way!! The bathroom was very small and towels were small also , not great for baths and showers. Our iron inr oom did not work either and the tv only had 3-4 stations in total!! They had very little car space for our car and when we return from dinner one eve we had to park car across street from hotel in which it was vandalized also!! Even though hotel had no liability the staff at front desk just did not care or feel anything for us. The room walls are so thin and all you here is other movement if you have room above your,s and the noise of other ac machines drilling the walls all night !! This hotel is great location for napa downtown but the staff hotel and room was a very unpleasant experience all round!! NEVER AGAIN Mehr

The Travelodge is an older, though well maintained hotel very near to downtown Napa. The staff were all very courteous and helpful, going above and beyond to give directions and suggestions when asked. The room was comfortable and clean, though not luxurious, it was fine for our purposes. The room rate when reserved on line was actually reduced upon […] check in, saving us a little extra - always appreciated! All in all, I would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again, or recommending it to friends who do not require ultra fancy resort type rooms. Mehr

My wife and I only stayed for one night in Napa - we checked in late and left early the next morning. The Travelodge was a perfect choice for our needs. Lots of parking when we arrived, close to the "downtown" area. Don't expect luxury, but a good bed to sleep in.

I was very pleased with everything about our stay. Check in took less than one minute and the clerk was very courteous. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is one block from the river and a short walk to the wine train, which made it an ideal location for us. My only complaint was it was a little difficult to get the room temperature […] adjusted correctly as there was not a thermostat. The room has an individual heat/air system that you chose heat, cool, or air and adjust the dial up or down. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again in the future. I reserved the "king suite" thinking I would get a little more Luxury for the money spent. Not the case the phone or Internet wasn't working the blinds didn't effectively block light so up early on the morning. The blankets were coarse the bathroom could have been cleaner. Not a dive but it could be managed much better.

I enjoyed my experience at Travelodge. The only inconvenience was parking. There was a farmers market going on across the street and it took me 30 minutes to find somewhere to park.
