Omni Hotel at CNN Center - Atlanta

Hatten das Omni Hotel am Anfang und am Ende unserer Reise für ingesamt 3 Nächte gebucht und waren dort sehr gut aufgehoben. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, geräumig und sehr sauber, das Hotel hat trotz der Größe und der Betonbauweise eine sehr angenehme Athmosphäre. Hatten anfangs für 2 Nächte ein Zimmer zum Innenhof hin (CNN Center und Food Court), für die […] letzte Nacht vor unserer Rückreise hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die Skyline (spektakuläre Aussicht) angefragt und anstandslos bekommen. Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas entfernt von der eigentlichen Downtown (Peachtree Str.), aber die Sehenswürdigkeiten Coca Cola Museum und das Georgia Aquarium sind dafür in Sichtweite und man muss dafür nur direkt durch den Centennial Park laufen (5 - 10 Minuten). Noch zentraler, nämlich in demselben Gebäudekomplex, liegen das CNN Center und für Sportbegeisterte die Philips Arena (beides trockenen Fusses problemlos in 1 - 3 Minuten zu erreichen !). Sofern man nicht im Hotel frühstücken möchte, bietet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe auch der Foodcourt im CNN Center an. Mehr

Convenient to Philips Arena...good restaurants. Room initially didn't have a good view...but air didn't work & it was going to be another hour toget it going. They gave us another room with a view of centennial park & free breakfast buffet for the inconvenience ....great service! Given the amount of money we paid some issues are as follows: T.V. clicker did not work, and the button on the T.V. to change the channels was missing. The car valet was great and the overall staff was very helpful. The rooms are dated and the beds were hard compared to the W hotels. A bit overpriced for what you got.

Went for the Celtics Hawks playoff game, hotel could not have been in a better location, connected to the CNN center and the Phillips arena. Just a couple blocks from the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coke and right across the street from the Olympic park

We had a great time, however, the Omni is a little confusing to navigate and the mandatory valet parking was a surprise. Otherwise, we enjoyed it greatly.

Booked a last-minute trip to attend a tradeshow in Atlanta. The check-in was very quick and the room was ready and waiting. The room was very comfortable and clean. Very convenient to a variety of excellent restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for one night to see Springsteen at Philips Arena...it was great to not have to drive!

Great location and decent hotel.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel room was comfortable and I enjoyed the view from my room. The pillows could have been changed because of the smell, but otherwise, everything else acceptable.

I thought my stay was spectacular. Not one moment did I have a bad experience in Atlanta. The Staff all throughout the building were friendly approachable and willing to help make the stay effortless. I would recommend the Omni Hotel to anyone visiting Atlanta for an Event.

I was attending an event at Phillips Arena so I figured this would be more convenient since it's attached. At arrival, I had to walk from the N tower to S tower -wonderful in heels. After arriving to S tower, I stood in line behind about 40 other people waiting for the elevators. 10 min later, still no elevator! An employee grabbed some of us and let […] us use the service elevator. King room-worst shaped hotel room- literally make sure no one opened the rooms door when you walked back from the bathroom or you would get hit! Bed very hard, pillows very flat, shower zero light and decor old. **The most frustrating part - after the concert at the Phillips, they had the connector area closed!!!! The whole point of advertising and it was closed off!!!!! We had to walk outside just like everyone else and all the way around to the front doors. That was the cherry on the top of an already "underwhelming" experience. Mehr

We stayed for the UFC 145 event.

We went for the Hawks game and stayed the weekend! The hotel was clean and had helpful staff, however, we waited for at LEAST 30 minutes on the valet one afternoon! Also, we had to wait the same amount of time for our room to be ready along with several other families! We were looking forward to the view that was posted in a picture of downtown Atlanta […] but instead we looked at the North tower, out of our window. These are definately not deal breakers but we paid a lot of money more for the location, not the view and preperation of rooms, aparently. Other than that we would most likelt go back! Mehr

it is so funny to me to pay such a high rate and not have a microwave in our room - they did let us use the microwave in the lobby behind a secret door. Luckily when we arrived we left our car parked all weekend since we could walk - but when we checked out it took over 45 min for them to bring us our car. Other guests must have learned their lesson […] and called ahead and had the car waiting on them. Mehr

Parking 30 bucks a day. Beds are small

Business office assistant Sophia was amazing. I had a project that had to be completed on that day and Fedx that day. She was instrumental in helping me. Thanks again to her.

For a hotel of this caliber, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator in our room & a coffee maker.

I had trouble with my hotel key card. Most of the time it would not work in the elevator, then one time it would not let me get in my room. Really inconvenient. I asked the front desk clerk for a discount applied to my check for this problem and he just laughed.

The staff was great and very helpful. It is a clean and safe environment at the Omni Hotel at CNN center! I had a great time!

I was very impressed and felt very special. All of the staff went out of their way to treat us great! I loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms cause I freak out if its not clean! Very nice place to stay!

The mini-frig was brisk but not cold, the TV was a dinosaur and when I asked to have the frig tep addressed, the answer I got was 'we can get you a mini frig for an additional cost of $25". Not a place I will stay again with so many other choices out there.

Although the hotel was great I wasn't happy that I had to pay a $30 valet parking fee to leave my car. If I knew I was going to be charged this I wouldn't have booked at this hotel.

The hotel was very good, the room is nice, but the doors are quit thin, make sure you do not get a room near the vending machines! We did not had breakfast and car parking is charged at 30 us , wifi 10 us , i think if you pay nearly 300 us the room this should be included.. The location is excelent

We stayed 3 nights at the Omni Hotell/CNN Center. It is easy walking distance to the Georgia Dome, and it is basically attached to Philips Arena. Centennial Olympic Park and the Aquarium are also a very easy walk. The downtown area can be difficult to get around by car. The room and restaurant prices were reasonable for a nice downtown hotel. The housekeeping […] and valet services were great, but the restaurant staff were often rude. We were on the upper floors and sometimes had to wait several minutes for hot water in the shower. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again if I were attending events in the downtown area. Mehr

The lobby was very nice but the rooms really need to be updated.

Great location if you're in town for a concert at Philips Arena especially! BRUUUUUUUUUCE!!!!! It's within walking distance to many restaurants and close to a lot of attractions like the Aquarium, CNN Center, Centennial Park etc. The staff are especially helpful and accomadating. We were there for Bruce Springsteen concert. Cannot beat the convenience of just walking from the room to the concert without going outside. We had an awesome view of downtown and the bed was super comfy and big. We did however have very noisy neighbors and the air conditioner seemed to be leaking because the carpet was damp.

First time at an Omni hotel and quite impressed. Would lean toward an Omni for a future stay. Pleasant staff, no problems.

Stayed here for the first time for (2) nights with my family and everything was perfect. Very nice staff, excellent location. Only negative is Valet parking only. Would definitely stay here again.

The omni hotel staff was very nice and courteous. W enjoyed the location in regard to the proximity to Philips arena s well as the food court inside the CNN center.
