Satisfied.

Room was beautiful, lovely linens, bathroom was beautiful, very nice stay.....

Major remodeling, no place to park cars because of the re-asphalting of parking lot, no pool, room was in needed repair. Room door plate fell off as soon as entering, tissue cover plate on floor, 1/2 roll of toilet paper and no replacement, 2 towels, 1 wash cloth, 1 hand towel for 2 people 2 nights. Mirror is supposed to have 4 lights 2 burnt out, television […] out multiple times of days due to remodeling, sink wouldn't drain. Restaurant buffett food was COLD burners burn't out, cost was $22.00 for cold eggs, and cold french toast. Then Assistant General Manager lied, and then almost hit us in parking area when leaving with smile/smurk on his face. Mehr

Not really parking and the room and bed the worse

I loved my stay at Wyndam!! The room was awesome!! Although if a fridge and/or microwave had been included, that would have been better! But the only reason I didn't give the hotel a TOTAL 5 star thumbs up, is because there was construction going on in the hotel. I couldn't hear it or anything, but it did prevent me from enjoying some amenities like […] the pool! :( But will definitely stay there again! :) Mehr

I realize that hotels do need to remodel and that has to happen while guests are there but you should be made aware of that when booking your reservation. The restaurant was a converted conference room and there was no bar or room service after 10pm. There was construction everywhere and the room was quite nasty. Big chunks missing from the bathtub, […] shower head had mold, towels and sheets smelled, carpet was dirty. All in all convinced me why I would never stay at another Wyndham every again. Mehr

The hotel was under renovation so it was a mess parking and getting in and out of the hotel. They were redoing the TV system so for two days TV was in and out. One day there was no networks channels the entire day and night.

So called 3-star hotel is actually more like a 2 1/2 star. Construction and paving of parking lots and entrance made for limited access into hotel.

This Wyndham doesn't live up to others I've used but was comfortable enough for a night's stopover near SJ Intl Airport. Aging and sort of a tacky retro-green color outside, the interior is being renovated, which may explain the good rate I got. Restaurant is just a breakout meeting room, lobby is roped off, and hammers are pounding everywhere in April, […] 2012. Note: Probably least knowledgeable or communicative bartender ever met in a decent hotel. Doesn't know anything about his wine except what he sells most of , and which one says organic on the label. Lobby and pool under renovation

I really liked this hotel. Everything was great. The corner sofa was cool, the only problem it had was that the back seat was coming off so a nail or staple was sticking out... i almost ripped my finger off... you all need to fix that.

Aside from the renovations in the lobby, the hotel was ok. Was a little disappointed in that the shuttle driver that picked me up at the airport mentioned that the morning driver would be able to drop me off at the train station. When I asked the morning driver if he would, he said no.

Sheeets were not cleaned. Hotel is under constrcution. Can't get room service after 10pm. Personnel cannot advise on where to eat even though there are some good restaurants surrounding. Use Yelp to find them. Don't ask hotel personnel.

construction in the lobby was a mess.front desk staff wasn't overly helpful.convenient to airport.no microwave.no fridge. will be real nice after construction completed.

To quickly summarize: Hotel is located right next to VTA so you can hear the train. Hotel is located directly in flight path of airplanes to and from San Jose Airport. Maintenance is still going on even though I was told it would be done by first week of April. Walls are tissue paper thin and you can hear everything that is going on in all surrounding […] rooms... my neighbors wake up call woke me up. My room was beautiful!!! Although no refrigerator or microwave. Other than that, I loved the room. Decor was very classy and not at all obnoxious like a lot of hotels can be. :)

Hotel was being renovated! Room was old and not very clean.

The hotel was under construction, navigating to the front desk (temporary one) difficult, and the AC is very noisy, bad neighborhood, and overall unpleasant experience.

The hotel is under construction and is a mess right now. The thing that bothered me the most was the listing The listing read "20 % food and beverage credit." To me that means that I should have had about an $ 80.00 credit for food and beverages. That is not the case - The Hotel gave me one ticket for 20% off one check. - Not as advertised in my opinion. Don't go until the end of May or June 2012 when all of the major remodel work is done. The place is a mess!!! :-(

I will echo another review. This was a very disappointing experience. Loud monster wall furnace in room kept me awake all night. Room service menu said kitchen was open until 11, but when I called down for service at 10pm, I was informed that the kitchen was closed. Bed felt like it was 100 years old. The Wyndham is under renovation so the lobby and common areas of the hotel are completely unavailable. This wasn't awful - but made me a little uncomfortable that anyone could enter the hotel by the side doors which were kept open - and not be seen by HOTEL staff AT ALL because the side doors go right to the elevators. In addition our bathtub drain […] was not working at all and although maintenance did come to fix it - is was clearly a temporary fix - they left the soaking towels on the floor and did not bring replacement mats until I called them to let them know. Clearly there is work to do in getting this Wyndham back in top shape. Mehr

My room was nice, but I found the price too high due to all the construction being done, not being able to go to gym nor business center, having to go thru tunnels of construction, if. I would of know I could of paid same price without the constuction issues around.

The Wyndham is a nice hotel to stay at...great service.When I stayed there they had construction going on.But it didnt bug me one bit.And the rooms are really nice too :)

Hotel service was good, room comfortable but only thing that was not good was the remodeling of the lobby area-very noisy and inconvenient.

Stayed here one night. The check in was a breeze even with the remodel going on. I liked the updated rooms. very cozy and very cute. Modern furnishings and great colors. I will definately stay here again :)

Even though the hotel was under construction, I didn't hear any noise. The place was clean and staff was helpful. I would recommend this place.

First of all I booked a smoking room on the website when I got to the hotel I was told that the entire hotel was smoke free and smoking was only allowed outside in the rain! I also did not apreciate that the room doors do not slow as they close so I heard the doors slam everytime one was opened. When I stayed there, it was still under renovation, so consider that. The room was nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator as part of the room. It is quiet, except for airplane noise (duh!), and the Trolley bell was charming to hear in the background, not annoying. Neither of the telephones worked […] in the room. The TV would not function on the 3rd night, I don't think it was the remote battery; the TV was very intermittent when operated from the buttons on the side of the TV. The wiring harness had little slack in it, so when you rotated the TV, or moved it, the power plug would come out. This will be an ongoing problem if they don't address it. They use mini-jack cables for ext. video and audio, which is prone to being intermittent and noisy. They then put me in another room, and the TV was working, but with the same connection cabling issue. The phones worked in the new room. The restaurant was another issue. I had dinner there the 2nd night, and the salad was wet, with not enough dressing. The crabcakes were a little under done and didn't have enough sauce. I had a breakfast buffet in the morning, and the croissants were day old, not at all fresh. The french toast had obviously been made very early in the morning (4:00am?), they were dry and tough. They served things in silver chaffing dishes, but the food didn't justify this touch. The scrambled eggs were good. The jams were mostly Orange Marmalade and Strawberry, I had to ask for Blackberry which was in short supply. The oatmeal was VERY overcooked, which is typical of low-medium class hotels. This hotel should have al-dente oatmeal (cooked as on the box). Summary, the hotel made a big show, but with no delivery. This should be a bright spot on First St. near the Airport; but it is ordinary. Some good management (hotel and restaurant) would make a big difference. The hotel is incredibly well priced for the location. Not many amenities due to the construction but not a problem for me.

Very convenient since we arrived very late from airport and had to leave early for another flight. Shuttle provided and was very courteous. Would stay again.

This hotel is under major renovation.

We have stayed here at least 5 times. Each time it gets worse. The hotel is not bad for the price, although right now the renovations make that hard to see. It's a bit torn apart, but that isn't the problem. Although we always have an updated room, the air conditioner unit is not! It is the one on the wall, old school, with the control on the wall(udated) […] even if you put it at 60.. feels like 74 in the room! Last 3 times have been bad.. As we checked in this time, even overheard someone call the front desk complaining. Mehr

The rooms were newly redocrated with modern amenetities. The rooms are clean, the beds are cozy,and there are lots of modern gadgets technology clearly implemented as a recent remodel. Unfortunately old fixtures remain, often painted or wallpapered over, with some rusting evident on a couple of the remaining fixtures. The square footage in my Double […] was smaller than those of other hotels. The common area remains under contruction and was generally not well-kept with periodically cracked tiles, and dirty floors in the check-in and elevator areas. Despite the construction I didn't experience any noise inconvenience. The location is close to the airport and across from a light rail stop, plus the shuttle is very convenient, but I would not feel safe walking in the vicinity or even sitting in the parking lot for too long. In summary I got a good rate, on an acceptable rood and would stay again for that rate, but not for muc,h more. Mehr

This place is a complete dump...period! Room was simple and dirty. There are a bunch of other hotels in the same area for a much better price, try them instead.

Stayed for one night on a Saturday night. They are going through some remodeling but it didn't really affect the hotel or my stay. The lobby service was great. The room was great. I didn't have a blow dryer in room and when I called front desk they sent someone up with a brand new one. Great service! Overall a great stay and I would definately reco […] mmend. Mehr

Hotel rooms are just OK, in need of the remodel underway. Very convenient for SJC Airport, but the rate was high for the quality of the hotel & rooms. The lobby and much of the first floor is boarded off for construction. The staff said this was noted in the information about the hotel at time of booking. This was our second stay at Wyndham and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Despite the current remodel, we didn't feel any less at home. Great location and suberb staff make this our go to hotel for all San Jose visits. The neighborhood seems a bit sketchy, but we've never encountered any problems with leaving our vehicle parked overnight
