The hotel is out of date. The place could diffently use a rehab at lease on the out side. After staying the first night, we left out in the morning and when we returned that night to get in the bed we notice hair on the sheets. Which needless to say was quite gross. So we had to clean the sheets ourselfs and then it was a restless nite for us. I don't […] usually have this problem with La Quinta but this was not what we expected nor was it exceptable. I will definatly inquire around more before trusting a picture and reputation.... Mehr

The only issue was that the bathroom had a funny smell but the front desk was very helpful and switched us to a different room right away.

Our stay at this hotel was terrible, my room was not cleaned properly. There was a dry blood stain, on top of that our maid refused to make one of the beds. The pool water seemed to be dirty, next to the bathroom door appeared to be growing mold. I will never come back to this hotel and will never recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is too close to the railroad tracks, no fridge or microwave and no dvd player to play movies on. Tub had the cold water turning in the opposite direction to get the water to flow.

I hade a tough time sleeping with the train so close and horn blowing through the night. The traffic from the expressway was so loud that it seemed we had a window or door open. There was also a strong howling noise coming down the hallway that was really bad also. Both my daughter and I had a tough time sleeping. This property is great for anyone travelling with pets. Rooms open onto the parking lot and it has a large field and running track next door to with access to exercise pets.

If tou are looking for a La Quinta hotel, keep looking. This is an older style Motel. It is clean but the bathrooms are very tiny and the sink is outside the water closet. Yes, there is a train across the street but this is Texas folks. It's flat here and we have trains. Get over it. It's not that loud imo even with the horn blaring but I'm used to […] trains. Saw one room with about 12 people in it and one guy with a prostitute. The motel draws all types of people. I am always with a friend, a Kel-Tec .380 or Colt .45 so it really didn't bother me. Generally we found the motel quiet at night with no noise from other guests. The lobby is clean and bright and uou make your own waffles in the morning. For the money, it was a pretty good value and I'd stay there again. no problem. Mehr

Beds were great. Tx shaped waffles. Walking path next door, great for pets. Train loudly goes by a couple times a day but my three yr old loved it so it didn't seem to bother us as much. Strong water pressure in the shower. Overall a good choice. We stayed there for 5 nights while looking for housing.

Excellent service... Very comfy and clean... Would definately stay there again and will recommend to others

I wish someone noted that this hotel is VERY near a rail road track. Heard lots of very loud trains several times throughout the night and early morning. Room smelled a little musty (like a lot of hotels do) and needed some minor maintenance but nothing too bad. Overall it was cheap and got the job done.

They gave us a super humid room, in fact they gave us the reason the next moring saying that room was just washed out, we couldn't sleep well b/s of the humidity there.

First, the hotel itself looked to be stuck in the 70's except for the foyer/check in area. Second, my room smelled of smoke Third, When trying to connect to the internet (they have free internet access) I could not!! Called the front desk and they said they were experiencing problems and would have the solved tomorrow....WRONG!! The second night without […] internet access even though my computer said that I was connected. Called the front desk again and this time I was told that the I.T. represenative did not show up...NOW, (as I find out later) I WAS LIED TO!!! This really did not sit well with me....here's how I found out....The Third night (of a 5 night stay) I actually went to the front desk and complained emphatically!! The desk clerk on duty gave me a phone number to call the I.T. rep, myself to complain. Yes, I did call, and it just happened to be the La Quinta I.T. Department...Surprised, I am now!!! This technician actually helped me to gain access thru a backdoor that I had no clue about (and I'm pretty computer literate)...Anyway, here is the good part, When asked why I am able to connect now and not in the past, he explained to me that the location where I was staying, NOW GET THIS.....DID NOT KNOW HOW TO CLEAN UP THEIR TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES!!!! OMG!!! This is a very simple task that anyone should know how to do. He also explained that this should be done each day at every location and that THERE ARE VERY SIMPLE AND EXACT DIRECTIONS ON THE PROPER WAY TO PERFORM THIS TASK. This sounds like a very lazy manager to me!!!! If they cannot follow simple instructions to comple such an easy task, they how do they ever get a person checked into this hotel to begin with??? Anyway, bottom line...I'm not staying here again!!! Mehr

Good Hotel, needs improvement on the facilities, but rooms are great. will stay there again

Needs improvements and more security around the facility. Bath is too small, smell good but carpet was dirty. Outside needs to be clean.

Was a nice hotel but the train blowing its whistle at 11pm and 6am woke me up.

i am not picky. this place was clean, well kept and had pleasant staff. for the over night stay i was satisfied with laquinta

This place is not typical of most La Quinta’s this place was old dirty and unpleasant. there is a train that runs near the hotel and the bathroom had mold in the grout. The bathroom fan made a howl and looked like the ceiling was separating from the walls (1 inch gap between the wall and ceiling drywall). the Heater worked poorly and it was during the […] snow storm in January 2011. I hated every minute i stayed here. One positive note the internet was fast so was able to watch Netflix to take me away from the reality of this place. The neighborhood was also scary to be in. The location of the hotel was fine and the outside appearance was okay. Everything was fine until I turned the bedding down. There was dirt and debris in between the sheets and covers! It looked as if someone had gotten in the beds with their shoes on! I did not bother to complain or request another room. I simply will not stay at LaQuinta anymore!

This was not as we expected at all. The pictures online made it look decent. We have 2 smaller children with allergies. When we walked in you could smell the moisture/mildew. I was shocked! There was paint chipped off of the walls in bathroom. Breakfast consisted of two waffle makers that had a wait of 20 minutes to make and your normal choice of yogurt, […] toast, and 2 cereals. Employees were super nice is my only nice thing to say. They just weren't able to make it cleaner or a nicer environment to stay in. Our family will not stay here again. Mehr

The a/c in the room was not working. I tried calling the front desk but no one would answer. So I walked down there and there were 2 people just standing there. Ok so why weren't they answering the phones? They claim it never rang. So the manager says maintenance will be over right away. I leave and when I come back the a/c is still not working. I go […] tell them about it again and they apologize but they are booked and can't move me. Well then the train horn blares. Every hour on the hour I was woken up by the stupid train horn. This was not a pleasant stay. The neighborhood was very shady also. Loud neighbors. Gross green pool. Nothing good to say about this hotel. Mehr

Nothing fancy, but all the essentials, and clean. Nice complimentary breakfast. On service road, so easy to find and get to anywhere in San Antonio.

WE STAYED THERE BECAUSE OUR SON & HIS FAMILY HAD STAYED THERE BEFORE. THEY HAVE 2 RAT TERRIERS THAT TRAVEL WITH THEM. THIS MOTEL ACCEPTS PETS. WE WANTED TO BE WHERE THEY WERE STAYING. TWO OF OUR SONS & THEIR FAMILIES HAD ROOMS THERE. OUR STAY WAS GREAT.

We expected more from a La Quinta brand hotel. Needed repair/maintenance/paint etc. The people were nice enough and did what they could to make the experience good but we felt like they all wanted to be somewhere else.

The facilities are old, but clean. The bathroom is too small and so the dinning area.

tub didn't drain well. The pool was overloaded so was not able to enjoy pool. Some lights would work one day and then later wouldn't.

I found the La Quinta at Rittman to be and excellent room for the money. Had stayed there on previous weekend so was pleased to find I had the same room for later in the week. The staff was extremely helpful and curteous. Location was a little distance from my meetings but price more than compensated for drive.

The pool was a swamp! It was green from one end to the other. There were dead spiders in the bathroom and the grout had mold all over it. The shower head was covered in hard minerals. The breakfast was sparse at best. The staff really had no interest in getting the pool clean or in the relations with the guests. And, the sound of the traffic from the […] highway was annoying. We were traveling with 3 teenaged boys; the pool and the breakfast amenities were why we chose this hotel - we will not make that mistake again! Mehr

I found this hotel to be quite satisfactory. It was not a high end hotel, but met our needs. The staff was extremely curteous and helpful.

The hotel was great it was clean and very comfy. The only problem i had with the hotel was that the pool was a little dirty. But other than that it was a nice stay. Thank you!!

Cuando tengo que ir a san antonio por esa zona de la ciudad trato de llegar a este hotel, muy accesible a la red de caminos que rodean san antonio y de facil salida de la localidad para tiendas y zona centro.

es un buen hotel, con una magnifica ubicacion. el trato del personal fue excelente

El Hotel esta bien ubicado, pero creo que le hace falta mucho mantenimiento y seguridad... la habitación olia mucho a cigarro a paresar que era de no fumar y la policia estuvo toda la noche en el hotel atendiondo ciertas situaciones.... eso no es comodo...

La habitación esta limpia, el colchon muy comodo. Los recepcionistas son muy amables. Hay vigilancia para los autos. La ubicación del Hotel es estrategica ya que uno puede ir a San Marcos, Centro, Aeropuerto o al Mall.

Era facil darse cuenta de la necesidad de pintura en muchos lugares del hotel, la recepcion y el desayuno muy buenos, pero las habitaciones encontramos cucarachas, el refrigerador y el micro en mal estado, huele a cigarro aun cuando se supone son habitaciones de "No Fumar"
