"Günstig, aber nur mit einem Auto"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 15. Feb. 2013Verkehrsgünstig gelegen, nicht weit entfernt vom Texas Medical Center oder der Rice University. Auch Downtown kann man relativ schnell erreichen. Allerdings sollte man die Umgebung des Hotels besser nicht zu Fuß erkunden. Mit dem Auto hätte ich keine Bedenken. Das Frühstück ist minimal, aber für den Preis ok.

"A Pearl in an Oyster"
This motel is surrounded by the oil industry. It is also fairly close to the San Jacinto battleground and the USS Texas museum. But what an oasis! We were very spoiled by our stay. The breakfast was okay but with lots of food places close by it wasn't a factor. The grounds were terrific, the pool was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. […] The room was great! This is an older hotel that has been fairly well maintained. The property was clean, but showed signs of wear. The staff was friendly and helpful. This location provides easy access to 146, and it's about 15 to 20 minutes to Kemah and Johnson Space Center. The street noise was bad until 2 am on Friday and Saturday, with a restaurant and biker bar down […] the street. If you can sleep through noise and need a place to stay, this hotel is adequate. Our stay was overall enjoyable. The breakfast was weak and there were no plates for the waffles. The clerk did not seem to care that plates were not available. This had to be the worst La Quinta that have ever stayed in. My first room the toilet would not drain. The floor in bathroom and the carpet going into bathroom were wet. I was told they had no maintenace personnel to fix the toilet. They didn't know why the carpet was wet! The evening. Personnel were as helpful as they could be. "housekeeping should have found this during cleanin"
we checked in at 1:00 p.m. the cold water knob in the shower was broken,and at 10:00 the maintance man wasn't available, no other rooms available execpt smoking. they offered me to take a shower in the meeting room, which i did. mean while my guest managed to fix the knob so they could shower. the only thing different that we did the whole weekend . […] and here i'am with a rash on both legs below the knees and itches like the devil. i went out there for the drag race that weekend, and had to be tortured to death with a ...rash. been putting cortaid on it. bout ready to go to a doctor. so if there's any other questions feel free. this is my work site and just return back to work. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here over Christmas. We have stayed at La Quinta before in Baytown. Both stays were great. I really liked the refridgerator and microwave. "Dirty Hotel"
The room was really dirty. The staff at Expedia helped me cancel my second night. I would have canceled the first night tooo, if u did not arrive at 3 am. I beds were dirty, shower dirty, we slept fully clothed.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

we stayed one night with our two children and were very satisfied with the accommodations for the price. The breakfast was exceptional with several choices from hot, cold and prepared items. Our room did have a refrig/microwave which was very convenient. There is a slight musty odor, but nothing unbearable - remember your on the coast - great barga […] in.
