The hotel was very nice, however, as we were there during one of Denvers snow storms it was difficult to get out. It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator & perhaps a microwave. Over all it was an enjoyable stay. Thanks to Hotels.com it was very affordable.

Hotel is older and needs some updates but the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Walls seem paper thin and kids running the hallways all night was not appreciated. Hotel staff was very friendly and efficient.

Extremely comfortable beds with feather pillows and comforters. Best breakfast buffet I've ever had in a hotel--definitely worth adding it as a package deal. Wonderful service in the hotel and restaurant. Yummy cookies at check-in. No Jacuzzi, but indoor pool was nice and warm. Close to Tech Center, restaurants, and Park Meadows Mall.

Can't order movies in room, no mini fridge, and pool as hot as a jacuzzi, but terrific service and very clean. Couple exits from food, mall, and fun. Great place to stay.

My hubby and I took a weekend to get away from the hustle and bustle and came here. Had a great weekend. It's close to shopping and restaurants so you don't have to drive very far at all. The outlet mall in Castle Rock is about fifteen minutes away and park meadows mall is like maybe five minutes. What girl doesn't like to shop... The staff were very […] friendly and the breakfast food was awesome. They have two buffets to choose from. If you want a fridge you need to request one. It doesnt cost extra.. just call and theyll have it ready when you get there. My only complaints are there's no microwave or DVD player in the room. Not having a DVD player in the room wouldn't be so bad if it had a feature to rent movies in the room. Rather than that awesome hotel and would definitely stay here again. While the room was clean and beautiful and I loved the swan on the bed and in the bathroom, it's disappointing when you pay for a nicer hotel and it doesn't include complimentary, in room, internet or any continental breakfast. I shouldn't have to be in the common area just to get wifi for free. And as for breakfast, it saves so much time in the morning […] to have a little something there at the hotel to grab and for what is paid, it should be complimentary. A cookie at checkin just doesn't cut it. And you shouldn't have to have 22 or 44 or any number of stays just for free internet. Mehr

Not only was hotel well maintained but staff were very friendly and efficient. If ordering room service, make sure they repeat your order. Nothing came as I ordered it and was charged for a side salad when the salad was a choice instead of fries. Also received the fries.....

Had a very nice stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The renovations to the hotel make it a very modern and pleasant environment. The restuarant was lovely and lived up to the other reviews I read about it (definitly worth trying), and the cafe was really great and handy as well. My room was very comfortable. If you want a mini fridge, you […] need to request one at the service desk. No room safe, although you can leave valuables in the front desk safe. The origami folded towels are a very nice touch ... and the hot cookie on arrival, very yuuuummmm. Gym was great also. The light rail station that runs into the city is very close by and easy to use. Supermarkets (if you want them) are about a 2km walk and there were no other close restuarants that I am aware of. Car hire is also available at the hotel, although not well advertised. They also have a free business center that was really handy. In all, a great stay. Only downside was that the extraction fans in the room are rather noisy so you could tell when other guests were using their bathrooms, but a minor inconvenience. Will use again. It was an ecellent stay. Very convienent to the Light Rail system. Easy ride to downtown, Pepsi Center,Sports Authority @ Mile High and Coors Field. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice Comfortable beds and pillows. Easy free outside parking. nice pool area.

Nice clean rooms, some nice added touches by the housekeeping staff, the workout room was equipped with good equipment, the coffee shop had excellent coffee, room service food was good (for room service). The pool is small, but it is Denver so I guess you don't really expect to swim. It is a good business trip hotel.

We were impressed by the space in the room itself. It felt comfortable and homey. The beds and pillows were amazing :) and the fitness center was well equipped. We loved staying here!

Great room, wonderful beds, and the chocolate chip cookies are as good as every. But wifi in your room is an extra charge per day. And the AT&T hotspot requires that you manually login, virtually every time you use each of your devices. Staff were very friendly and responsive to questions.

They were the best hotel staff I have ever encountered, extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. I will definitely use this hotel again. The restaurant has a wonderful chef and prices are medium.

Beautiful, clean hotel. We only ran into one issue - when we went to check in they didn't have us in the computer system. The front desk attendee asked pretty snarkily and fairly rudely, if we were at the wrong hotel. (We are both pretty young and were in work clothing). Only after we were about to leave (after I had paid a hefty fee to stay at their […] hotel), she asked "Oh, what was your last name again"? Apparently she had given our room to someone else. After we got that settled she printed the receipt which had the someone else's address on it. This means she gave out my address to a complete stranger. After that fiasco, she gave us warm cookies and we headed to our room. Fortunately, the rest of the stay was fantastic! Although, the cleaning staff didn't come until 4pm the next day when we had settled in to watch the big game (It is a Huge hotel). They did offer us new towels and coffee which was nice! All in all, I would recommend this hotel to a friend or family member - I doubt those issues happen regularly! Mehr

Doubletree DTC in south-central Denver is close to myriad food and shopping options, has instant access to major thorough-fares, and cheerful staff. Bed was comfortable, room quiet, amenities plentiful. However, Hilton std rate way too high for one night stay. One great reason to love hotels.com!

The Doubletree was perfect for our stay in Denver. Very near our Daughter and Son-in-law. Easy access to everything. Room was very nice, overlooking the indoor pool. Loved the hot cookies we got on checking in.

I was surprised that they charged extra for in room internet. There was no microwave or refrigerator even though the cabinet was in place. My card key inactivated and required that I go to the front lobby again to reactivate it. Overall, over priced when compared to Best Western.

DoubleTree @ the Tech Center is convenient & pleasant. I find it annoying that they charge a $10 fee for in room internet access- and the speed of that access is poor at best. Otherwise, all good. Food is above average,with an excellent breakfast buffet. People here are a highlight, pleasant and always willing to accomodate

I stayed here for my sons hockey tournament and the location was good. It wasn't the worst, or best, but fine for a night or two. I wish there was free wifi in the room for guests, that was a little annoying. Don't all places have free wifi anymore?

Stayed at DoubleTree for 2 nights to visit family in Denver. Hotel was nothing fancy but clean & comfortable, and is right next to I-25 so it was easy to get around the city. Staff was wonderful and very helpful; and very easy to find. I stayed for a meeting, and each staff member I saw had asked if I needed anything, and with a smile. Great hotel, great staff. Would recommend to all. Most importantly, very comfortable beds and pillows :-)

I booked this hotel because it was close to a light rail station and all of the hotels downtown were full for the Bronco game. Price was high, but I figured it was due to the game and and not the occupancy (mostly empty). Front desk staff were very unwelcoming and seemed irritated that I was there. They forgot to include the breakfast voucher that was […] part of my room rate so I had to go back down to get them. The same person that checked me in was once again irritated and seemed to think I was cheating him by asking for the voucher that he forgot to offer. I'd skip the hotel simply due to the unwelcoming staff, but the hotel was clean and the beds were nice. Restaurant was nice and the buffet was delicious. Service was good. We arrived shortly after check in time and we were greeted by a friendly staff that definitely goes out of its way for the customer. We received warm cookies and the check in process was fast and easy. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. These beds are great! The only down side to the evening was that the sink in the bathroom stopped draining. […] When we woke up the next morning it was working fine again though. We put the staff to the test and called the front desk to find silverware for desert we brought back to the hotel from dinner at Elways Downtown. Within 2 minutes a member of the kitchen staff was at our door with everything we needed plus some extras. Shortly after we went down to the bar to see about a cup of coffee and the bartebder told us they had just put the coffee away. Without breaking stride he smiled and stated that it only means it would take an extra minute to brew some and he did. We didn't even have to ask him to. We decided to eat breakfast at the hotel so we filled out the breakfast card provided in the room and hung it on the door. Breakfast arrived at our specified time and the meal was delicious. All in all I give this hotel two thumbs up. Amazing experience and a great overall stay! Mehr
