Nur ca. 80 m von der Metrostation Deak Ference entfernt. Großteil der Sehenswürdigkeiten von dort aus zu Fuß erreichbar. Ansonsten optimale Anbindung an Metro, Straßenbahn und Bus. Das Hotel selber kann ich jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis passen.

Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe der EXPO. Da wir ein Auto dabei hatten, war mfür mich der kostenlose Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel super. In anderen Hotels in BUD musste ich immer bis zu 16 EUR zahlen. Dafür ist man hier etwas abseits, jedoch in ca. 10 minuten mitten in BUD. Das Frühstücksbuffet entsprach den Erwartungen. Auswahl an Eierspeisen und Wurst war besser als im Mercure. Und das beste, hier noch alles inkl. Auf dem Dach gibt es auch noch einen WellnessBereich. Hier der Abstrich, die Sauna wurde leider erst am abend angeschaltet und der Jacuzi war leider abends um 7 immer noch auf 29 Grad. DIeser wurde zwar an diesem Tag gereinigt, doch dies hätte man auch am Vormittag machen können, so dass am Abend dieser auch zu benutzen ist! Ansonsten, tolles Hotel. Ich werde beim nächsten mal dieses wieder buchen. TIP: LH hat mir dieses Hotel schon mal angeboten, als mein Flug leider nicht zurück nach FRA starten konnte

Das Hotel hat eine Top-Lage in der Innenstadt. Das Haus ist sehr schön restauriert. Der Restaurant- Bereich ist besonders schön im alten Stil hergerichtet. Am Frühstücksbuffett ist für jeden etwas zu finden und bis zum Schluss wird alles aufgefüllt. Die Zimmer sind gut. Allerdings war der W-Lan Empfang im Anbau schlecht. Ein Netzwerkkabel gehörte auch zur Ausstattung. Der Wellness- Bereich ist sauber und gut. Alles in allem ein Super- Hotel, um die Stadt zu erkunden.

Großes, schön eingerichtetes Hotel, zwar etwas Abseits gelegen und die Umgebung ist eine einfache Wohngegend. Dennoch reizvoll direkt gegenüber der Margareteninsel und man ist schnell bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bezahlbare Parkplätze vor dem Hotel sind ein großer Pluspunkt in Budapest.

Lage: Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs, in einer etwas ruhigeren Seitenstraße und ist relativ einfach zu finden. Die Stadt-Busse fahren fast direkt vor dem Hotel vorbei, so dass man diese wunderbar für die Fahrt in den Stadtkern nutzten kann. Die Tickets konnten wir direkt im Hotel kaufen. Hotel: Das Hotel macht schon von Außen einen sehr schönen und gepflegten Eindruck und auch der Empfangsbreich sowie die Aufzüge und Flure alles super sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Die Empfangsmitarbeiter waren sehr nett und man konnte alles auf Deutsch erledigen. Zimmer: Die Zimmer waren sauber, nur im Bad waren ein paar kleine Stellen, die noch genauer geputzt hätten werden können und die Dusche hätte von Außen eine neue Fuge benötigt. Aber die Dusche im innreren und die Amaturen waren sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Das Bett war super bequem und auch sehr schön groß! Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk war sehr schön. Das Zimmer war sehr warm, da wir die Klimaanlage nicht zum laufen gebracht haben, aber wir haben das Fenster zum Balkon geöffnet und das war dann sehr angenehm. Schwimmbad/Restaurant: Haben wir beides nicht benutzt und können dazu nichts sagen. Frühstück: Die Auswahl war umfangreich, viele frische Früchte und Müsli, verschiedene Brote, Wurst und Käse. Auch warme Speisen. Es war für jeden etwas dabei. Tiefgarage: Wir haben den Tiefgaragenplatz genutzt, weil unser Auto ziemlich neu ist. Leider ist die Abfahrt in das zweite UG ziemglich eng und steil, so dass man vorsichtig fahren bzw. sein Auto gut kennen sollte. Aber ansonsten ist die Garage sehr parktisch und sauber. Abschließend kann man sagen, ein sehr schönes Hotel, in dem wir immer wieder übernachten würden, da es uns vor allem auf die Qualität der Betten sowie die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ankommt und diese unseren doch sehr hohen Anforderungen gerecht wurden. Hotel is situated in the most beautiful part of Buda. The hotel and its staff were very accommodating and we had a fab time. Hotel is conveniently located close to many lovely restaurants. I'd like to add that we had access to the Executive lounge which is great value for money and the staff were all very helpful. "Great hotel in perfect location"
The hotel is very good and it is located in a place that is so amazing that makes the location of the hotel perfect. The only drawbacks are not so stable heating system (hard to regulate the room temperature) and very expensive internet.
everyting was great, esp the location and a very good value -- bfst s/b included as is standard in central europe -- business center, however is a disaster and after several significant problems they fought about charging us for its use -- otherwise, highly recommended

Budapest is separated by Danube river and there is south(Buda) and North section(Pest). This hotel is in Buda section, top of a hill(Castle District) where best attractions are located. You can walk to most sight and will take 20 minutes to walk down to Danube River. Hotel is clean, room has an entrance section, large grounds, quiet and provides great […] service. We upgraded our room for a river view and paid more but it was worth the fantastic view of the river and parliament. Book a river view room from the start. Try to include bkfst in your rate since separate bkft cost is very pricey. There are other eatery very close by. Hotel is worth the cost due to it's situation, there is a fisherman's bastion which is like a storybook castle right behind the hotel. It has most elegant, excellent restaurant as well, you are inside of a castle, huge chandeliers, strolling musicians. I did not see any other hotels of this caliber in that area. There are hop on and off buses that will take you around which you can get on close to the hotel. Mehr

We have traveled to Budapest on four occasions and have stayed at the Hilton Budapest on three of the four trips. The view from our room is incomparable and without peer. The Hungarians have mastered the use of lighting and the view of Budapest from the Hilyon is really something to see at night. Enjoyed staying here quite a lot. The hotel's location at the top of Castle Hill is unbeatable, and the interior is generally very nice -- though you can tell that the rooms look just slightly dated, I think that's really in keeping with the atmosphere and a more "modern" look would not fit in well. The breakfast selection in the morning was quite good. […] The only downside is that you get gouged when paying for WiFi, but unfortunately that's par for the course at most high-end hotels (and the reasonable room rate helped to make up for it). Mehr

Absolutely loved this hotel very comfortable beds and we stayed on the 6th floor facing the church it was the most breathtaking views of the Danube River and Chain Bridge. Located on Castle Hill there is a bus that picks you up and drops you off right on the front corner of the hotel that takes you down to the city. "Dream Location"
We were thrillled to stay in such a romantic location. It also had an easy, convenient bus that in minutes took us to the center of transportation to the whole city. Make sure you get the day or week pass to ride easily around the city. Wonderful breakfast!
"Great location/comfort, service can be better"
Fantastic location as this is really (and controversially) located in the heart of the castle at the Buda side of Buda-Pest. The fisherman bastion beckons at the doorstep of the hotel and bus stops to the metro and to Pest side is conveniently located right next to the hotel too. Breakfast is great with a wide spread of food, and the bar looks very […] decent. But service can be better as required of a 5 star hotel like Hilton - the people at the reception appears to be too busy to smile or make that extra effort to engage you or offer help. (Have met many an enthusiastic receptionist at 4 star hotels that you wish spoke less.) But rooms are comfortable and the impeccable location of the hotel offers an overall good experience. Mehr

The hotel was excellent. Cannot say a bad word about this Hilton. The room, the service, ideal. The location of the hotel is the only issue. Most of the sights in Budapest are on the Pest side. "Great hotel and great location... but the smoke..."
This is a lovely hotel and it exceeded my expectations - good service, nice room, fantastic location, but... they have a smoking lounge just off the main reception and leading to the restaurant and breakfast area so, when the doors open the smoke wafts in to the restaurant and really spoils the dining experience. It's so long since I've been in a hotel […] where smoking is alllowed I was really shocked to see it. Sort that out Budapest Hilton and you'll have a near perfect hotel. Mehr

The location of the hotel, right in the heart of the Castle District takes one backs in time. The view of the entire panorama of the city from the hills of Buda is stunning. Its great for a short stint in Budapest where one gets a feel for the scale of the castle complex. "Good hotel for tourists"
It is located in one of main sightseeing areas and it will take around 20 minutes to get to the downtown using by bus and subway. Overall service is good and I was satisfied with some of friendly, good-looking staff's services.

The Hilton is built on the ground of the castle,with the ancient walls incorporated into the hotel. We had a great rate and booked an executive room, which included its own lounge, concierge, and free food and drinks all day. Room was modern and spacious. "Hilton i Budapest, utsikt över staden!"
Om du ska bo här, se till att betala extra för att få ett rum med utsikt över staden, men det upplysta parlamentet i fonden. Sagoligt snyggt! Hotellet ligger i de gamla kvarteren och allt inom promenadavstånd. Gratis parkering på gatan utanför. Men.. svårt att hitta till om man kommer med egen bil. Man ska in genom bommar med biljetter och köra upp […] på slingrig kullerstensväg. Knapert skyltat, men väl där är det mödan värt. Frukost med "allt man kan begära". Trevliga små restauranger och konditorier utanför dörren..... Mehr

Min samboer og jeg hadde et utrolig flott opphold på Hilton Budapest siste helgen i påsken. Hotellet ligger svært flott til med utsikt over Donau og sentrum. Hotellet og rommene var flotte. Tillatt med røyking i en del av lobbyområdet, men det må nesten forventes i Ungarn. Restauranten til hotellet anbefales også.
Hotel situesur les hauteurs dans tres beau quartier historique et calme. Un peu loin du centre-ville anime mais facilement accessible.

This Hilton hotel is gettinfg old. Rooms are standard. Many other hotels in Budapest are indeed much nicer in terms of comfort and service. My wife and I were shocked with the tag price on still water bottle - offered on top of mini bar at HUG 1990 = EURO 8,50. The view is unique. Much prefer Sofitel ( ex Atrium Hyatt ) on other side of chaine br […] idge. Mehr
