The staff was friendly. The build is older which isn't horrible. The cleanliness was ok. May not be up to some people's standards. I am disgusted with the refrigerator. I didn't even want to put my bottle of wine in it. It was gross. Glad I didn't have anything that HAD to go in it. The stay overall was comfy no more than we were there. The looks of the hotel from the entrance was great! As walked around everything looked good. As I went to my room I heard animals barking constantly. When I entered my room to change my clothing for the night, dog hairs were all on the carpet floor in one area. The toilet ran constantly throughout the night. Overall, the staff and hotel were nice. I asked for early check-in and the room wasn't ready so they put me in a room that had a jacuzzi (room 219). Very nice. The room was clean. It also had a microwave, refrigerator and a coffeepot w/coffee. The wi-fi was also free and had no password which was great. I noticed a couple of small holes in the bedspread […] which could've come from some other room at some time or another. The alarm clock didn't work at all but the front desk did wake-up calls. This is definitely a place that will suffice if you are looking for just a place to lay your head. The person at the front desk wasn't even excited about their amenities. The room was definately overpriced for what it was. The staff was very unprofessional and not helpful. The ice machine (which was located directly outside the room) was extremely loud. It sounded like a freight train inside the room. I mentioned something to the Front Desk and they just rolled their eyes. The rooms are outdated and not upkept. The caulking […] around the tub was coming out, the jacuzzi did not function properly as half the jets were broken, but each time something was said to the front desk it was "oh really" and that was it. Jacuzzi tub in suite was a surprise...... and it worked! TV is outdated and cable reception was not very good. Unable to watch Thursday Night Football. Room was reasonably clean and bed was very comfortable. Close to Wendover Ave. and shopping areas.

Nice, clean and near Hwy 68 exit on I40. Close to the Paladium where they have movies, eateries, etc. Chop House Grill is close for a fine dining experience.

Only good things to say: They let me stay til Noon and made me coffee. The bad things to say: Found molded food in room fridge, mold in my ice bucket, Jacuzzi was filthy with hair and candle wax, and I waaaaay overpaid!!!

Very unclean, had trouble sleeping. I didnt take a shower because it'd looked like no one had been in, or cleaned the room in at least a month.

We were very well pleased with our stay. The hotel is extremely convenient to High Point University, has ample free parking and the rooms are clean, quiet, up to date and spacious. The free breakfast offers cereal, muffins, danish, coffee and juice and other things. We will be back!

For the rate we paid it was quite satisfactory. Breakfast was OK but all the food was was packaged or prepared off site. Adequate given the rate but far short of what a family with children would need.

The hotel was conveniently located to the location of my work conference. Hotel seems rather old and therefore, could use an update. Mirrors in my room weren't clean even after an overnight stay and housekeeping came in to clean. Bathroom size was nice but tub/shower & shower curtain was not pleasing to the eye. Size of the room with 2 queen beds & […] separate work area was nice, as well as microwave & safe in the room. Would never go back. They censor the internet thru their provider and also it allows a program to install a pop up that appears on your screen. We should be able to watch what we wish in the privacy of the room. UNBELIEVABLE in the land of the free.

The rooms are very spacious and just beautiful!! This is more of a business traveler's setting but it suited our party just fine. Very minimal no fuss kind of place. The breakfast in the morning is very "airport bar"-esque. A lovely place to stay. The location seems a bit remote but it's only about a mile off the interstate and very quiet.

I was in Greensboro for my grandson's college graduation and found the stay at the Biltmore to meet my expectations: location was close to the event while the setting was relaxingly rural. Front desk was informative and friendly. The general appearance of the lobby and the rooms were somewhat upscale. The breakfast served was truly continental and carb […] laden and I suppose ok for a hurried, "need a little something in my stomach before I go breakfast".While I usually enjoy a dip in a pool and jacuzzi, you pay for what you get and really did lack the time to participate in those amenities. The exercise room only had one treadmill and I forfeited the use of it for an early morning walk ,observing the neighbourhood wild life.All in all I found the facility to quite pleasant and accommodating and the price was certainly right. I would recommend a stay at the Biltmore Suites, near Greensboro North Carolina. Mehr

This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel. This trip we actually booked a hotel in a different area and when we went to check in, it was a nighmare. We called expedia and asked to be moved to The Biltmore as we knew it was very nice AND in a SAFE area!! : )

We were going to arrive at the motel, well past check-in time. To make sure we did not loose our reservation, we tried to call the motel for over an hour (from our cell phone, accumalating roaming charges) to let them know we would be there, just really late, due to the our event we were attending running overtime. NO one would answer the phone and […] there was no way to leave a message. I did not have my computer with me, so I could not send an e-mail. We had to get an Expedia representative to call them and relay the message. Having a great time, just wondering where we would be staying overnight, because this was a Martinsville Raceway weekend. Air conditioner didn't work or the remote for the air conditioner didn't work and it was impossible to have staff help. After complaining the third day ( morning and evening ) 1 employee told me to bring remote to front counter to be set up corretly. Once it was done I was told just to go back to room and press start. It still didn't work and no staff […] had ever time to come by room to turn it on. In headborad of bed was an old sock ( not mine ), I told front counter the first morning but it was never removed even though cleaning of room was done twice during my week there. Mehr

Hotel advertised one queen bed for half price of forty dollars. There was a bed which titlted in towards the middle so my husband and I were huddled together in the middle of the bed. Because there was no room for anything but a bed people spilled stuff from the coffee or microwave on floor and there were stains on carpet and nooks were no floor vacuun […] could reach crumbs. Did not see bugs or smell insecticide but woner why there were none. There was no room for chair or to walk in room just bed and short hall. We slept till 9 when house keeping came but since we were there they never cleaned our room. We went for breakfast ten minutes before it ended and it was gone. Our outside room made it possible for me to hear every truck going down highway from 1-4 AM not sure we will stay in high point biltmore again when other hotels offer spacious relaxing clean quiet rooms exercise room and pool for same price including hot breakfast Mehr

Big problems with wireless internet in room which is the biggest complaint. Could not work adequately in my room. Complimentary breakfast left much to be desired. finally, could not find channel for HBO during the week. Change out your TV's, please.

I booked this room for the sole purpose of crashing after a night of partying. The lady at the desk was very nice at time of check in and was very helpful when I had problems with the temperature in my room. Overall my stay here was cool for what it was purchased for.

You get what you pay for. Beds unstable and you can get hurt, the air condition leaks water and it doesn't matter the setting.

I had thought that a name like Biltmore Suites would be a comparable hotel to say Courtyard or Fairfield and Hampton Inn but I was fooled. Room was old and poorly maintained. Towels were dirty or stained. Second day handtowels and washcloths weren't provided - was told housekeeping hadn't finished doing the laundry before they went home - had to wait for them to be washed (and the hotel was nowhere near full!). Room where breakfast was served was full of trash on tables when we arrived. […] Exercise room was a joke - room was hardly big enough to fit the one treadmill! The stay was quiet and nice. I stayed during the week so I guess that's why it was quiet. Staff was nice and friendly. My boyfriend was handicap and even though there was a shower chair. The floors were to slippery for him and he fell while exiting the shower thank god he didn't get hurt. They need to make it more safer for the handicap

Overall experience was fine for the price. Bed comfortable, breakfast good, front desk staff very very friendly & helpful. Only negatives: When I opened the curtains they flew off the rod and little plastic attachments went all over the floor. I picked up as many as I could see, & re-hung curtain, however later noticed I missed several on the floor. […] For the entire trip the pieces remained on the floor never moving --- so much for vacuuming. The window itself was covered in cobwebs & the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The bed and bathroom were clean - most important to me! Referigerator never really got cold. Ice machines on all floors didn't work, but front desk staff was happy to provide ice from their kitchen area. Exercise room was a joke, BUT they did provide access go Gold's Gym down the road - good alternative! Generally good - especially for the price. Mehr

I was initially assigned a room on the third floor of the hotel. When I got off the elevator, the temperature of the air hallway must have been over 90 degrees. When I got into my room, it was even hotter. I turmed on the air conditioning unit and left the room. When I returned about 90 minutes later, the room was just as hot. Finally got moved to the […] second floor where the AC seemed to be working properly. The room was VERY narrow (only about 18 inchec clearance between the foot of the bed and the wall) and long. The bathroom sink is in the kitchenette area in the room itself. The TV (in the first room) is mounted on the wall at a height that forced me to bend over whenever I wanted to get to the window in the room (and I'm onlt 5' 8" tall!). Mehr
