Wir haben ein Nichtraucherzimmer im Juli für eine Übernachtung im Oktober gebucht. Als wir eincheckten war kein Nichtraucherzimmer mehr verfügbar. Das war kein guter Service, wenn man bedenkt, dass wir mit Kind gereist sind. Mit dem Taxi ist man in ein paar Minuten und für 13-15 USD in der Jersery Garden Mall. Wir hatten ein Nichtraucherzimmer bestellt, aber in dem Zimmer war eine üble Altraucherluft und der Aschenbecher stand auch noch auf dem Tisch. Die Entfernung zum Flughafen ist verführerisch, aber ansonsten ist die Lage echt übel, da gibt es nichts, d.h. ohne Auto kommt man nicht weg. MY STAY WAS GREAT. I ENJOYED THE BREAKFAST. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS MISSING WAS A RADIO IN THE ROOM.

if you plan on just sleeping, the room is mediocre. Grateful sheets were clean. Bathroom was nasty... Thank goodness I travel with lysol wipes, there was NO hot water for a morning shower. We were flying out at 6 am so that is the only reason why we stayed here. NEVER AGAIN!!!

There was no hot water in the shower. It was not even lukewarm, but was actively cold. The breakfast was stale and disgusting. The "every 10 min shuttle" took over half an hour to pick me up from the airport. It's worth spending the extra money to stay elsewhere.

The above-bed lights were burned out. The bathroom fixtures were falling apart. The TV picture was fuzzy. The decor was shabby. Surely at the rate I paid they can make a few repairs?

I chose this hotel on price. It's an older run down motel 5 mins from the airport in newark. I really don't know the area as i'm canadian from far west. While my room was tidy, and the sheets were clean. the carpet had that worn in dirt look to it. I would estimate the motel to be at least 30 years old and has never been updated other then maybe the […] sink and toilet. Shower was as clean as could be expected. Towels were provided as well as shampoo and soap and conditioner. It advertises a free continental breakfast but i did not leave much time and could not find anything beside coffee in the morning at the reception desk. The airport shuttle was on time and waiting for me in the morning. (it runs every 30 min, on the hour and half past) It was a new 12 or 15 passenger van. The driver dropped me off at my terminal "c" even though he said it was not his normal drop off point. (i was the only person in the van) There was no cost to the shuttle, he dropped me off beside the taxi area and drove away before i had a chance to tip him anything. Cab fare was average from the airport to get to the hotel. (flat rate) and i tipped him. it's a little out of the way as the driver had to go past it and come back to it after circling around on some residential streets. It's a little tough to get to, but it was VERY quick and easy to leave and get back to the airport in the morning. (6:30am) probably a 3 -5 min drive to the airport and another few minutes winding through the terminals to get to where i wanted to go. Mehr

There was people smoking pot in the rooms and i could smell it in Our room, there was a lot of happy girls around partying, not a good place to stay if you have kids. The bed sheets had white paint on them, the tv remote didnt work, the room looked dirty, i was there for like 30 mins, i went to look for another hotel and then i checked out. This place is decrepit, dirty, and ramshackle. It was almost a bad exaggeration on what a run-down, Joisey establishment would look like. Filthy carpet, hole punched in wall, beaten up furniture, shabby furnishings, dangerously precarious stairs to get to second floor. Only consider staying if you do not want to sleep on the airport floor.

The location close to the airport is the only good thing about this hotel. Yes, and maybe the staff which was at least not unfriendly. But the place is simply crappy. Had an early flight out of Newark and didn't want to stay too far away, so i chose the place. The A/C was almost falling apart, only fixed with duct tape, the tissue dispenser rusty, the […] carpet used and didn't look too clean. Bed/linens were clean though. The complimentary breakfast is served in an unused hotel room which looks simply not clean enough to eat there... All in all an inexpensive place, still too much for the service offered and the not existing cleanliness. Mehr

The people there made my stay present starting with the hotel shuttle. It's an older hotel but very well kept and comfortable.

This hotel is not good for people coming from latin american, there is not restaurant nearby, there is nothing around the hotel, the rooms are old. bathroom are old. etc.

This hotel is in a terrible area. It was absolutely disgusting with cobwebs and bugs on the walls and a large splatter of blood on the floor. The outside was disgusting and we did not even put our bags down before calling a cab to get out of there to go to the Hilton down the road. Don't stay here.

Cheap, no problem hotel when you need a room waiting for a connecting flight the next day. Breakfast and shuttle-bus service included, cheap food with deleviry-service (but within 5 min walkling distance for the sporty ones). Recomanded when you want or need a simple, no problem nights sleep.

This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. I received attitude from the staff and with questions i had i recieved nothing. I would never stay at an econo lodge ever again and am extremly dissappointed in the service i was given.

Where to start? Rooms dirty, bathrooms disgusting, can not believe this place is still in business! Changed rooms twice as 1st was completely and utterly disgusting (im not joking) toilet didnt even flush, heater looked like someone has taken a baseball bat to it. Second room toilet leaked, nothing was clean, heater was so noisy i had to turn it off […] only to find there was something else noisier, the heater from next door sounded like someone banging on the walls.Bear in mind it in on a very busy road, couldnt hear any traffic because of the noisy heaters. Nobody seemed to give a monkeys when i complained saying "oh, sorry we will look into it" then just put some other poor person in my old room! Ended up leaving and just booking into another hotel as couldnt bear the filth / noise / rude staff anymore. Mehr

THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE CONDEMED. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The hotel is in a very bad area. There were drug deals going on outside. Most of the furniture in our room was broken as if there had been a free for all. There was grafitti on the wall of our room. There was a drunk women outside all night who was screaming and pounding on the windows of the room. […] I stayed awake all night. Do not book this hotel. Mehr

good price but the hotel needs to be update the transport to and from the airport was excellent .

We booked this motel because our priority is the proximity to the Newark Airport. Also, they have FREE 24hr Airport shuttle service.. The only thing is, the housekeeper didn't change the pillow cases.

I wouldn't let my dog stay here yet alone me again.

Unpleasant neighborhood. Poor quality hotel. We felt the need to look for bedbugs, and fortunately found none. Mediocre continental breakfast provided in a former hotel room, thus it only accomodated 6 people. We could hardly wait to leave.

Hotel didn't have working internet. Awnings looked run down. Didn't seem clean externally. Really close location to the airport and 24 hr airport shuttle was great for my early flight.

Over all was not to bad not the cleanest or the nicest hotel was fine for a nigth location to airport was great and the staff was very nice. Was nice they took and icked us up from airport several times free of charge no complaints from me..

Everything about this motel stinks. The mattress was one of the worst I have ever slept on - I could feel the very slightest movement of the other person in bed. The water coming out of the sink was a trickle. The housekeeping staff left a full complement of towels only two out of the four days we were there. The room was tiiiny. The breakfast was in […] an empty tiny motel room with one table and six chairs for a motel with at least a hundred rooms and was what a third world country might provide if they were trying to imitate an American motel. But on top of this all, on the third night at 12:30 am our door suddenly opens (fortunately the chain was attached) and a stranger exclaims "there's somebody in here!" On calling the desk the night guy has the stupidity to tell me that he wasn't sure the room was ocupied but he didn't want to call because it was so late. So he gave a key to a total stranger to find out if the room was vacant. Are there stupider people in the world? When I spoke to the manager about this she was totally blase -"These things happen." Close to the airport but far from the city, takes a long long time to get there...or faster with an express bus but quite expensive. Very noisy room, because of airplanes, neighbourood and some strange noises from the roof or walls. No internet in room. Very poor breakfast in a tiny cold room...

Minuses WIFI didn't work. Drapes did not cover window. The condition of the hotel was worn out. The neigborhood was not great. Shower only no bath. Couldn't get heater to work. Pluses Slept well Enough covers to overcome lack of heat. Free parking. Close to Airport. Inexpensive I would only recommentit to someone with an early flight and who was cheap […] like me. Mehr

I must say when I first saw this hotel/motel as an option it was very appealing. They had complimentary shuttle from the airport, complimentary breakfast, it was close to our destination and the price was very reasonable. However, when we got there it was not desirable at all...it was more like a run down motel. The room was in desparate need of renovations; […] the tub had a rubber mat that covered a worn out black tub that felt like I was going to fall through it, I heard what sounded like ticking or dripping noises all night, there was visable rust in the bathroom, broken light fixture in the bathroom, missing screens on the AC/heater wall unit, unknown hair in the sheets, to name a few. The breakfast was OJ, coffee, tea with like warm water, partially frozen bagels, and cereal. The breakfast was provided in one of the empty rooms with a table in middle of the room. The staff was accomdating with an iron and ironing board. If you just want to lay your head somewhere for the night, thi sis the place to go. However, I would recommend that you spend the extra $20 or so dollars and stay somewhere else where you are not afraid to touch anything without a glove! My recommendation: READ THE REVIEWS! Mehr
