Holiday Inn Downtown - Lincoln - Lincoln

Good overall experience. Parking is limited for checkin. Went to garage to park for check in, but marked full, so had to drive around block and try again. Staff was very nice for checkin. Easily and centrally located.

The best thing about this hotel was the location. For the price they should have a continental breakfast. The bed was clearly very worn and I was falling off of the side I was on. It was clean and the staff were nice.

This was a great hotel for downtown Lincoln, it was within walking distance to several bars and restaurants. However, when we booked on hotels.com it stated there was an indoor pool AND spa tub...no spa tub to be seen! The indoor pool was also VERY crowded (this is a kid-friendly hotel). If you're looking for an intimate hotel, go elsewhere! The parking […] garage was also horrible. We stayed here during the state basketball tournament, and I understand that kids are there celebrating and having fun; I do not have a problem with that. What we endured was completely RIDICULOUS the kids across the hall from us were incredibly noisy until 3:30 a.m. We made numerous phone calls to the front desk to just have someone come up and make […] them shut their room doors, but never once did I hear or see anyone from security or management. It was offered to us to move at around 1:30 a.m. but not really feasible to pack up 3 small children and walk through all of the trouble makers in the middle of the night. After a night of no sleep I got up to take a shower to find out that the shower head in the handicapped bathroom (mind you not one person in my family has any sort of physical disability) was pointing at the ceiling with no way to fix it besides taking it down and holding it while trying to shower. We did then move to a new quiet room once Kyle the daytime manager came on duty. Kyle was excellent and he deserves KUDOS for getting us off of that floor. The only bad thing in our new room was finding someone elses dirty washcloth hanging from my shower curtain rod. I do appreciate what Kyle did for us and Friday night was a much better night of sleep. The night management staff needs to get some backbone so they can deal with disruptive guests such as those we encountered. It's hard to believe that nobody even came to check out waht all of the commotion was on the 3rd floor. We awoke to broken chairs in the hallway (which explains what all of the banging against our wall was ALL night long), broken pictures and broken out lights. I hope that your hotel is being reimbursed by the school for all of your property that was destroyed, and I think I would ask those folks to write letters of apology to the guests who had to share the 3rd floor with them. I get around the big USA, I haven't ever met Nicer people at the front desk, at one point I just walked in and they were BOOKED, they spent the time to find another location for me and gave me a ride !

Perfect location for visiting the Campus. Lots of good restaurants. Our room was spotless.

This refurbished Hotel is at the entrance to Haymarket and all it's great restaurants and galleries and the little jewel, the railroad park. It's an easy walk to the university and the Capitol building. Lincoln at it's best!

I awoke on Easter Sunday morning to only cold water in the room. I could not get any hot water so I called down to the front desk. I realize it was a Sunday morning (about 6:15 a.m.) but I was told the engineer would not be in until 7:00 a.m. to check it so I should wait until 7:30 a.m. to shower if I wanted hot water. When checking out, I once again, […] addressed the cold shower with the front desk and never received an apology either time. I also was not offered any compensation for my inconvenience. Not how I wanted to start my holiday! However, the remainder of the stay was pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable and most of the staff was friendly. The parking garage is a little inconvenient. Also, upon check in, the price per day for parking was $1.00 greater than listed on the website which was not a big deal to me but should be correct. I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown in Lincoln Nebraska. While there the pipes in my bathroom were leaking, the cosmetics of the sink itself was not presentable (having one piece of the granite missing, Exposing the bare wood. I was placed in a Handicap room which i am perfectly fine with, but when I showered it would not run into the drain […] like the designer had planned but you have a constant stream of water that would pool in the middle of the bathroom. My other major complaint is that I was able to hear the elevators going up and down all night. Yes i was near the elevators, but i would like some isolation in the room so i am able to have a good nights rest. I am paying for a relaxing stay for the price it would of been cheaper for me to stay at the Embassy Suites with the Valet service. Honestly. not my greatest experience with Holiday Inn and will probably be my last!!! Mehr

Very convenient location and reasonably priced

Staff was friendly and courteous. Unfortunately got bumped from a 2 double bed room to a 1 king bed room because booked it through Hotels.com. It was state basketball tournament and apparently if an outside source is used to book your room, you can be bumped. Hotel sits right in haymarket so great for dining and drinks.

Just go and live there, no doubt.

The Holiday Inn in downtown Lincoln is a wonderful place to stay. It is close to numerous restaurants, the NU stadium, a movie theater and the wonderful Hay Market shopping/eating area. Hotel was clean, and very close to the airport. Unfortunately there were not that many places open the evening to dine. The front desk was understaffed and there was a wait each time I arrived at the desk. The staff was unknowledgeble about the surrounding area, however did have maps.

Great locations for those visiting Lincoln. Newly remodled rooms that were clean. The weekend we were there was very busy but we didn't get lost in the shuffle. Would reccomend for anyone coming to town for a Husker game, visiting the UNL campus or just to visit friends. It is a great location - close to stadium, campus, bars and resturaunts.

Room was great actually stayed and extra day, but there was a wedding at the hotel and we were woken up by another guest at 2am and kept up by room service when they dropped a tray of dishes at 2:30am.

I like to have a breakfast bar because that is convienient when we are in a hurry in the morning to get going.
