Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht, ruhig und doch sehr zentral gelegen. Das Hotel war sauber und ordentlich, leider wurde bei unseren 2 Übernachtungen nach der ersten Nacht wohl vergessen unser Zimmer zu reinigen, ok gibt schlimmeres, man kann ja die Handtücher auch 2x benutzen und da man in Vegas eh erst spät zurück ins Zimmer kommt, gehts halt mal in ein ungemachtes Bett. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel wird zur Zeit umgebaut, wir haben davon aber nichts mitbekommen, das Zimmer war schön ruhig. Da man direkt in der Freemont Street wohnt, kann man, sofern man nicht auf den Vegas Strip möchte, sein Auto stehen lassen und auch mal ein paar Drinks mehr zu sich nehmen. Die Freemont Street hat sich noch ein wenig den ursprünglichen Charme und Charakter von Vegas erhalten, es gibt hier sogar noch einige Casinos, wo man noch mit Münzen in den Slotmachines spielen kann. Wer mehr als nur 1-2 Nächte in Vegas verbringt, sollte sich diesen Teil der Stadt unbedingt auch mal anschauen, es lohnt sich. Wir würden beim nächsten Vegas Aufenthalt in diesem Hote auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten

DAs Hotel hatte Top-Zimmer und kostenlose Parkplätze. Wir waren unter der Woche dort. An den Wochenenden geht hier die Post ab. Die Swimming-Pools waren auch spitze, nur die Musik war uns persönlich zu laut. Auch im Casino und in der Lobby war es zu stark heruntergekühlt und einfach laut.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Hotel wurde vollständig renoviert; alles sehr sauber, freundliches Personal; wir hatten auch das Frühstück gebucht, gute Auswahl und ausreichend, leider muss man auch als Hotelgast nach 8:30 Uhr auf einen freien Tisch etwas warten; bis zum Strip sind es nur ein paar Autominuten; wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.
"Great place to stay on the strip!"
This hotel is begining to show its age even in the remodeled strip view rooms. Nice rooms and comfortable beds but just feels dated. We chose to stay here due to its central location on the strip and the rates were reasonable. A couple of the elevators were scary to say the least with their popping and creaking. "Absolutely NO customer service"
If all you are looking for is a no frills, convenient location and you will not complain or have ANY expectation of customer service, then the Flamingo is the place for you. Do not expect anything to be addressed or resolved in a timely, efficient or effective manner. Besides waiting several hours to check in, rooms not being ready until after 6 pm, […] and a complete hassle when my brother tried to check in with my parents but could not because his name did not appear on the reservation, the service at several of the bars was less than stellar and one of the exit signs on floor 19 was hanging by wires from the ceiling. Never again would I waste any money or time at the flamingo! Mehr

"great locale and pool"
Birthday trip to the Flamingo was perfect. Excellent location on the strip and the hotel/casino condition is pretty good for the price. Pool is awesome.

The Flamingo was sooo nice!!! We were in one of the renovated rooms and it was gorgeous. We loved everything about the hotel. It's on a great spot on the strip, we got decently priced late night room service, & the pool was ridiculous!!! I can't wait to come back.
"Central Location on strip"
there were 5 of us. the Hotel gave us ajoining rooms which was very nice. Like the central location of the Flamingo on the strip easy to walk in both directions. We all had a great time.

"Affordable hotel on the strip with grea amenities."
The hotel had comfortable beds and the service was pretty good. No carpet in the rooms, and the hallways were always full of folded runner rugs and dirty dishes. The beds don't have comforters on them. They only have the thin under blankets that most places have under the comforter as well as sheets and a decorative throw cover. It looks like a comforter […] but is only 2 feet wide and not designed to cover you up. I've seen that in the last 3 casinos I've stayed in recently. I'm not sure what that is about, but I got cold in the middle of the night. Always ask for an extra blanket if you see that. The pool is very busy and it's hard to find chairs, but it is an amazing pool with food servers and a full bar. Pool was very clean, had a waterfall, and a separate pools for kids/families. Mehr

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your kind consideration. Shortly after I arrived, I learned that my father had died, and had to immediately return home. Despite the "no-cancellation" terms of my 7-night registration, both you (hotels.com) and the Flamingo were very understanding, and I was issued a credit for the 6 nights I couldn't use.

Hotel room was dirty. Old linen was left in the bathroom, melted ice in the ice bucket. Carpet was filthy in the hallways. View from hotel room was construction site with trucks backing up and hammering first thing in the a.m. Check in line was extremely long.
"Tired old bird"
Though our room (one of the recently renovated ones) was reasonably nice, the hotel itself was not. Getting quite shabby. The whole place reeked of smoke. The check in process was horrendous (an hour and a half wait to get to a counter!!) The advertised pools and water slides were all (bar one) closed to under 21 year olds. Definitely avoid.

Dude, the flamingo needs some work! There are also rooms there that are so far from the elevator, its absurd.
The hotel is very run down. The workers began scraping the floor above our heads at 6 am, which subsequently set off the fire alarms not once, but twice. We were accosted by the sales desk people every time we walked by from our room. Our friend's room was renovated, which consisted of cheap vinyl flooring. That did not include the broken and hanging […] light switches and shoddy looking bathroom. This costed them an extra amount of $. Mehr
Customer service was atrocious from the time I checked in throughout. Very disappointed with condition of renovated part of hotel, too. Property is in dire need of better management.
"excellent location, great view"
We stayed at a Luxury Go View Room and it was well worth it. We watched the Bellagio's fountain right from our room window! The hotel's location is excellent, you can easily walk up and down The Strip. The check-in line was a little long, though, but everything else after that was a breeze.
"Nice location but that's about it"
Check-in took 45 min of waiting in line. Our "upgraded" room did have a view of the strip but was very cheaply done...lipstick on a pig. Although it was a non smoking room when we first entered it smell like someone had smoked a whole bale of weed... No way to open a window so ran the in room air which must be piped in directly over the craps table […] because the room then smelled like an ashtray. The stained mildew-y carpet hallway was a breath of fresh air compared to our room. I think my eyes are still bloodshot. Mehr

Exellent, its close to everything, elevator is close to the exit door. not long way to walk.close to the bus stop and its on the strip area.
"Margaritaville"
the Margaritaville casino was a lot of fun, but restrooms need to be closer. When playing the tables a 15 minute walk to a restroom it too much.
"Stay elsewhere"
Thsi hotel has really gone down hill. The rooms are showing thier age, rust on the bathroom fixtures etc.. They charge $10 a day to use the gym. There are no good shops or restaurants in the hotel. The hookers in the lobby were propositioning us even when we were with our spouses. I would pay rather pay more and stay in a place that is cleaner, and […] has better restaurants. Mehr
It was a great place but we could not sleep at all because of all the noise around 7am in the morning they were so loud it was horibal no sleep the hole time we were there because of the construction goin on!!!
The Flamingo did not have my room I reserved and then the room they sent me too was supposed to be remodled, it was falling a part unacceptable. When we got a room it was satisfactory and we was going to stay another night, they wanted to charge 4 times the price becauase they were almost sold out according to the desk people. Hotel service was awesome. Got an upgraded room because ours wasnt available. Hotel was very busy and loud, perfect for the party crowd. Perfect location to walk the strip too. It also has the popular Margatitaville in the hotel. Had lots of fun!
"The Flamingo - Perfect location on the strip!"
My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenage boys) stayed at the Flamingo for 2 nights over spring break. The Flamingo is in a great location, right at the center of the strip. It's easy walking distance to most anything you'd want to see and there is a stop for the Deuce right in front of the casino. Our room had 2 queen beds which were quite comfortable. […] The view was quite spectacular as we were on the 27th floor and had floor-to-ceiling windows. The walls were a bit dirty, but we weren't planning to do anything on the walls, so that wasn't too much of a concern. My only complaint was the bathroom. I know the Flamingo is an older hotel as far as Vegas goes, but there were water issues while we were there. One of my showers was cold, which I was not happy about. Although they were doing water maintenance during our stay so that could be why I ended up with a cold shower. The shower head was terrible and the ceiling in the shower was quite low. I'm 5'6" so it was fine for me, but my husband and boys are all over 6 feet tall so they had to stoop a bit when showering. Overall staying at the Flamingo was a great choice for us. "DIRT and chaotic"
We had a reservation for 2 nights. When we saw how dirty a friends room was and how poorly maintained (wall paper loose at seams) and at least one hours wait to sign in or out, we left and went to another hotel. Would NEVER consider the Flamingo again.

"Flamingo - just takes 1 thing"
Overall the hotel is nice. The service people friendly. The room is good sized. The amenities are good. My biggest complaint was they did construction right above my room at 6 am. When I called to complain, they said there was nothing they could do. That was very disappointing. For a very good stay until this point, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
"POOL"
IT WAS UNFORUTNATE THAT YOU HAVE TO SIT ON THE CONCRETE IS YOURE NOT AT THE POOL AT 9 AM IN A LONG LINE TO OBTAIN A CHAIR FOR YOU AND YOURE SPOUSE. OUT OF THE FOUR DAYS TO THE POOL, ONLY ONE TIME DID I SIT IN A CHAIR. MAYBE THE MGR. OF THE POOL SHOULD SIT ON THE CONCRETE WITH HIS GROUP AFTER PAYING FOR THIS SERVICE.

Service at the pool area was not as expected. For everything that was free before, you have to pay now or its not available.
"Flamingo Hotel , LV , NV."
Overall experience was above average. Upon arrival there was a 'Disney Land' like line for registration. Thank goodness for the seldom used automatic check in/out counter. Went to that instead and checked ourselves in quite quickly. One of our main reasons we chose to stay in this hotel was for the kid pool and slide. It was sure fun when we tried […] it on Sunday. We were sorely disapponted when we went back on Monday to find it CLOSED. Their kiddie pool and slide is only open on the weekends. It will be open 7 days a week following Memorial Day. Our room was on the cheap side so we weren't expecting much. Do yourself a favor and SKIP their Buffet, food was over priced and average to below average in quality. Tried their sushi and couldn't even finish it. The rice was completely dry. Mehr

1) Check In time was Horrible - 2 hours 2) The hallway carpets were in poor condition with rolls in them 3) The vending machines were hit or miss with the right selection on our floor 4) Poor Customer Service in the Craps area 5) Too loud of music as you enter the playboy/margaritaville entrances 6) Cold food at the buffet for $22 7) good desert choices […] at the buffet tho 8) no nightlife/dance place in the hotel 9) area around the hotel was shady 10) close to the Hash House - Highly recommend Mehr

This hotel is great. It's older than some other hotels/casinos on the strip but it's centrally located and very reasonably priced. The rooms, courtyard and pools are nice and there are dining options for any time during the day or night.

"Roll-away bed not good"
I requested 2 queen beds with my reservation, when my party arrived the only had a smoking 2 queen beds available or one non-smoking queen bed; they had to get a roll-away bed for the minor child. Not happy about that at all.

"Las Vegas Flamingo, better options around"
Major problem is the insufficient reception procedure (check-in/check-out/getting information). After a long and sleepless journey from Europe it is horrible to wait in a long line for 1.5 hours simply for checking-in. And I did not believe the explanation that some of the staff just got sick!. I saw so many people waiting the next days too... then […] we got a room the said was an upgrade (was a long way to go there as well). But it had only one big bed for us (4).... so we had again to organise another room. got to bed eight hours after arriving in Las Vegas!!! As compensation (I thought) they said that we get complementary some $ a day to use in some restaurants. Next day they said this is not possible. and that breakfast that we already had paid with the room (through hotel.com) is only for two people and not four. More of that: breakfast that seems to be paid is not paid: it is at a specific time, at a specific place (where you have to find out first), and it is only a small amount that is paid.... All in all: hotel might be okay...okay to sleep or go to the casino. May be luck was not on your side....To get information you have to invest a lot of time..!!.Next to the garden was construction activity nearly day and night! I did not see any advantage for the kids...Go to other places around the Flamingo! They also look much nicer and interesting inside! Mehr
