I've been to this hotel many times before in the same location of the hotel and this time my room was infested with spiders! It would be nice also if the rooms came with refrigerators or a microwave. I would of expected it would being that it is the Hilton.....

If you are staying in the area and traveling all about the Bay Area, this is a great location. However, it's not the best neighborhood. Aside from that it was a great spot to stop for the night.

I would have expected to find a refrigerator and possibly a microwave in a Hilton. Easter Brunch was very pricey. It would have been nice. Otherwise it met our needs.

Room is small, Hallway carpet is dirty, Have to pay for internet, No cable, No refrigerator, Music is loud from the bar. You can find better hotel for the price you pay at this hotel. We checked out 3 hours after We checked in. It was terrible.

It was really nice. I had a garden room and it was a perfect getaway from home. It was karaoke night at the ginger bar and grill where we had good drinks with friendly people. Room was clean. One of the lights was about to die and kept flickering at times. Loved the balcony with table and chairs! I was very pleased with my stay and will be staying there […] again!!!! Mehr

I was very disappointed at the condition of the room at the Hilton Newark, CA. I have always felt comfortable making a reservation at Hilton hotels just based on the name. The name has always meant great hotels. But on February 23, 2012, I stayed at Hilton-Newark Hotel, which was very disappointing. I felt as if I had booked a room in a low-budget hotel/motel. […] The carpet was stained/ nasty (to the point that I did not want to walk without socks), the curtain had holes/was torn, the Desk (ergonomic) chair was so dirty/spotted looked too nasty to even sit in, the toilet paper holder was broken/pulled apart from the wall (so the toilet paper had to be just placed on the sink). Its a shame because the hotel appears to have kept-up the outside/lobby areas/hallways, etc. But the room was definitely a disgusting disappointment which should be brought to Hilton's attention. (I was so thrown off, that I even took pictures) Ive stayed in plenty of Hilton brand hotels, but After my stay at your Newark hotel, I can no longer assume that all Hiltons represent clean/desirable rooms. Hopefully this room doesnt represent the future downfall of Hilton properties. Mehr

Overall everything was great....hotel needs a major upgrade.

My husband and I stayed one night. It happened to be Super Bowl Sunday. We watched game in bar and ate wonderful appetizers. Great service and cocktails. Our room was very comfortable. Hotel is very nice. We will come again

The hotel was in a great location. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! We will definitely stay there again.

The place was easy to get to - right off 880, with one extra turn into the parking lot. It was around many great food places. We went to Claim Jumpers for dinner and Prolific Oven for dessert. Hotel was nice and staff were friendly. Would definitely come back here.

price is too high have to pay extra for: wifi refrigerator microwave

It would be nice if you post on your website something about remodeling your swimming pool from what date to what date, my fiancé and I ware in the bay area for only two days and that weekend was just perfect to jumped on a swimming pool !

I was VERY DISAPPOINTED to find the pool closed. I had planned to relax by the pool all afternoon. I did not see on Hotels.com that the pool was closed or i would not have stayed there.

Hotel is nice but the carpeting could stand to be replaced in several areas of the hotel halls and rooms. But overall, I great place and quiet!

Was a great stay.. Except i didnt like the fact tht my room was all the way in the back of the hotel in the corner away from front desk access and other amnenites...

Exactly what I was expecting. Good service, clean and friendly staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Quiet. Enjoyed my stay. I would recommend to friends.

Carpet was very old with stains everywhere.The furniture was old and damaged.The beds were comfortable and the service was good. Unfortunately this hotel is overdue for a major overhaul as it doesn't reflect a good image of a Hilton chain.

Our stay here was perfect. My husband and I and our two toddlers stayed for the weekend. Their breakfast buffet was awesome!!! They had eggs, French toast, cereal and more. Big selection and the service was great!! The room was clean, beds were super cozy. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

The manager of this hotel was rude and was on a power trip. He acted like he owned the place. Also there were kids running up and down the halls at 11:44pm. Not only did the worthless manager do nothing but neither did their worthless parents.

The room should have a small refrigerator for the guests' convenience. The coffee maker should have regular coffee as well (instead of decaf only).

The amenities, pool, exercise room etc were great. The condition of the bathroom in our room was weak and did not represent the Hilton standard. Needs an upgrade or remodel.

Good hotel! We will come again !!

Stayed overnight while they did some repairs at my house. Great stay... very reasonable (stayed over on Friday night), clean, comfortable, friendly staff, close to the shopping mall.

Hilton Newark Fremont located just down the street from shopping center, great food all around and just a walk across the street from banquet hall. entire wedding party had a great stay.

Dear Hotel CEO, My family and I, recently stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Newark/Fremont located off of ###### Drive, on Saturday February 26th into Sunday February 27th, 2011. My experience was only mediocre with my rating you a 3.5 star out of 5, due to a problem with the toilet running on/off all night and something else I will mention below. It was […] late and I was tired when I discovered the problem. I also didn’t want to awaken my wife with calling downstairs and I figured the problem would resolve itself throughout the night which it did not. Once I did advise the hotel staff in the morning upon check out, they gave me a Movie Voucher for my next visit, good only at that specific Hilton Hotel. Which was o.k. and I would have just preferred maybe a percentage say like 20% off next visit would’ve been a better gesture. None the less, I was more bothered by the next dilemma. Amongst my family and I, we rented over 20 rooms from the Hilton Hotel which generated some income for your hotel and as you and I know, “Referrals” are your greatest compliment for a business. My Family and I attended a wedding across the street that night and we also gave many compliments to the well over 300 (more referrals) in attendance about the Hilton. My Uncle and My Aunt were special guests visiting from out of state and were staying in room ####. I stayed down the hall in room ####. Prior to the noon check out that Sunday February 27th, 2011. Prior to going down the elevator, I overheard my uncles and aunts talking about how my Uncle had left his wallet on the bed by accident and therefore they had just returned within the morning hours to double check the room for its whereabouts. House keeping had already cleaned the room and the Supervisor was notified of the dilemma of the missing wallet. No one seemed to find the missing wallet that morning. Good Hotel

The rooms were extremely clean, up to date, and comfortable. The price vs quality of the hotel was unbelievable. For what we paid, I didnt expect it to be so nice. But even compared to more costly hotels, this was still on par with other expensive hotels.

Very nice place! I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Newark / Fremont area.
