Our room was pretty good. The bed, however, was uncomfortable for my husband. He prefers a soft mattress. Otherwise, it was great for our needs.

We scheduled two rooms for my family. Check in was at 3pm. We arrived at 4pm. They did not have one of the rooms ready until after 6pm. Trying to get ready to get to our friends home nearby was not a good experience. The lady at the desk frazzled and dis-interested in our issue. I will not seek out a Residence Inn in the future.

We stayed in the King Suite, was located right next to a very noisy road, the king suite had a queen bed that tilted inward to the middle, very dated accomodations for a Marroit (small bathrooms, loud bath fan we could hear upstairs) had to unplug the refridgerator - terribly noisy, had a light that was blinking on/off until we notified front desk. […] Got a $100.00 bill for having my small dog, even though they said they accepted pets! I would too, in my house for $100.00 per night! Would never stay again, esp. at that price. For me, a bad deal. My daughter liked it, though. Mehr

I have stayed here before and because it is so convenient I chose the RI again, however I don't feel it's as clean as I would like. The carpet is quite worn and it doesn't look completely clean by the baseboards. The room set up is great and I like having a kitchenette. It could use some updating. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Breakfast was delicious and my room was clean but OH MY GOSH the traffic noise was horrible. Drag racing up and down the main thoroughfare just outside my door. I had earplugs, thank goodness, but even with them in, sleeping was difficult. Also the toilet ran and ran and made loud noises. Hotel was super convenient to hospital, which is why I booked […] it, but I don't think I would do so again, just because I really couldn't sleep with all the noise. Very pleasant, great place if you are staying a week because of the kitchen. Great breakfast with fresh eggs (not greasy) and many choices. Room was very nice, the fold-down bed was a little rough but the king-size was very nice. I would recommend this place and I would stay here again.

Really nice room, nice, soft beds, estra pillows. We had a room with an up stairs and down stairs bedroom. The hotel is close to the university, a drug store, gas stations and many resturants. Our family really enjoyed our stay.

We will use them again. It was very nice and the staff was very polite. The only thing was it was a women's retreat and they had several hundred people to check in and only had two people at the front desk to take on this task. That left no one to take care of persons not with that group and so we had to wait for quite sometime to even tell them we […] were not with the large group. Room was outwardly clean. Found some items (nails) probably left by previous guest in bathroom floor. Guy at desk was real helpful. Searched all over the restaurant (which was closed) for a toothpick for my wife, didn't give up til he found them. Close to hospitals and eating places.

As I have special dietary requirements we chose this hotel because it had advertised kitchen facilities which meant we could shop and prepare our own food. We were staying a week and so went shopping for all the essentials that we would need, and came back to prepare. Incredibly, even though there was a cooker, dishwasher and full fridge, there were […] no cooking utensils! No saucepans, no skillet and not even a sharp knife to cut up tomatoes.We then had to head off downtown to buy a couple. As we would be doing quite a few trips to Tyler, we were looking for a base. The maid service was too slow. We were gone a good portion of the day, and upon our return, late that afternoon, our room still had not been cleaned. The breakfast was very good, and a nice variety...need to extend the hours on the weekend.

This is a great long term stay location. The breakfast and room was wonderful. The staff was very helpful. We did not try out the pool or exercise facilities, but might on our next visit.

This hotel was a terrific value for the ammenties and conveniences it provides. They provide a real breakfast each morning (eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, oatmeal, cereal, etc), as well as dinner each night (example to include hot dogs, chips, salad, etc). Our stay was quite pleasant with easy access to our suite from the parking lot. The courtyard area was well lit which I appreciated coming in after dark. The room was exceptionally clean. I will stay their on my next stay in Tyler.

This is one of the older styles of Residence Inns. It does not look safe but I did not have any issues. Also my room was not cleaned the second day I was there although I was staying for two nights.

I was not happy with this hotel at all.It gave me a feeling of being dirty.The other customers were dirty and very loud and obnoxious at the pool and surrounding area. The room was not what I had expected it to be.I thought since it was a suite the rooms would be divided and it was in fact just one large room.
