Viel schwarzer Granit umhüllt einen im gesamten Hoetltrakt, der sich über 3 alte, aber sehr gut reaturieret Häuser in einer kleinen Seitenstraße nahe Piazza del Popolo ertreckt. Das Hotel ist sehr edel ausgesattet mit viel Marmor und Granit, aber man kommt sich vor wie Gulliver in Lilliput. Viel dunkles Holz und schwarzer Granit, engste Platzverhältnisse. […] Mein Doppelzi zur Alleinbenutzung hatte max. 12 qm, ins Bad kann man sich nur hineinschieben, eine Zumutung. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, ist elegant, ruhig und sauber. Unser Zimmer war klein aber komfortabel, schade nur, das wir ein Fenster in einem Schacht hatten (keinerlei Ausblick) Die Hotelangestellten waren alle sehr nett. Es gab ein reichhatlges Frühstücksbuffet!

The room was absolutely unsatisfactory...there was a big whole in the room and it was tiny. Could barely walk around the bed. Breafast room and food was very good. Lobby and bar was very nice and had live music. I heard there's a nice rooftop bar but I didn't make it....my husband did and he enjoyed it.

Small rooms but good value for money. The hotel is quite central but better for those looking to do some shopping than to visit the main sites and museums. The restaurant/bar on the rooftop is not cheap but has great views and a trendy atmosphere.

The location was great but the rooms were tiny. I have had bigger rooms on cruises. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were decent. If you are not spending much time in your room this hotel is fine. If you dont like tight surroundings with very small windows - this is not the hotel for you....

Great hotel, a block away frop Piazza popolo. Close to high end stores, great safe neighborhood felt confertable walking there at night. Very good breakfast served every morming, friendly staff. The room are small but very nice lay-out.

Everything was really good, breakfast was great. Not the most comfortable bed.

Very helpful staff. Rooms are typically small, but clean, modern, and omfortable. Breakfast was great, and the breakfast staff couldn't be more accomodating. Would definately stay there again.

Front desk personnel were less than helpful and less than knowledgeable about a number of issues. I do not recommemnd anyone use the laundry service based on quality of service ( no starch) and items lost. Again hotel staff not help full and I was over charged 33 Euros. Hold on too receipts and documents.

I start with that , that i recommend that hotel for only the people who the location of the hotel is the important thing fot them . Expect of the location (that was exellent) , the hotel service was good , but the rooms was a disaster ! Our room was unclean , ant it have a water problems -there wasn't a water on the shower ! Check in was a disaster which i understand now but had no idea prior that you must have the right person allocated to a room even though paid for in advance. To be fair the hotel upgraded the room at no extra charge and were more than helpful so thank you for that. That said hotel is lovely,staff very helpful and friendly, and location was excellent. Breakfast […] was good and i would recommend this hotel without hesitation. We were a group of 16 and this was no issue. Rooftop bar is a cool place, not cheap but very cool. Right in the center of great sites and shopping. Room was tiny, but clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was substantial with good service.

Great value for the room, location and service including breakfasts. Very nice little boutique style hotel in a great location, right off Via Del Corso close to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.Only drawback was small quarters and a very very hard bed mattress and pillows...

Great rooms, good service, great location. The rooms are new, recently remodeled, air condition works perfect, and the bathrooms are new and clean. Be careful if the assign you rooms from 516 to 521. They are in another buiding and is unconfortable to come back and forth.

High gloss and dark woods, compact space will remind you of a cruise ship. This was all very nice. Great piano bar and also roof top restaurant and bar was great. Easy walk to all the sites.

We "rolled the dice" when we selected this hotel because our plans changed and the hotel we stayed at for the 1st 5 nights of our trip was sold out. We selected Valadier based upon price, location, pictures & reviews from this website and had a wonderful experience. Great room with very nice details which reminded us of a "W" hotel. Our room was larger […] as we were upgraded, standard rooms that we viewed on the way out were smaller, more like a cruise ship room, but very cute & well decorated. We were traveling with our 15yo daughter & she loved it too. Entire hotel very well appointed with artwork and a sexy vibe. Downside, a bit noisy as it's in the middle of an active neighborhood & shops near the Spanish steps. If you want to sleep late undisturbed, may not be the best choice, but who wants to sleep late in Rome? Also, pricey wi-fi access. Rooftop restaurant outstanding though a bit pricey, one of our best meals in Rome with a great view, good service and very sexy atmosphere. Overall great experience and a really nice way to spend our last night in Rome. Mehr

The staff in the hotel were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you, helping to plan your sight seeing and taxis to the airport nothing was too much for them. The rooms were a bit small but very comfortable and spotless clean. The restaurant food was lovely but the waiters were a bit ditsy but that wasn't a problem as there was plenty of cafes near […] that done great food at great prices. The bar was expensive and at night it was €15 per drink no matter what drink you order even soft drinks and water. Other than that it was excellent. Mehr

Good hotel...decent ambience, friendly staff. Best part is the location - situation right on Piazza del Papolo, most tourist attractions are either a 10-15 min walk away or a short bus ride. Only downside, room size is very small - but hey, you would want to be out in the city in Rome rather than in the room!!

The Hotel Valadier is right in the heart of Rome and is within walking distance of most of the main sights. It more than lived up to expectations and we would definitely go back there again.

This lovely hotel is in a great location, walking distance from Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Warm welcome from all the staff and excellent service. Would highly recommend especially for couples. The only negative we found was the noise from the street and hotel corridor.

This hotel is in an excellant position close to the Spanish Steps and near to the Metro. The room was very compact but spotlessly clean, we were bothered for a larger room which was offered at an extra cost, as visitors to Rome we needed a comfy bed at the end of each day which is what we got. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was not exciting […] but well presented and plenty of it. We recommend the hotel as 'very good value for money'. Mehr

The Valadier is situated in a great location, 5 minutes from the metro (which is great for transfer from Ciampino airport) & 10 minutes from the Spanish steps. Hotel staff are always polite and courteous, the decor is chic & the service is excellent. Hotel was small but very comfortable. The room although small was very clean and attractive. The breakfast was excellent and waitresses very attentive. Great location to get to the main attractions ie The Vatican, Spanish Steps Trevi Fountain I would go back again

belle hotel bien situer, fontaine coliser tout peut se faire a pied. la chambre est petite mais confortable. le restaurent de l hotel est tres jolie mais coute une fortune, pour une repas moyen rien d extra .

Très décevant. Chambre et salle de bain minuscules, très chaudes. On se serait cru dans un wagon de train couchette. Bien situé cependant avec un personnel appréciable et un petit déjeuner très correct.

For å være sikre på å rekke vielse i den norske ambassaden, hadde vi bestilt hotellbil på flyplassen. Den kom aldri. Framme på hotellet blir vi møtt av en resepsjonist som trakk på skuldrene. Deretter fikk vi en juniorsuite som luktet badebasseng. Vi fikk tilbud om en annen som hadde vindu ut mot hotellets durende ventillasjonsanlegg. Forholdene i resepsjonen […] var kaotiske. Samtaler med resepsjonisten ble ustanselig avbrutt av at han tok inngående telefoner eller lot andre gjester bryte inn. Først andre dagen fikk vi et tilfredsstillende rom. L'Hotel ha un'ottima posizione, in pieno centro, e la disponibilità degli operatori è massima. Stanze un pò piccole e super calde. Abbbiamo " sofferto" il caldo pur con i termosifoni spenti tanto che, poi, abbiamo dovuto cambiare stanza ( più vecchia ma decisamente più fresca). Sicuramente torneremo ma chiedendo già una stanza più ampia.

Läget är perfekt. Gångavstånd till de flesta sevärdheter och shoppingen runt hörnet. Frukosten var toppenbra och hotellet var fräscht. Loungebaren mysig. Rooftop-restaurangen hade modern, ganska dyr meny. Rummen var små men mysiga och rena. Det enda negativa var duschen som var minimal.

Vi bodde på hotellet i tre nätter. Jag hade bokat ett standardrum, vilket vi fick, utan fönster men väldigt snyggt och stylat. Allt var fint, sängen bra, frukosten mycket bra buffé med allt man kan önska sig efter mitt tycke och jag är kräsen. Lite oljud på morgonen men det får man ta om man bor centralt. Rent o fräscht hotel med serviceinriktad och vänlig personal, bra frukost med tiramisu till efterrätt :) .trevliga kvarter, nära shopping.

Un hötel très bien placé, proche du centre historique de Rome (bcp des monuments peuvent être joints à pied .Arrêt de bus à 200 m). Chambre très propre, petit déjeuner en buffet, personnel très attentif. Deux restaurants dans la rue qui peuvent être bruiants, cela dépend de l'emplacement de la chambre.

Recently visited Hotel Valadier and stayed there for nine nights. Must say we absolutely loved this hotel. It is situated in a very nice area close to Piazza del Popolo and within easy walking distance from Colosseum, Palatine, and Forum Romanum. The building is from the 17th century, and the interior decoration is tasteful and inviting. Our room was […] rather small, and the aircondition dripped water ever and anon, but the hotel staff - especially the ones responsible for serving breakfast - was absolutely wonderful in every way, which more than made up for this. If you are looking for a centrally-located, beautiful hotel with friendly, professional, and helpful staff, this is clearly the place to be. Very highly recommended. Mehr

Hotellets läge är perfekt för den som vill ströva runt i kvarteren run Piazza de Popolo. Ett kvarter med shopping, restauranger av klass och folkliv. Hotellets personal är vänliga och talar förståelig engelska. Det rent på rummet och väl fungerande aircondition. Något ljudligt på nätterna med folklivet runt omkring. En något välsorterad frukost med […] bra service. På hotellets tak finns en mycket trevlig bar och restaurang med härlig utsikt över takåsarna i någon riktning. Ett bra val för turism och är man på väg till ett arbetsmöte påföljande dag, kanske ett rum högre upp i hotellet är att föredra med hänsyn till folklivet. Mehr

Suosittelen ehdottomasti! Palvelu oli loistavaa - laukunkantajat ja kaikki. Myös aamupala oli erittäin hyvä. Huone oli hieno, siisti ja tilava (ainakin tämä perhehuone). Ainoastaan sänky oli hieman kova ja täkkiä ei ollut sängyssä.

The Good: Clean rooms, very friendly staff, clean rooms and super breakfast open until 10.30! The Bad: Need a madras! The new ones they had were made out of stone. The noise form the downstairs, prostitute & John overpriced bar, had enough base to rock the hotel from the ground floor to my room on the fourth floor. This combined with what seemed like […] an all night restaurant outside the hotel, left me desperate for sleep, and I am a sound sleeper. Mehr

Stayed 4 nights with my wife late november, in this clean, serviceminded and well situated hotel. Chilly temperatures outside did not bother us at all, as the room temperature was still good. Had room on 5th floor, in towards the backyard, with a pretty nice balcony. Balcony without much view though. Didnt really figure out the TV though, but didnt […] matter cause it's all in italian anyway. The location would be even more attractive during summer period, as this is very clos to the Borgia-park. It is at the "nicest" end of via del Corso, with high-end clothes and antiques very close. A 15 minute spectacular and picturesque walk along the river Tevere will take you to the Vatican. The breakfast was good, with hot scrambled eggs and sausages as well as danish pastry. Of course also juice and all necessities for a good start of the day. The staff take orders and serve all kinds of coffee at the tables, very nice. Be aware when you go to get smashed at the rooftop-bar, as the bill might soar even higher than the bar itself. Great drinks though, very high end place. Would go back for sure, anytime. Although I bet next time we'd have to pay twice the money... Mehr

Hotellet har vært pusset opp med masse flotte detaljer, men virker som vedlikeholdet av disse ikke er på topp. Speil i taket på soverommet er nok for de spesielt interessert. Frokosten var ok. God beliggenhet.

The location was great, with walkingdistance to "everything". The staff was polite, friendly and in general very proffesional. We expeted the room to be quite small since it after all is an european metropol, but it was even smaller than expected. The standard of the room was however good. It could have done with a bit better lighting, and it was a […] little dissapointing that the aircondition only had on/off setting, which was so cold that we would have gotten a cold if we slept with it on.
