La Quinta Inn Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport - Tempe

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Autobahn(Highway) und nahe am Flughafen und ist entsprechend laut.

We needed a bed and bath for an overnight stay. Close to Sky Harbor, easy access for friends to pick up for visiting. Not cloes to much on foot. Thankfully we are not large people. Beds were fine, bathrom (shower, tub and toilet) was VERY SMALL. Non-slip safety feature on bottom of the tub was stained and looked unclean. Otherwise, room was clean. Breakfast […] bar sufficed ofr aour purpose. NICE patio and pool area. Both clean and well mainatined. Some of the door numbers were just taped on the wall. Quiet, even though close to airport. Free shuttle to and frm airport on tiem and convenient. Super reasonable price for a quick stay. Mehr

We checked in about 10pm and the desk agent was very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Don't remember his name but he was a pleasure to walk in to for check in.

Large room, comfortable bed, well furnished. Good breakfast selection. Attractive courtyard with nicely furnished sitting area, very nice small pool and deck. Prompt shuttle service, close to airport, efficient checkin/out. Denny's restaurant 2 min. walk. Set in industrial park, not so nice for scenic walking. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was just what we needed--close to the airport, clean, comfortable, reasonable, and with a shuttle in time for an early morning flight.

I had read the reviews and decided to stay at this hotel due to a late flight. Would not recommend or stay here again.

definitely not luxurious but fine for having a place to sleep in between activities. Very convenient to airport. Breakfast area VERY small.

Close to everywhere we wanted to go. Very nice rooms

The hotel was old but adequate.

i had a confirmed reservation for a non smoking room. By 900 pm the room was still not ready for check in. When we finally made it to the room, it was a smoking room that had been chemically sprayed. It was so bad, even the hotel clerk showing us the room, started to cough--it was totally unsafe and uninhabitable. Other people checking in late were […] also told they would have to wait, because they didnt have enough cleaning staff. We cancelled the reservation and went to the Quality Inn Airport, about one mile away--far superior. Mehr

I was looking for basic accommodations for a short stay in the Phoenix area and thought this hotel would meet my needs. Although the staff was friendly, the maid service was inconsistent. The bed and linens were fine, but the bathroom and bath towels were terrible. There was even black mold on the cheap plastic shower curtain. There must be better choices […] in the area and I would think twice before staying at a La Quinta again. Mehr

I found the inn to be comfortable and restful. Other than the carpet's appearing to need additional vacuuming, the room and bathroom were clean and the beds comfortable. I was not there over a meal time and did not take advantage of the breakfast, so I cannot comment on it. The shuttle drivers were friendly and dropped me off at the light rail. Did'nt stay in room all day, just walked in to leave luggage, bathroom and we were off. Came back about 6 hrs later, went into bathroom and slipped on wet floor.Bathroom floor was flooded. Called front desk, they sent someone to look at situation. Water leak coming from toilet water line. Person was nicw, cleaned mess up,but could not fix it. There […] were no more rooms (double non-smoking) available. There were 3 of us. So a small garbage can was put there to catch water. Last time we stayed at a La Quinta we had the same problem. Mehr

We made this reservation at the spur of the moment. We wanted something reasonably priced with a pool. We were very pleasantly surprised at the accommodations we received for the low price. Close to the airport. Shuttle service was prompt and friendly. This was no 5 star hotel but a good value at the price.

This hotel was perfect for a quick overnight stay while traveling across the country for a move. It was easy to find, clean, and comfortable. The area felt safe and it was quiet. One great benefit was that it was pet friendly.

We stayed here while on our way to and from Hawaii from the Gulf Coast. Though we crashed there only a few hours, it was a pleasant surprise. William at the front desk was very efficient and helpful. The free shuttle helped out greatly. The breakfast was ample and supple. It is very close to the airport but not noisy. I used the free lobby internet […] to do airport check-in. Mehr

Would definitely recommend this hotel. Safe, clean, quiet, close to airport. No complaints.

The hotel staff was impatient and not very friendly or helpful. Was VERY dissapointed in this hotel.

Our stay was for the most fine. there were a few issues. The TV in our room was dead, the clerk was ok with our switching the room. The card in the lobby had the hotel phone number, but no phone would reach it, just "your call did not go through" from the automated operator response. We had to take a cab instead of using the shuttle-there are some CREEPY […] cab drivers in the area. It took a while to find one we felt safe with. Good friendly staff and a comfortable bed were what we found, but FIX the phone number on the business card in the lobby!!!! Mehr

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would recommend to anyone. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the pool was clean and refreshing, and had restaurants close by. Would stay here again without question.

I had to change room's 3 times. 1 had no fan...2 had no pillow's. 3 was ok.....never stay again. Breakfast was sparce but.............shuttle service was great!

The shuttle was exlent and ran on time.

I was surprised that the hotel seemed well kept so felt comfy about staying there. The maid service was horrible. All they did was make beds....blah.

Our room was very clean and nice. No microwave, though there is one in the lobby. Breakfast was a notch above basic -- waffle makers are always good. For the price, I would stay there again. The only glitch we had was when they were short on maid service one day and our room was never cleaned. They were giving 10% discounts to everyone who had this […] issue, but since we were pre-paid through hotels.com, they could not give us a discount. :( Mehr

Knowing that I was booking a lower end hotel near an airport, I wasn't expecting all the bells and whistles you might from a higher quality hotel. However, I've never, and I mean never, had such rude service from front desk staff in my life. The young man (Chris?) was absolutely rude and acted like he couldn't be bothered with answering questions regarding […] the surrounding area or how to access the included wi-fi. Mehr

Overall I think this hotel is OK but I have to say the bed is quite uncomfortable. The cleanliness of the room at a quick look was fine but digging around you would find trash not pickup up from under the bed (tissues, water bottles, etc). The shower was extremely small and not a lot of pressure coming out of the shower head.

These guys were friendly, accommodating, service-oriented. The room was nice and pretty clean except the bathroom which was clearly not clean. The breakfast was good and everything else was fin. My overall experience was great.

We stayed at LaQuinta the night before our flight and left our car in the parking lot. The room was nice, shower great, thick towels, decent breakfast. Cons: 3 sets of towels for 4 people. I expect we could have picked up a 4th set at the desk. The only problem was when we returned at the end of our vacation. We called from baggage claim for shuttle […] pickup. After 45 min. and a 2nd call to the hotel the shuttle driver finally arrived. The waiting spot is a concrete island between 6 lanes of pavement with a bit of shade. My grandchildren were red faced and showing signs of heat stroke before we went into the airport to wait. Mehr

It's a good place to rest from a taxing travel especially during hot summer days. I've checked in to La Quinta several times in a row with friends. Everyone one of us appreciates its condition and affordability.

The staff was great, the room was pretty okay, clean as expected. The bedding was even decent--way better than you would expect for a hotel of this price. Breakfast was the usual continental fare--at least you didn't have to leave to go eat, that is a bit thing for me. However, one peek in the bathtub could leave you screaming in fear. It was a DISASTER! […] It looked as if it had never been cleaned. It was chipped, rusty and just all around gross. I placed a towel in the bottom before I would even step in. It was very sad to see this because the entire rest of the hotel was just great!! Mehr
