Sehr zufrieden trotz nebeliger kalter Augustwitterung. Das Zimmer im Eck des Gebäudes ist etwas schlechter zugänglich als alle anderen. Zimmer sind sehr sauber, Frühstück ist gut, inkl. Pancakes.

Good Motel for the price, Mattress a bit saggy. Great Vietnamnese restaurant close by. Staff very friendly.

All of us got bed bugs bites....and there no internet. They claim any Apple's does not get any connection, they don't know why....

The Comfort Inn is a fine value for the money--comfortable bed, quiet, polite service, less than 10 minutes from Cannery Row.

Our room was small, but clean. The property was attractive and well kept. The plants and flowers were beautiful. It is right across from a forested park and old neighborhood, but also walking distance to the big mall (with Pottery Barn, Wms Sonoma, Macy's et al). It is not an easy walk to downtown, but doable. Our room had nice new carpet, but the bedding […] had about reached its limit. We got a good rate, had a pleasant stay, and would be happy to stop by again. Handy to the freeway, Del Monte and Pebble Beach.

Clean rooms and good service. Great option for the price.

Newly renovated, friendly staff, nice breakfast.

Breakfast was a good value but that's about it. Rooms are super small, beds are tiny, no room in bathrooms and way over priced all though it was during the golf tournament even though that's not why we were there.

Great location off the 1. Reasonably priced (compared to surrounding places), but still pricey for what it is. The walls are VERY thin; could hear EVERYTHING going on next door and outside. Very clean room. Nice bed. Clean Towels and Sheets. Bathroom was clean and "worked" Would go there again if on a budget.

Had a great stay. The location was perfect for seeing things in Monterey and Carmel. The breakfast got us of to a good start to the day.

The service was great and the roon comfortable & clean. I would definately stay here again when in town.

Comfortable beds, clean room, plenty of towels & a nice outdoor pool. Room was a little small for a family of 4, but it worked for one night. Good bargain.

Price was good. Location was very convienent. Noise level wasn't too bad. My only complaint was the continental breakfast was disappointing. I don't expect much for an included breakfast other than the essentials..ie coffee, silver ware, and the food bins provided have food in them. We were waiting for forks, the coffee ran out, the sausage bin was […] empty. I dont know how much of it was the Hotels fault. There was some rude guest whom were pushy when in the breakfast room and also hording the food with heaping plates and taking it back to their rooms. Very good breakfast buffet. Attend's took good care to make sure it remained stocked with food/drinks. Only complaint on room maintenance was a half-broken safety lock, and, for comfort of the room, it would be better to have full pillows rather than the half pillows stocked in the room. We have stayed at this hotel off and on for over 20 years each time we come to Monterey. The hotel it self is nice because it is close to all the attractions in Monterey; Pier, Cannon Row and Fisherman's Wharf. The room was clean and the surroundings were nice and close to where we wanted to sight-see. The ice machine was broken which was a little inconvenient. The breakfast was good. The exercise room was nice to use. The first room with queen size bed was a little small. On our second night I fell ill and really wanted to have my own bed. The manager was […] very accommodating and switced our queen bed room to two doubles so I could get some rest. He did not charge us extra. That was very nice of him. Mehr

This Comfort Inn had all of the amenities at a reasonable price. the bathroom was nice, the provided breakfast was good (not mind blowing) and the location worked well.

room was neat and clean, and bathroom appeared newly updated and was in good repair. The room was small but satisfactory for my needs, (one person, one night, on business trip.). I booked it last minute, and I was not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised!

This hotel was very comfortable, quiet and the staff were friendly.

As we drove up just looking at the place put a smile on my face. the room was clean, and comfortable.the complimentary breakfast was very good the, only draw back was the park ing it was a little tight. The next time were in Momtrey we plan to stay here at the Comfort Inn by the Sea

The comfort inn in Monterey was a great place to stay. Reasonable rates, very friendly staff, less than 5 minute drive from the highway and the major attractions, and an excellent complementary breakfast! The parking lot is small, so at night it got a little crowded. An awesome deal!

This is a very satisfactory hotel at a great price.The breakfast is good and ample, and the room was comfortable and clean. Location had easy access to all Monterey attractions. I will be going back soon.

We loved the outside decoration and surrending that appeared like a charming country setting. The room was a little old but spacious and clean, the breakfast was good. Similiar to other motels in this range, the carpeting was old and uncomfortable to walk on, also the parking lot was small and tight.

This hotel was good enough for my family for one night. The staff was nice and compared to the other hotels in the area is was reasonably priced. I won't blame the hotel for our inconsiderate neighbors, but I will say the walls are thin. I wish I had known the bathroom didn't have a bathtub, it was tough bathing an infant in a small shower.

I'll give this hotel one thing, the room was clean. The bed however was HORRIBLE, only slightly better than the floor. If you are coming in from highway 1, be prepared to make a U-turn EVERY time to get into this hotel because some genius put a median in the middle of the road in front of all the hotels along this strip. While the room was clean, the […] hotel is in a pretty bad state of repair. There were holes in the walls, doors, gaps under the doors, the windows didn't lock. It was hard to leave and go see the sights, while leaving most everything in the room, knowing that none of the windows would lock, and housekeeping would help that along by leaving the window open after they cleaned the room. The toilet is smashed up against the wall in the bathroom, right behind the door, so you have to close the door to even get to the toilet. And you almost have to sit on the toilet sideways to accomplish anything. The coffee maker is on its own shelf, in the bathroom, right by the toilet. It actually gets more room in the bathroom than the toilet does, but it's still pretty gross that it's right next to the toilet. The sink and tub/shower were fine. If you are staying just one night, this hotel would be passable, but we used this as our home base for visiting Monterey and wished we had booked somewhere else after our first night. Mehr

The bedroom was not clean at all. We were happy to leave this hotel after the first night. Absolutely not worth the price.

Hotel is old but pretty well kept. Shower door needs to be replaced due to parts being rotten away.

Our room was in a quieter area of the hotel. We could hear the morning birds. The complimentary breakfast was sufficient except that in able to eat breakfast you must present a coupon from the front desk. This is new. The one issue in our hote room was the loud flushing of the toilet and the loud turning on of the bathroom shower. They were thunderous […] sounds. Good place to stay if you want to explore both Carmel and Monterey; it it just about right in the middle. Large shopping center about 1/4 away.
