very convienent location...bed was a little lumpy

We enjoyed it very much.

They could use a second waffle maker on busy mornings.

Price was good, but kids were playing basketball until 1:00am i ask the front desck to ask them to leave at 11:30, 12:30 and 1:30am and nothing was done, as for parking you need to get to your room early after 9:00pm there is no parking. and as for the heat it took hours for the place to warm up. the rooms were cleal but dated. when i talk to the manager […] all they could say is sorry. The room was awesome I surprised my wife with dinner and a movie then to the room which had a fireplace she was so surprised and happy the room was very spacious and everthing you need was there.

I don't know which was worse --- the beds of the quality of the front desk staff. I will not be repeating this one again.

staff was friendly, room was the size of an apartment. It was clean and comfortable. Cant find a better deal than this.

I would definitely stay here again. The room was clean, the bathroom was spotless, but the parking was almost scarce. The front desk guy was obviously sleep when I arrived to check in late and had a bit of an attitude. He had trouble finding my reservation on top of that but eventually he redeemed himself. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was very clean and the staff was highly helpful and very nice. Since this is an extended stay hotel maid service is only a few times a week so we didn't get clean linen during our short stay. But that's not a big deal. It's not like things get dirty that fast. When we booked this hotel, it was based on price and convenience...we were in the area for a home inspection and needed a room quickly and this was the best option. I wasn't expecting much out of this room, but we were pleasantly suprised! The room has a full kitchen, a living room with TV, a decent bed, and a clean bathroom! They had hot biscuits and gravy, a waffle maker, cereals, yogurts, and milk & juices, as well as cokes. We were only there one night, but no issues with noise or feeling unsafe. Mehr

The best hotel I have stayed at, you also consider the price why would you stay anywhere else.

do not stay here!!!!! they make u sign a paper stating that there is no smoking in the room and make u give them your credit card info for what they call incidentals. before you have any idea, they charge your credit card $240 and there is nothing you can do about it. even if you never smoked in the room. wonder how many people they have done this  […] to. The hotel was spacious and our service was outstanding. But the rooms are in need of updating. The biggest problem was that the Hotels.com info never mentioned that there was no elevator which was a problem since one person in our party was 91 years old and we had several pieces of heavy luggage. The room was ok but the setup was very sketchy...an apartment complex turned hotels the forces you to sign a non-party waiver when you check in...not a whole lot of class

We have stayed at many hotels in the past 6 months going back and forth to the hospital and this was by far the nicest. Combine the price and I would not recommend any other place to stay.

Not really a 2 bedroom. One bedroom is an open loft, 2nd bedroom is a pull down bed with a curtian to divide it off from the sitting room so no privacy with either room. Full kitchen and 2 full baths. Great for family and great for the price!!!

Well priced for the room and amenities. Close to the main road but noise wasn't an issue at all. A bit of a drive to get to downtown, maybe 10 -15min, with normal traffic. Free Breakfast was average to what most Hotels have, waffle maker, eggs, juice, fruit, bagels, ect...Bed was nice and clean,..I had the studio room and it had ample space with a full […] kitchen, a couch, and even a wood fire place. Bathroom only had one sink, shower was decent, toilets could use an update however. Overall the room was comfortable and I was impressed. felt like I could hang out and invite friends over. The pool and hot tub were closed being it cold outside still, but you are able to go to the Gold's Gym that is close by and get in just with your room key, that was awesome. Wallgreens, Costco, Restaurants, and Fast food are close and within walking distance. Over all I had a great stay and would come back again if I'm staying in Indianapolis. Mehr

Enjoyed the Gatehouse. Near a ton of restaurants and shopping, including a Wal-Mart, a 24hr Walgreens and a JCPenny. The suite was very nice and my whole family enjoyed the space. Excellent and would stay there again.

ask for a room on the second floor!

Horrible location - behind a liquor store and Goodwill is across the street. My room was in the back of the hotel next to garbage cans from local businesses. I received room service only 2 out of the 3 nights of my stay. I left at 7am and returned to my room at 10pm - so there is no excuse. I will never stay here again.

Clean, quiet. Bed uncomfortable. No ice machine. Very few residents (safety concern). Stranger knocked on my door and asked if I was checking out and I was not. He had no name tag and did not identify himself.

Helpful staff, well maintained, clean room. Only draw back was with breakfast. No coffee, almost everything gone more than 30 minutes before scheduled shutdown.

We checked in very, very late, 3:00am late, as a road trip pit stop. One of the selling points for us was the full kitchen, as we were travelling with 3 adults and 6 kids and this way we could sleep a little late and still cook a hot breakfast before we hit the road. The rooms were nice and spacious, bug-free and clean. My only complaints are the mattresses […] are really in need of replacing, with springs poking and creaking, and my room had no pots or pans in it. It had plates, silverware, utensils, even measuring cups and mixing bowls, a full oven and range and a microwave. But not pots and pans, which made the whole kitchen thing fairly useless. The second room we got had pots and pans, just not the first. Now, the guy who checked us in at night was really, really, nice, and I didn't have the time to call and ask for pots and pans or anything, so I can't malign them on service. Just on stocking. Mehr

ONLY THING TO IMPROVE WOULD BE TO MODERNIZE TELEVISIONS TO FLAT SCREENS. THANKS FOR HAVING THE BIG TEN NETWORK ON CABLE. IT WOULD COME IN BETTER IN A MODERN TV.

Everything about the room was great, except for the bed. It was the worst bed that I have ever slept on. The breakfast was pretty good. Other than that, it was a good place to stay

The Gatehouse Suites is close to where my home base company I work for is located. I come for business. I have been here prior to this stay. The first time it was ok. Breakfast was not served the time they said it would be. The second time I had my room changed during the night the noise from the room above me never stopped. You would think the third […] time would be a charm. The noise again above my room was all night. It was like some one was running back and forth. The price and location was great. The staff was extremely friendly and the facilities clean and spacious. It was about a 15 minute drive to downtown Indianapolis and the museums we were in town to see. I wish that there had been more information available regarding the nearby restaurant options. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Room was very nice and clean. Loved the fireplace and kitchen. Furnace was rather loud and no one at front desk in a.m. to check out. Staff person was very nice when she did come, after I called my cell phone.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooms were far enough away from the road to have a quiet night. After we checked in and unloading our luggage the desk clerk came running out to see if we needed help taking them to our room(I was impressed). After a long day traveling we enjoyed a good night sleep and left […] the next morning well rested and ready to continue our travels. Mehr

Kitchen stocked with basic dinnerware. May want to bring a nonstick pan to make dishes a little easier. Nice set up if you are traveling with kids. Lots of restaurants/grocery stores with 1 mile. i was very surprised upon arrival that they had everything i needed for my stay. i was able to cook every nite for my husband. they supply everything you need to cook any meal. my only complaint is that the bed was a little hard. but otherwise great stay.

The room was very nice and relatively spacious. However, the toilet definitely needed cleanng. The bathtub is dangerously slippery, and I have the black-and-blue marks to show for it. Great location for us - close to our friends and family - but a challenge to find at night.

We checked in on the 30th and all was quiet with about 10% occupancy, which was good because our 10 month old was cutting his first tooth. On the 31st occupancy jumped to 100% with the remaining rooms taken by young women between the ages of 16 and 21 who all came out to the basketball court under our window at 7 minutes to midnight and stayed out there […] until the police finally came at 12:40 AM, and then again at 1:10 AM. People were still partying loudly at 5:00 AM when cars were being towed from the parking lot. Which was made worse by the fact that the hotel didn't register the plates of those checking in, so took some resident's cars unknowingly. It was an awful night for us. You would think after the 30th or 40th check-in of young women that something was up. I feel like the hotel didn't do enough to head off the impending flash mob. In talking Mehr

Carpet tacks attacking feet! Plywood subfloor in danger of collapse! These safety issues were addressed with hotel management after our one-night stay Dec. 31, and they have promised to fix them. But wow.

This is the second consecutive year I've stayed here with my sister, and despite a different complaint each year, expect to stay there again next year. Last year the steps to our unit were in bad shape, and were very icy. We looked for a ground floor unit but needed a two bedroom suite so that wasn't possible. This year, the steps had been repaired […] and were kept salted. However, when we checked in the room was VERY cold- the heat had been turned off. Not the welcome you want on Christmas Day! The suite warmed quickly, however. Our main complaint was that in the four nights we stayed, housekeeping only came once. I don't care about the bed linens but I do want replacement coffee filters, and I do want clean towels and to have the waste baskets emptied. The suite itself was very clean and comfortable; the free breakfast buffet was good, and the desk staff were nice and efficient. You get a lot of space and perks for a very reasonable price. Our only other complaint was that when we tried to call the desk to check out we discovered our phone didn't work! Next time, I'll check that first! Mehr
