The purpose of my stay was to get close to the base so I could spend as much time as possible with my son. The hotel was ideal for this purpose. The staff was cordial and thorough. Since I prepaid the time spent with hotel employees was minimal. I was told the internet was free but I wasn't told I needed an ethernet cable to use it. I did not have one. […] That left me the television. That experience was satisfactory. When I got ready to go to bed I found the bathroom and sink facilities very good and convenient. They had an iron. I use an iron. I found it to be a good one. Very satisfied with preparation for bed. While moving around in the room I found clumps of dust and dirt on the carpets leading me to believe the room was not vacuumed before my stay. The bed was reasonably comfortable but the sheets smelled like smoke raising concern for their cleanliness. Complimentary breakfast was very good. It was freshly cooked and had a good variety of choices. I can recommend this to others but the cost for the amenities is a question. Mehr

The hotel staff at check in time was rather rude but the morning staff was very nice. The room was large & comfortable. We will stay here again.

The front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and constantly ask how they can assist you. They take the time to know your name and they use it EVERY time. Also, two male guests were causing a disturbance very late at night and the police were called to remove them. Nobody would have known as it was all handled discreetly and professionally. I appreciate […] when the staff take action to correct situations like this. There is nothing worse than having guests in the room next door make your stay miserable and having a front desk staff that won't take steps to correct it. Mehr

Good Hotel , Good Price , Friendly People

Just visited Oklahoma stayed there...bed are very uncomfortable. Little bugs on the rug. Pool need some work done to it. Carpet in hotel need to be redone. Hotel staff are very friendly.

Excellent hotel for the money. Comfortable bed, nice shower, spacious. Everything was clean and comfortable. Well above average selection on the free breakfast bar. Easy access off the interstate yet quiet inside the hotel.

The staff at this hotel made our Thanksgiving stay wonderful. They served a wonderful full turkey dinner Wed night. The breakfast was excellent. The service top notch. The rooms were large and clean. They did limit service on Thanksgiving day to give their employees time off but there was still someone always around to get you whatever you needed. I […] don't mind not having my beds made anyway. They still checked in with us to make sure our trash was emptied and that we had towels. There is only one minor negative and that is that they do not have a hot tub. The pool was nice and warm though. I will definitely stay there again when we visit again and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Mehr

Took a youth baseball team and had a great time. Rooms were big and comfortable and the indoor pool was great for the kids.

The rooms were very comfortable, nicer than I actually expected. Free hot breakfast buffet and comfortable clean lobby. Loved the heated pool for the boys. Staff was very accomodating and friendly. Alot for the money! Would def stay again.

Great location, nice restaurants near by (stay away from Primo's unless you love boxed wine for $5 a glass), extremely friendly and helpful staff. Clean, spacious room with a nice big LCD. The pillows are uncomfortable and odd is the only reason I'd give a 4/5 for comfort, but otherwise, everything is great.

Easy to get to and a very convenient location for my purpose. Clerks very friendly and helpful clerks.

The desk service was great at check in, we knew everything we needed to know in a 20 second run down from the desk associate. Nice place and convenient to the interstate

The hotel was very accomadating, even though we arrived close to midnight. We had no problems with our reservation and even got an upgrade to a larger room which was nice since we were traveling with children. Breakfast was very nice and I would definetly recommend.

While the location, lobby and public areas were nice and clean, our room was a little dirty. The bedding, not the sheets, were stained and dingy. I know that usually the top bedding isn't washed or replaced after each guest checks out, but I think that the cleaning staff should at least pay attention to the pillows and comforter and clean them when […] they are dirty. Overall stay was good, as was breakfast. Recommend staying other than on the 4th floor, which is reserved for smokers and guests with pets. Staff was a little unprofessional and although we had called ahead to ask for three rooms together because we had extended family all staying at the same hotel, the staff mixed us up with another family with the […] same last name and gave away one of our rooms. Room air conditioner, even on high still leff the room feeling a little stuffy, but not so much that we were uncomfortable. Mehr

I stayed here while attending a 3 day workshop in Midwest City. Didn't arrive until about 11:00 pm and my Executive King Suite was ready and waiting on me with no problems. The AC worked GREAT especially in the 95+ degree weather. Free breakfast buffet was very adequate...fresh whole fruit, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage and various breads […] and sweet rolls. I also had a kitchenette which was convenient. I will definitely stay here again. Mehr

Nice size for two night stay with my husband and three kids. The accomodations were roomy. Housekeeping and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

i stayed 2 nights and was very happy with this hotel. personally i couldn't find anything to complain about. i can myself staying at this hotel again soon.

Two very minor issues that are small enough to not affect my scoring of this hotel: 1) The indoor pool room was VERY stuffy, and it was not that warm of a day when we stayed there. A better ventilation system is definitely needed, I would think they have to fight a constant battle with mold/mildew. 2) I understand that sofabed mattresses are not the […] most comfortable mattresses in the world, but the one in our room was quite thin and uncomfortable. I've definitely seen many better. As I said, neither of these were important enough for me to lower my overall grade of five stars. This hotel, while not in OKC itself, is a very short drive from the Bricktown area. The neighborhood was very quiet despite proximity to the highway. The front desk staff were friendly and the room was very clean and well-kept. We would definitely use this hotel again if/when we go back to the OKC area for a mini vacation. Mehr

Spent 2 relaxing days, just the perfect suite. They are working on some remodeling but it didn't effect us at all. Indoor pool was a plus this time of year. Room clean and roomy. Will stay again anytime.

Unformately my stay at the Hawthorn Suites was due to the death of a family member. I could not have asked for the staff to be more accommodating. They took the time to set up tables with table clothes so our family could have a dinner together. They were so friendly and caring that I will always stay there when I am in the area to do so. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful but seemed a bit too common (i.e. foul language). The "great variety" served at breakfast was not what was advertised but was sufficient. There were the same choices every morning (eggs, sausage, tortillas, fruit and yogurt). The "Manager's Special" on Wednesday was advertised as smoked brisket but turned out […] to be chili dogs. The fitness center was not what was implied. It consisted of a treadmill and elliptical. The room was nice and clean with good housekeeping service (and fantastic coffee). My only problem with the room came through this site which told Hawthorn Suites I specifically requested a Smoking Room (which I never would). Overall, a great hotel that I would recommend and would stay at again. Mehr

We checked in almost 2 hours early and that was handled well. They first gave us a room that was on the smoking floor. We requested a different floor, non-smoking - and they got one for us immediately. No problem. The room and bathroom were very clean. Kids said the fold-out sofa bed was OK. Our bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet even though it […] was on the first floor. Pool looked good although we did not have a chance to us it. We arrived early and they had a room ready for us. We didn't like the floor we were on (smoking) so we asked to be changed and Chris, the very professional front desk person, changed it immediately to a very satisfactory room.
