sehr gut gelegenes hotel, wenn man vorher in sawgrass mills shoppen geht. Lage ist ruhig, aber nicht attraktiv, IKEA direkt nebenan. Große, helle Zimmer mit ansprechender Einrichtung.

das Hotel macht von außen und auf den bildern einen guten Eindruck. Zimmer sind klein und der Holzboden ist noch nie nass gewischt worden. Wir waren unterm Dach und da war es sehr heiss im Zimmer, mit klima nachts war auch nicht so toll. Früstück wie immer im La quinta, leider zu wenig aufgebaut. Staff was nice, hotel was clean & they had a good variety at the free breakfast. Many choices to go eat within walking distance. Would stay there again.

This is now my default place to stay. I was very impressed with the over all feel and service. The breakfast was great too!

As advertised, there was no fitness facility, the doors to the surrounding rooms have automatic closers that need adjustment, as they slam shut all day and night. Every day after maid service was an experience to see just where they would hide the trash can, the "Hot Breakfast" was a heated stale roll and a waffle. One night I was treated to a fire […] alarm at 3:00 AM. On the plus side, the ice was cold, you just had to go down the very slow elevator to the first floow to get it. Mehr

Was disappointed in this hotel. The condition of the room and hotel were poor. The furniture in both the room and the lobby were visibly torn and damaged. The room looked slapped together, the "fold out" sofa bed had no bed sheets & there was a huge wad of spit in the elevator for at least several hours.

And wanted to be close to Sawgrass Mall. For the low price we got, I was very pleased with this hotel. I found the front desk attendants helpful. Nice pool. I did not find the hotel "dated". Did not notice any smoke smell, which I would have being a non smoker. I consider myself picky about where I lay my head....but I was rather pleased and would definitely […] go back :) Mehr

This hotel was an awesome value. It was very clean and the location was perfect. The surrounding area was so nice. Everything you could possibly need was within 5 minutes. There is a HUGE mall nearby, restaurants like Applebees, Friday's, and quicker stuff like Wendys, Taco Bell etc, and a Walmart for any additional needs. All of these are right around […] the corner. Publix grocery store, Dunkin Donuts and more are also close by in the opposite direction. It's the perfect choice if you're attending an event at the Bank Atlantic Center or Sun Life Stadium (like we were). It's about 40 minutes or so from Miami Beach area though. The microwave/fridge combo in the room was awesome too. Bottom line, I don't travel much as this was a special occasion, but if I ever have to be anywhere in that general area again, I will be staying at this hotel. This hotel is nice and in an excellent location. It's close to shopping and dining and not far from expressways. Comfortable area. The rooms are in good condition and the bed slept amazing. The only downfalls are the maids start very early and are kind of loud. Also, because it's pet friendly and the walls are thin, the dogs can be a little loud too. […] Other than this, wonderful overall stay. Mehr

hotel was very close to bank of america arena so we could see the hockey and sawmill mall next door for shopping, very easy access to the highway and the airport.

...IKEA and Sawgrass Mills are in the neighbourhood! Breakfast is good but the breakfast area isn't very nice. Better take your food to the lobby and sit there. The rooms are ok, the view at the back of the hotel is much nicer. You can see the pool and a little lake - the rooms at the front are all facing the car park. Avoid room numbers with a 15, […] they are right next to the big noisy aircondition of the whole buliding. It takes about 20 minutes to the beaches... Mehr

The hotel had good value for money. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean and well maintained. I felt very comfortable staying at this hotel and would stay there again.

Overall we were satisfied with our stay. It was a bonus that Starbucks was in the shopping center door. What was confusing was there is another La Quinta across the street which is what you see first so we went to the wrong hotel first. It's not a very congested area so getting around was easy.

My family & I were pleased with the service & hospitality offered at the hotel

One hour wait to check in, exercise equipment from the 1980's, no towels in exercise room, no pool, dirty breakfast area, difficult and confusion location, 7:30 AM power washing outside of window.

Room had a broken AC, sheets not very clean, no toilet tissue in bathroom had to go down to lobby and get a roll in front of other visitors, I specifically asked for a nonsmoking room and I was given a smoking room which smelled like an ash tray. And the hotels staffs additude was... to bad! we're full up.And to top it all off the phone did not work […] so I had to go to the lobby or call on my phone to camplain.... Nice hotel with a really good location if you're visit the Sawgrass Mills Mall. Breakfast is ok, good thing it is complementary. On the other hand, I was surprised (only thing I did not like about the hotel) with the strong cigarette odor in my room, since I booked a non-smoking room. Other than that it was a good place to stay.

Location is perfect. Comfort level; mediocre. Reception very helpful and friendly.

Clean, quite and friendly service-minded staff - all at a very reasonable price. Close to Sawgrass Mills Mall

it was in a good location because it was surrounded by all the stores that i needed to go to as well as the mall and it was an easy drive and striaght direction to orlando to drive there one road.

This is the third time my wife and I have stayed here and used it as an overnight while we explore The Everglades, by bicycle, airboat and car. It helps that my wife likes that there is an IKEA next door and a Starbucks around the corner.

Just beyond the end of Alligator Alley, exit Flamingo Rd and drive on the service road (84) to 136th then right to 2nd. You are in a pretty and very quiet area with no traffic. Back rooms overlook a lake with a giant aeration fountain. Easy in and out. Wood floors in elevator, halls and room entries relieve the sea of motel carpet. Maybe 15 minutes […] on I-595 to Port Everglades and the Broward Convention Center, the Airport, or the DCOTA, and only 30 minutes back in rush hour because I stayed on the service road. Shell station across the street. Not quite as nice as a Courtyard, but less than half the price. Didn't do breakfast—I'm a big breakfast guy— but Lester's Diner is just a half mile up 136th St. I really doubt you can get a much better level of quality, quiet, and convenience at this price in the area. [the deduct for service was minor. The desk clerk was resetting the AC when we arrived and several parties and UPS had a sizable wait until he returned ... unlikely to happen very often, and I'll trade abundant staff for lower room prices any day!] Mehr

Be aware that there are 2 La Quinta's directly across the street from each other. This hotel was one of the cheapest available at the time of my reservation. It's a good location near the highway and Sawgrass Mills Mall. The room was clean and looked like it had been updated in the last 10 years, but the fabrics were worn and bed a bit squishy and lumpy. […] It was fine for place to sleep one night on a quick trip. If you're going to Ft. Lauderdale to shop at Sawgrass Mills, the location of this hotel is ideal. It is clean, very reasonably priced with included breakfast and comfortable. I recommend it.

Dirty sheets (with stains, holes, hair), stained sofa... bad breakfast...terrible hotel, nice location though if you want to go shopping to Sawgrass mills...

We were a group of 7and we booked 3 rooms. We arrived just after 3 and had to wait about 15 minutes for get rooms on the same floor. However, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Each room had two double beds, and although I hate doubles, they were comfortable for what they were. Weird that there was no garbage can in the bathroom area... had to go […] to the other side of the room to throw stuff away, which was very odd. Otherwise, though, there were plenty of outlets, decent TV and basic amenities like hair dryer, soaps, etc. The breakfast the next morning was included in the price, and it was surprisingly good. Lots of choices in breads, rolls and sweets, plus a waffle maker and boiled eggs. Not a top notch hotel, but totally adequate for what we needed. No complaints. Mehr

This hotel is worth every penny. Very clean, wonderful beds and 3 types pillows to select from, granite, beautiful decor, ample shaded parking and great staff. The breakfast buffet was very good, including good-tasting fresh coffee. Nearby shopping at Sawgrass Mills Outlet makes the location of the hotel a draw. We were very happy with the security […] and safety of the location as we had a loaded SUV and rental moving truck which we parked there. Mehr

Good hotel near Bank Atlantic Center and Sawgrass Mill about 10 mins drive. Car park is available and the room is clean. No complimentary drinking water provided. Breakfast were bread, coffee, milk & juice.
