Baymont Inn met my expectations for the price. I simply needed a basic hotel room during my visit to San Antonio; a place where I could sleep comfortably, shower and prepare for each day.

We had major issues with the "hotel"....a term I use very lightly by the way. The people that work there apprently do not take pride in their job. Our room had many problems including dirt and hair in all corners of th floor, what appeared to be blood spattered on the curtains, hair stuck in one of the picture frames above one of the beds, and oh yeah....a […] bag of COCAINE in the top drawer of the night stand. Are you kidding me! The said they would comp us a free night but we had to pay fr the folowing night too. Ten when we checked ut, they said I wouldhave to get my money back from hotels .com this whole expience was horrible.... I mean really? COCAINE?!? Mehr

When I got there to check in it took the front desk staff 30 mintues to answer the door. I couldn't get in to check-in. The room was ok and the bed was comfy after a 15 hour drive, but the staff service was awful!!!

The room was dirty had to ask for towels 3 out of the 4 days we were there staff in the afternoon at the front desk were rude I will never stay there again or recommend to any one

I would not recommend this hotel at all. On the first night we walked into a hotel room one of the beds was soaking wet. It took forever to find us a different room. The second room was non smoking smell like smoke.

The smell of smoke in the room was horrible. Also, the housekeeping team was told that they didn't have to do a full housekeeping service but be sure to bring us towels. We arrived late that night to find out that they didn't come to our room and that we had to go get our own towels.

Three dislikes 1) Had to wait 30-35 mins to get my room because they had trouble with the washing machines. 2) found an old teen magazine in the closet shelf, weird! 3) front desk people were not friendly!! But over all the hotel was clean, cheap and the beds were comfy. I would stay there again, just need some nice employees!!

I hardly know where to begin! Hairs on the floor of the bathroom, on the shower curtain, on the walls surrounding the shower. Even the soap & used shampoo & conditioner bottles were left on the side of the tub. Candy wrappers on the floor in the corners of the room. So the cleanliness was nonexistent! When we got back from sightseeing the next day, […] someone didn't come to make up our room until 7 pm & then came to the door & asked if there was anything we wanted done. Yes, we want the service we paid for! Other complaints were very few tv channels, the bare minimum. No elevators, be prepared to haul your suitcases upstairs. It is alongside the interstate, easy off & on, but be prepared for noise & congestion. Quite a few fast food places nearby & lots of other motel choices. No breakfast waffles here! Mehr

The Motel was an horrible experience, the rooms were not clean, there were insects in the rooms, the character of the people were not good. When I got there it took them an hour to correct the mistake of giving me someone else room. The internet did not work half the time. Had problems with the A.C. The price I was given was not what charge me. They […] never made the bed or clean the room everyday. I had to ask for clean towels. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this was the worst ever. It was affortable, in a convenience location, and it was also comfortable. I will recommend to friends and family. We are planning to stay there again soon!

Not impressed at all with the hotel. Pictures on website are false. Not what you will be getting. Rooms not clean and stink.

We really enjoyed our stay. Beds were very comfy and we were close to everything. We had a problem with the A.C unit called them and they came and put in all brand new one while we were out. I have never written a review on anything in my adult life but I would pre-warn anyone considering staying with this particular Baymont location. Please read all the reviews before you make a decision - I read them but chose to ignore...I will never do that again. When I first arrived and was checking in, another customer who had just checked in a few minutes before me came back to the counter. The customer continued to inform the young lady at the desk that she was given a room that had not yet been cleaned. In hearing this the clerk of course was a little defensive arguing that the system showed it to have been cleaned - while this was happening the manager on duty approached and began questioning the situation. While the manager was assigning the customer another room the clerk stood next to her, at that point the manager very rudely told the attendant to "go". As a customer I felt that this was not an appropriate response or behavior for the manager to portray in front of customers which made me feel bad for the clerk - the issue was most likely an honest mistake (the clerk did appear to be new). The good thing for me is that fortunately my room was clean and ready for my arrival. My next issue came when I called down to the desk later in the evening and asked if I could have an extra blanket. The desk clerk told me that they do not have extra blankets which I could somewhat understand since it was Spring Break and they may have been full however, the tone and uncarring attitude was something that was unacceptable to me. The following day after my family and I spent a long hot day out we came back (around 6PM) to find that housekeeping had not been to our room to at least switch out towels. This hotel was clean enough, but the toilet didn't work well -- took a long time to refill so that it could be flushed again. The continental breakfast was mediocre at best ... stale muffins, not much variety, kept running out of juice, milk, etc. and very cramped. And it had been raining and the floor was wet around the outside wall.

The front desk lady and the front desk man where both super helpful and the man even went out of his way to print spurs tickets I purchased.... The beds were brand new and very comfy.....a mini fridge would have been nice but overall i was very impressed

Had a great stay at the hotel. Water preasure was low in our room and was making it hard for the toilet to flush, was a one night stay for the weak. Other than that, all was great. Thanks.

convenient location. VERY affordable. Other than the (2) cop cars dealing with a domestic abuse situation a few doors down, I slept just fine. It's not in the "best" neighborhood, but it's fine. 24 hour taco place next door. gentlemens bar 100 yards away. Oh, and a McDonalds and Dennys basically in the parking lot.

The location is a 14minute drive to downtown where the Alamo and Riverwalk are, but I was happy with the price and quality of the location. The only thing I would've loved to see were more lights where there is designated parking. Overall, a good budget-friendly place to stay.

The room and the location were satisfactory however there was a leak in the air conditioner that kept me up. Hotel staff was friendly

This was a nice hotel with a nicestaff.

This isn't a 5 star, but for what the price was you cannot complain. Breakfast was lacking, but room was good, internet and TV as well. Bed was comfy. Would I bring my family here for vacation no. But for a business trip for myself I'd do it again.

I thought the lady at the front desk was very courteous and friendly. I reuested a different room for personal convenienceand she obliged. I stay there often and will certainly book again when I am in San Antonio. Thank you lady at the front desk.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and continue to be very satisfied. The price is the best part of it. It is also close to several places to eat. Right on I-10, so you can get on the freeway immediately.

Everything was great but the 7 o'clock breakfast. Coffee tasted like reused coffee grounds plus it was cold. I had to go to Mc Donalds across the street. Other than that the rooms were super clean, comfy beds, clean nice towels, flat screen tv and staff was nice and helpful.

The room had no fridge or Microwave but still worth the rate. It was clean and comfortable. Good location for our business trip. Everything was within a few miles. I don't like to pay more than I have to when taking business trips and I am also cautious about what I could be getting into however I was very satisfied with my stay!

There were very noisy nesighbors a few doors down that partied all night long outside their room. The noise did not go away after it was reported to the front desk at 11 pm. I finally fell asleep around 1 am. This is an old hotel, kind of run down in appearance, but the bed was comfortable. The pool was closed for cleaning on Sunday.

Booked this hotel because we knew we would not be in it much and wanted to pay as little as possible. The buildings are showing their age, but the property was clean and seemed well maintained. Room was nothing to brag about, but the beds were comfortable and the water was hot. Staff was friendly and responsive. Location is VERY convenient to both I-10, […] Loop 410 and Loop 1604. If you don't have much to spend and just need a comfortable bed, I would recommend. Mehr

I stayed at this hotel due to the location as I was having surgery in the medical center. I booked two rooms, and both rooms were clean and comfortable. I was only 6 minutes from the doctors office so the location was perfect. Surrounding restaurants convenient. I would stay at this hotel again.

Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover, In This situation PLEASE DO! First of all, the pool was so filthy, it looked as if it were polluted! The Room, S M A L L, The Bed, TOO S M A L L. & Last BUT, definitely not least the workers were very extremely RUDE, they did not offer any good service at all.! The staff was friendly/knowledgeable but the hotel was old and run down looking. I didn't like that it was apartment-like and no elevators. The bathroom was very small and kinda gross. Luckly we had a very full agenda so we were not in the room for a long time. I would not stay here again, would rather pay a little more to stay in a nicer hotel.

I find it interesting that people write reviews on Hotels not realizing that they should be basing their rating on the expected level of service given the Hotel classification and the $$$ paid. This Hotel is Rated 2 Stars and I personally think they exceeded my expectations, the rooms are clean, there is a quite decent Continental Breakfast (deal breaker […] for me as I travel on a budget) the swimming pool is well maintained and the Staff is Great, VERONICA the front desk person / room maid and everything-in-between Lady was especiallly nice and Customer oriented and I wanted to thank and Commend Her...!! Ok. for the price. shower was a little durty.

Rooms are very dirty and deplorable. Breakfast ends at 9AM leaving you no opportunity to get breakfast. Most people staying there were coming from Fiesta Texas and I am sure they too tried to sleep a little later than 9AM after being at the park so late. I was very disappointed with the room itself.

Our wash cloths were never replaced with clean ones. A chair was not cleaned that had crumbs on it. The pool was filthy!!! The breaksfast area was so crowded it was not worth getting up to eat. good place to stay at next to mcdonalds and churchs and walmart, friendly service clean rooms, clean bathrooms ill definitely stay again.

First we arrived at the hotel around 6 p.m they gave us a room that was not clean the beds werent made, and towels were all over the floor. They give us another room that was ok but the bathroom was so small my husband could not fit in the shower and he's just 5' 11'' and the pool was closed wich was mainly the reason we booked this hotel. Good overall stay. Would book again when in San Antonio. 15 minutes from Lackland AFB (why we were there for graduation). Price was pretty good and the room and staff were attentive and friendly. Pool was closed for maintenace the last day we were there but hey stuff happens sometimes.
