Zimmer sehr sauber; freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Downtown Detoit innerhalb von 20 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Besseres Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht so leicht zu erreichen.

Typical Hampton Inn. Very clean, nice location, comfy bed, great breakfast. I always stay at Hampton Inn if available

I WAS VERY UNHAPPY WITH MY STAY. WHEN MAKING MT RESERVATION I REQUESTED NOT TO BE NEAR THE POOL. OF COURSE WHEN CHECKING IN THERE WERE NO OTHER ROOMS AVALIABLE OTHER THAN THE ROOMS NEAR THE POOL. I HAD A RESERVATION FOR TWO ROOMS AND OF COURSE I COULD NOT GET ANY REST BECAUSE OF THE NOISE AT THE POOL. NOT TO MENTION IT WAS EXTREMLY HOT IN THE ROOM AND […] THE AIR BARELY WORKED. SO I WILL NOT BE STAYING AT THE HAMPTON INN IN SOUTHFIELD EVER AGAIN........ SORRY Mehr

over all stay was good the only thing sunday morning breakfast was not up to expectations. Waffles weren't on menu and the other food was ok it just look kinda slim.

The heat did not work in my room

Excellent motel for the money. Only complaint is, while the bed was extremely comfortable, the sheets did not properly fit the mattress and, as a result, came off the bed during the night.

My kids enjoyed the poolside room for the conveince. Rooms were a bit small.

I got a decent rate on a decent hotel. Was a nice chance to get away and swim. Unfortunately the hot tub worked the first night and the next morning the pool was warmer than the hot tub. One of the reviews I read was that the pool was 'almost too warm' - well, I appreciated that because I could stay in the whole time with my child without getting c […] old. Mehr

We stay here when we come to Detroit to go to baseball games, etc. It is a wonderful value for a family of four since the breakfast is so good. The pool and fitness area is always clean and the rooms are comfortable. The service is wonderful. Receiving a bottle of water at check in was a nice touch, too!

I used to use this particular hotel for lodging for conventions and other large meetings for my church (2005 - 2008). During this time, it was excellent. So for this stay, I was excpecting the same conditions but was royally let down. The maintenance and care of the hotel has surely digressed.

The overall stay was good. We were very unhappy with the cleanliness of the pool area. There were hair balls every where on the floor around the pool which grossed us out. Also when we were in the hotub we got out because after we turned on the jets nasty stuff came to the service of the water. We said something to the man working in the pool area & […] all he did was kick the hair balls around under the fencing. This turned us off from staying here again. Stay: March 23,2012 to March 26, 2012 The staff is GR8 but if you are thinking it is non-smoking. Don't count on it. The guest tend to be very ignorant and smoke IN SPITE OF the placards on the door. The hotel will not do anything to enforce it (NOT THE STAFF FAULT). I blame the corporation. They need to implement a $200.00 fee on the card of people […] who chose to violate the rules of non-smoking. The hot tub was not hot and we were looking forward to using it but that did not happen. Rating 1- 5. I would give them a solid 4. I love that they use white blankets and the room was clean and the staff were caring. I would make sure the hot tub working and will be on when you get there. Also if you not use to brats running in the halls because their parents are failing to raise them. Dont go to this hotel. Again, I blame corporate not the staff and the security they have made it more comfortable but did not stop the smoking. Gr8 location. I will go back but make sure you are aware of what I am telling you it will make the stay "bearable". Mehr

I stayed here to have a vacation from my kids and husband. The staff was very friendly. My room was exactly what i wanted (comfort, clean and quiet). I also enjoyed breakfast. It started my day just right.

The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked the poolside room, and the convenience. The staff was very friendly. My only complaint was that the pool was actually too warm! But we will definitely choose this hotel again if we are in the area!

My family of six thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay at the Hampton Inn of Southfied, close enough to our relatives in the city of Detroit and surrounding areas to get to us with little trouble. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, rooms were clean and comfortable (only slight negative was the inconsistent time that the rooms were serviced […] everyday), and the breakfasts were excellent. Suitably-room. Very comfortable bed. Good location though a bit hard to find on the first try. Well worth finding though.

The breakfast on the hotel was amazing, and not the same two days in a row which I really liked. The hotel was great, nice and friendly staff, very comfy beds and we got our nights for a very great price. The only complaint was the pool. It was kind of crowded and not the best, too deep even on the shallow end, so if you have kids that are a little […] bit younger it's not going to be just super great. There was also some hair floating around in it which is kind of disgusting, could have to do with the other 25 people that was in it though. All in all a good hotel with nice breakfast! Mehr

Let me first tell all of you that I LOVE this hotel. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was neat with a great view of the pool. There are a ton of activities to do within a half mile of its location including a convenient grocery store that's only a 5 minute walk away. HOWEVER my only (and this is huge) qualm with this hotel is the lack […] of security. Unsupervised adolescents run through the halls at night without fear of getting kicked out because there was no one patrolling the area. I resisted calling the front desk to complain assuming that the antics would end soon but the kids just kept roaming the halls laughing. In conclusion, my stay here would have been 5-star worthy if only they beefed up their security. Im sure other visitors won't be as sympathetic about unsupervised minors treating this place like a playground which WILL eventually deter them from even considering to stay here. 4/5 Mehr

Great restaurant next door. Enjoyed Copper Canyon!

This hotel was just right when you need a last min. place to stay. It was clean and comfortable.

Conveniently located at 696, Telegraph and Twelve Mile. They also accept dogs! Room (2 queens) was very nice. First room given had a bathroom fan which buzzed. Management immediately gave us another room. We were also offered cold bottled water upon check-in, a very nice touch. Breakfast buffet and the creative brown bagged "Breakfast To Go" was one […] of the best I have ever seen in a hotel. Mehr

we had a pool side room they should give those rooms away not charge extra. The noise was unbelievable, could not swim because there was more people in the pool than posted over 47 posted 35 hot tub closed due to a little something floating. Come to find out the pool and hot tub are emptied on an avereage of 3 times an week to clean. Was given damp […] towels when asked for clean ones the next day . will never stay again. The desk peolple seemed to be over worked, the breakfast area was cramped for the amount of people that were shoving to get food. Love the location and the front office staff - the breakfast was great!!!

The hotel was attractive from the outside, fairly easy to find off the highway. I requested a pool side room which was very convenient, pool and hottub were great, clean and warm. Could have used a little more stock of the pool towels, was usually low or gone. Noise factor of being so close the pool wasn't the greatest, pool hours were until 10pm but […] there was a night where the noise went on well til 11:30, Beds were super comfy and room cleaned except for the coffeemaker as I went to make coffee and there was a used coffee filter still in the basket that had quite a bit of mould growing on it so it had obviously been there for a while. The breakfast items were well stocked and hot with different items each day. I did request a micro/fridge when booking and knew it was based on availability, which I mentioned again when I was checking in. I was given a fridge that night and told a Microwave would not be available til the next day but I would be put on the next in line soon as one was available as I was staying for 3 days, unfortunately one was never provided. All in all the hotel was quite nice, pool was good, staff were friendly and beds were cosy so I would definitely recommend it. Mehr

Good for a stay with pets...pool was cloudy, hot tub had hair and skin floating in it. I witnessed security being rude to swimmers with infants at 9pm...yelling at adults to get out of the pool now because it was now an adults only swim time. Bathtubs and tub surrounds are in horrible condition, dirt in corners of the bathrooms, wallpaper peeling off […] walls in bathroom, bathroom fan doesn't work well. We moved a few umbrella deck chairs outside of our poolside room to sit on and security practically threw us off of them because they belonged under the umbrella table which was outside of an empty hotel room. Comforters are lumpy...u can see the lumps from across the room. Breakfast is 6/10...bright green bananas...instant scrambled eggs...no waffle iron. Like I said, fine for a pet stay... Mehr

As always my stay at the hampton was great, check in was smooth and quick. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I have to say they went above and beyond, I forgot my wallet and credit cards at TSA in Baltimore, they allowed me to check in with the understanding new credit cards were on the way. Thanks Hampton

Very friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet. Pool was not cleaned well, found paper towel candy and part of a pizza box in pool. Overall a good hotel

It was a great hotel with great service. Daniel, specifically accommodated our needs and made our stay delightful. Because of him, ill be back in the near future.

The room was nice and the customer service reps accomadate when I ask for a room on the inside of the hotel surrounding the pool. Breakfast was really good too.

Hotel was well kept. Breakfast was good. My only complaint would be that the shallow end of the pool was small, and was four feet deep (the purpose of our stay was to take our young children swimming).
