Das Hotel befindet sich ziemlich in Stadtmitte, sodass man das historische Philadelphia, Chinatown und den Park zu Fuss erkunden kann. Wir hatten statt des gewuenschten King Size Betts zwar zwei Doppelbetten, aber auch eines davon war gross genug und sehr bequem.

Das Hotel liegt wohl im Bürobezirk, was zur Folge hat, dass nachts die Straßen ausgestorben sind und einem gelegentlich fragwürdige Gestalten über den Weg laufen (ohne negative Folgen!) In 25 Minuten ist man aber an der Freedom Mall mit Freedom Bell usw. In 15 Minuten bei einer tollen Markthalle mit vielen leckeren Speisen. Das Hotel ist sehr gut und liegt direkt im Zentrum von Philadelphia. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nahe des Hotels befindet sich die Hauptstraße der Stadt mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Alle Ziele die etwas entfernt liegen kann einfach mit dem Bus erfahren, welcher 2Dollar pro Fahrt kostet, sehr günstig. The hotel itself is fine, but the nature of it being a conference style hotel -is irritating. I was on a one day business trip and my room was across from the ice machine. Well, the conference party animals got ice all night long - and all morning from 4am on! I guess they had to keep those ice baths in the sink going to keep the drinks cold. Ugh. The […] lounge had slow service and the food was really terrible. I ordered a simple basil and mozz flat bread - ugh, I wish they would have just brought out a personal Tostino's pizza, it would have been 10x better than the weird, gloppy, airplane quality food that I got. The hotel was a short walk to the Philadelphia Art Museum, but not only that, was close to Reading Terminal Market and the other historic sights. The room was clean for the most part -- a few marks on the sheets, possibly from the dryer.

The hotel was classy and our room had a beautiful view. The TV had captioning and there was a way to iron clothes, have a cup of tea or coffee, or water. Temperature was adjustable. Parking was convenient for the driver in our group. I just wish that the bed we slept in was a bit wider. We stayed overnight prior to seeing the Van Gogh Up Close show […] at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which was very close. Mehr

The bed was very comfortable and it is walking distance to all the museums. We rally loved staying here.

Clean, crisp sheets and plush pillows.....very relaxing

I enjoyed our stay. Even though it was a high rise, we did not hear people from other rooms. The bed was very comfortable and we had a beautiful view of the city from our room.

The check in process was awful. We checked in at noon, but could'nt get into a room until six after waiting for 1/2 hour to get our keys. In my son's room the TV didn't work and was never fixed even after requesting it. Never stay here again.

Nearly everyone at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable! Like sleeping on a cloud. My friend and I only stayed one night, but we had a lovely dinner at an Irish pub which was in walking distance, saw some sights, and had a nice breakfast at a little bakery also in walking distance. Good […] value. Definitely worth it. There is a pool that we planned on using but never got a chance to check out because we slept so well! Can't provide insight on the pool, but if it's anything like the rest of the hotel, it's probably pretty decent. Mehr

Customer service at the front desk SUCKS. Can't think of any other word. I've been in the business for 10 years and I know what to say, what not to say, and how to treat a person. Was very shocked when there was an emergency in the hotel, and the front desk didn't know how to handle the situation.

The room was nice but there was no mini fridge and the shower was broken so that water sprayed out the bottom where someone had failed to fix it and had tried to caulk it. So the whike faucet was loose and was spraying water.

The hotel overbooked and placed me in a Crown Plaza on the west side, six miles from the convention center.

My 11 year old son and I were seeing the sights in Philly and wanted to be close to all. This hotel was in the center of everything. The staff was very helpful and knowledgable of the sights and helped us to plan out our day to get in the maximum amount of sight seeing in. The blankets and the bed were so comfortable that we almost slept the day away. […] Everything was great, I would definately recommend this hotel and I will also book here again if Im traveling thur Philly. The staff was really friendly. The room however had a broken toilet that would move when you sat on it. Under the bed my grandaughter pulled out a pair of underware. The breakfast buffet was the worst I have ever had. It was $$$ expensive and everything that should have been hot was cold. Again the staff hospitality was really great.

We checked-in on Saturday afternnon around 2:30 and they didn't have a room yet. We had to wait for about 40 minutes, and when I asked about it they said a room was ready but not a king (I guess I booked that). I said it doesn;t matter and we got our room. Everything was great after that. The room was quiet and easy for sleeping.

It was a fine place, but I have two things to say. First, given that checkout time is 12:00 noon, I do not understand why Housekeeping came knocking on my door at 8:20 a.m. on the day that I was checking out. I had neglected to hang my "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door, but I did not think that was necessary since I was only there for one night, and […] leaving that morning. Also, this was the first hotel that I ever stayed in where there was not a shower cap. And, of course, it was the first time EVER that I didn't pack my own! Mehr

Everything from the elevator doors to the bathroom ceiling was filthy; fingerprints on almost every table surfaces, stains on carpets and walls; hair on bathroom ceiling, etc. - expected more from Sheraton brand. Very unpleasant experience.

check in time was delayed, did not get a room until 5:00, check in time suppose to be 3:00. Wife order 3 virgin drinks the cost was 60.00. unhear of!!!!

I was really impressed with how nice the hotel was and how nice the room was. I would stay there again any chance I got. The only minor issue was that room service forgot part of our breakfast and then was defensive about it when we called to let them know. However, they corrected the error immediately. Really a nice place to stay.

This was a last minute booking. Was very affordable so we grabbed it and expected an OK experience. But it turned out to be awesome! The view was gorgeous, the room was beautiful and the beds were so comfortable! And the room service food was top-notched. My picky eater autistic son loved the grilled cheese and fries. We were visiting Philadelphia for sightseeing. The hotel was within walking distance of several museums and cabs were easy to get elsewhere. We did not find many places to eat very close to the hotel but there was plenty a bit further away. We did not use many of the hotel's facilities as we did not have time but found it comfortable and clean. The […] guidebooks in the room were helpful. The Sheraton was just off the Interstate and very close to City Hall and the Convention Center. It had onsite parking and a very nice seafood restruarant with excellent crab cakes. We were also within walking distance of the Liberty Bell and Independence Mall area and other historic sites. Room was clean and comfortable, and staff was very helpful.

I come to visit my family in from NYC quite often and I stay in this hotel. They are very pet friendly at no extra cost. The beds are comfy and the room service is average. The only thing that sucks is pool area. It looks like a local YMCA. No scenery and no comforts. The outdoor area right next to it is is HORRIBLE! Go there for the bargain. Loved the hotel. Room was beautiful. Large flat screen Tv, starbucks coffee in the room and the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever sleept on at a hotel. Do not park at the hotel $38 a day. Park across the street for $18. Close walking distance to Reading Terminal, great place for a traditional Philly lunch.

Perfect location. Easy walking distance to museum and eateries. Room assignment disaster, invading someone's private room, but very accommodating in offering free parking and breakfast for the mistake.

Nice hotel for the rate we received. Suggestions for possible changes; 1. $38 dollars a day for parking is steep. But it is Philadelphia. 2. Room service hours could be extended past 11PM. 3. Keep the hotel bar open past 11PM. Staff was courteous and would book with the hotel again.
