Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown - Salt Lake City

Das Hotel war ausgesprochen erfreulich. Beeinträchtigt wurde der Besuch zu diesem Zeitpunkt nur durch einen großen Umbau (Renovierung), der das gesamte Erdgeschoss zur Baustelle machte. Nachdem aber im Vorfeld deutlich darauf hingewiesen wurde und der Preis entsprechend angepasst, war dies kein wirkliches Problem.

Everything about the room was great. It was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was a little hard for me only because I like soft beds. The bathroom was very impressive. The sink and faucet was really neat and the tub faucet and shower head were great. My husband and I are determined to get a tub faucet and shower head like that now! It's right […] downtown in a great location, just a block down the street from the concert hall and within walking distance of plenty of places to eat. I docked them one point only because we asked for a king but got two full beds instead. Oh well! Mehr

Hotel was decent, hotel staff upon arrival was pleasant. During our stay we tried calling the front desk about 6 times but was hung up on each time. If this was someone calling because of emergency this would have been unacceptable. I was very disappointed about this.

beds did not work properly, there was garbage in room from last guest and they charged me to park there!! will never stay again.

just a couple of blocks away from the new City Creek Center, and the Gateway Center. Trax line can take you further. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Stayed due to my child having an early procedure at Primary Childrens Medical Center. I will be staying there again!

Room was nice, but very warm even with Air Conditioning on. Right next to Salt Palace which is where we needed to be, would have been nice if Hotel offered Free Breakfast but they didn't. There was a concert just down the street and we could hear the music in our room made it hard to get to sleep

Stay was great except we booked A room with two beds only to discover it had only one, we called the front desk for A rollaway and it took about four hours and two or three more calls!

Arrived to check in at 3 pm., and was informed our room was not ready, and there was no hot water... We had an engagement for later that evening in downtown Salt Lake and couldn't shower. We we NOT told that the Hotel was undergoing renovations, and heard banging from outside and underneath our room all night. It was horrible. Our credit card was refunded, […] but that didn't help not being able to freshen up for a late evening company get together. Mehr

The hotel is currently under construction which and we were woke up at 7:30 am by hammering on the floor below us. We informed the front desk at checkout and our parking was comped. A few days later I received an email from the hotel manager again apologizing for the inconvenience and she also added 10,000 points to my club carlson card. . . . . this hotel is currently under remodeling construction. Our room was totally remodeled and looked great, but the wall heater malfunctioned and we had to turn it off. Also, two housekeeping personell decided to have an argument very early in the morning, right outside our door. It lasted 15 minutes and woke us up. The hotel is under construction until the middle of january but the staff was very accommodating of us and our needs. Fun indoor pool that we all loved! Merry Christmas!

Have stayed here before, about 4-5 yrs ago and its a good hotel in a great location. This time around (December 2011) its undergoing a remodel, which is always a good thing. I'm sure it'll be fine when its done. Not too much inconvenience, mainly in the lobby and didn't have any major issues other than the water pressure being low for a few hours in […] the AM, but they resolved it quickly. One of my favorite hotels in SLC. Love the location. This hotel is within walking distance to everything downtown. They are renovating the lobby right now so things are a bit like a mouse maize. Very confortable beds.

The price was cheaper than anything else online and was a nice hotel. I found out why the price was so cheap after checking in. They charge you $12 to park your car in their parking lot, $15 if you have valet do it. Also no continental breakfast. The lobby was under construction but the room was nice. Didn't care too much for the sleep number bed, never […] had used one before so I didn't really know a good setting to set it at, woke up the next morning with a sore back. I appreciated how it was within walking distance of the outdoor mall and the Morman tabernacle.

Was taken back by the construction, but the price was right, the room very comfortable, staff very friendly and accommodating, and close to where we needed to be. It was nice to walk into the room that had been heated after driving in the snow. A clump of hair in the bed was the only negative that I can think of.

Good value. The lobby was under construction, but good temporary signage made it manageable. The breakfast buffet was better than most and the server was fantastic.

It is under renovation and low floors are very noisy

Standard hotel. Clean. Beds were comfortable.

The hotel was very nice, adjustable bed, hotel location and price was great. Walking distance to the Temple, and the Gateway mall which offers a wide variety of nice stores and places to eat.The only reason I gave a 4 in some ratings is that the room did not have a microwave, the night light on my side of the bed did not work, and the shower was ok […] but did not have good pressure. But overall, the hotel is great, very nice lobby. You have to pay for the parking, though... Mehr

Overall the hotel was nice. The restaurant was a bit expensive for the choices that it offered. My room was adequate, though I was unhappy to see a few hairs on the bathroom floor. My select number bed control didn't work, so I slept on to firm of a mattress. I was told that the hotel will be doing a renovation and that they will be replacing most of […] their select beds with something else. The price for the hotel was good for a City Center location. Good location, a bit older property but well maintained. Friendly young staff.

Great beds, very clean and staff was very friendly. No complaints really, air conditioner made me sleep like a baby!

Beautiful, modern hotel.

Other than having to pay for parking the hotel was great.

I booked online a low level room with king bed and when we got to our room we had two twins and overlooked the rooftop. I called and told the front desk that I reserved a king and was told that my online booking was for a low level room and that there was not any more kings left. I said I would pay extra for an upper level king and was moved. When I […] went to exchange card key I was told there would be no extra charge. Very good business decision on the part of the hotel. Still has the twelve dollar parking but some places are more and some are free so just figure it in as part of the room charge. Room was very nice. No complaints. Walking distance to Temple Square. A well-located, clean and comfortable hotel with no sense of customer service. After an incident involving an aggressive dog on the property the hotel did nothing voluntarily to apologize or make me, my wife, or my dog feel safer about staying with them. Only after asking to speak to the general manager on the following day (to no avail), calling the […] national Radisson customer service (very nice people) and several rounds of email with another manager did they begrudgingly offer to comp my rather inexpensive stay if I agreed, in writing, not to file a lawsuit. My business and that of any hotel.com user was obviously not their primary concern. If they were corporate-owned hotels I'd highly recommend another Radisson if for no other reason than the wonderful national customer service people I dealt with. However, since they're all independently owned and operated, I would simply encourage you to steer clear of this hotel. Mehr

The sleep number beds are not comfortable mattresses, they are just a glorified air mattress. We stayed for two nights and when we got back to our room after dinner the second night, our key card didn't work so we had to go back to the lobby. Very inconvenient. Also, we were on the 12th floor and it took over five minutes for the shower to warm up. […] I only said I would not recommend this hotel to others because the beds were not very good. Mehr

We were unaware of the charge for parking before hand. The hotel charges to park in the hotel parking lot. Just to keep in mind while preparing the budget.

We enjoyed this quiet, non-smoking hotel. It was close to Temple Square so that I could do genealogical research...close to a good shopping center and restaurants, as well. The only thing missing in the hotel is a low-cost alternative to the one high-priced restaurant they have.

Great location by the TRAX light rail line. There is a low frequency humming sound where room faces the arena at low floor. Sleep number bed is nice to try, but pillow is way too soft and not comfortable. It is an okay hotel for a short stay.

Spent the weekend in SLC for my birthday this year. It was somewhat difficult to find and after calling their company number (Don't bother, they know about as much as you do from looking it up) and finally calling the hotel itself. The girl who answered seemed annoyed with our asking for directions from where we were and then as we discovered later, […] had given us wrong directions. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The sleep number beds and down comforters are very comfortable as well as a decent sized TV. The fridge we requested in our room didn't work and no effort was put into replacing or having it fixed while we were there so we had to go and purchase a cooler. All in all it was a pleasent stay and i would go again. Mehr

The room was fine. Not the cleanest. I found stray hairs all over the bathroom but the location was great if you planned on walking to places. The bed was not as comfortable as I imagined. It was one of those sleep number beds but it felt like I was sleeping on an air mattress or water bed b/c i could feel movement every time my boyfriend would get […] up or turn over. Over all it suited us for the night and I received a good price for it. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked for suggestions so that's always a plus. Mehr

over all my stay was good, but the hot tub was cold in the morning. Also, i was charged a security charge that i was not told about.
