sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, (Einzel-)Zimmer mit Queensize-Bett recht klein, aber gut eingerichtet mit vielfach einsellbarer Klimaanlage und separater Heizung, Fenster groß zum Öffnen, moderen Einrichtung und nettes Bad großer Fernseher (wenn mans braucht) und Weckradio mit IPod-Dockingstation nur gut 5 min Fußweg zu den nächsten beiden U-Bahnstationen, […] Bar im Hotelerdgeschoss ist zumindest bei geschlossenem Fenster (Winter) absolut nicht zu hören 24h Rezeption Minuspunkte nur für gerade ausreichende Max-Temperatur beim Duschwasser und sehr geringe Wassermenge - ab und zu hört man Wasserrauschen in den recht hellhörigen Wänden Mehr

Top Lage. Ausgezeichneter, super freundlicher Service von allen MitarbeiterInnen des Hotels ! Super Zimmerservice (sauber, gepflegt etc).-- Absolut empfehlenswert. Einziges Manko : Zimmer sind nicht so groß (falls man Wert drauf legt ...).

Ich weiß, dass einige vorher meinten, die Zimmer seien sehr hellhörig. Nun, tatsächlich hört man eigentlich nur das Knallen der Flurturen wenn andere Gäste ihr Zimmer betreten/velassen, bzw. die Zugangstüre des Korridors. Ansonsten hört man von den anderen Gästen nichts. Die Türbeschläge könnten mit "Schließ-Bremsen" und ausgestattet werden und als […] Geräusch-STopp gäbe es auch Anschlagsdichtungen. IM Zimmer hört man alles was sich im Bad ereignet (1-2 cm Türlücke zum Boden ist bei den anderen Hotels ebenso) Das Hotel ist in einer für Boston typische Straße aus Klinkersteinhäusern. In 10 min ist man an der Subway Back Bay Station, oder zu Fuß in 20 Minuten in Downtown. Um den Block befindet sich im Subterrain eine Münzwäscherei sowie ein 24 h Kiosk/Laden. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber wirklich ausreichend und nicht eng. Schade ist nur, dass kein Frühstück angeboten werden kann, es ist ein relativ kleines Hotel. DAfür kann mann 300 -400 meter entfernt in der Tremont Street einige Cafes die ein sehr gutes und reichliches Frühstück für ca. 14-25 Dollar haben. (Ist vielleicht besser so, die ANDEREN Hotels bieten Frühstück auf Papp-Teller , Pappbecher und Plasticgeschirr zum Selbstbedienung an: Industrielle Hamburger patties, fettige Omeletts.. da sind 12 USD im Restaurant besser investiert..) Die Lage ist ruhig und gut, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super, alles sauber, das Personal überaus hilfsbereit, auch bei Buchen von Tagestouren, und Reisen, ich empfehle das Chandler Inn ! Mehr

Wir waren das 1. Mal in Bosten und sehr erstaunt über die Hotel-Preise... Bosten kann da locker mit New York mithalten! Das Chandler Inn fanden wir aber, was Preis-Leistung angeht okay. Leider war es ohne Frühstück und das Hotel hat leider auch keinen eigenen Parkplatz, das Hotel hat jedoch ein Arragement mit einem nahegelegenen Parkhaus, in dem man […] dann "günstiger" parken kann. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer ganz guten Lage, die Back Bay Station ist in unmittelbarer Nähe und der Flughafen ist ebenso recht komfortabel erreichbar. Die Zimmer leider relativ hellhörig und das Bad ist klein, die Einrichtung aber stylisch und entsprechend der Beschreibung.

Das Personal war wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereits. Die Zimmer waren klein aber sauber und nett eingerichtet. Leider hat die Heizung nicht gut funktioniert. Außerdem waren die Zimmerwände zwischen den einzelnen ZImmern sehr dünn. Trotzdem würden wir wiederkommen, da Lage, Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals wirklich top waren.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, auch wenn die hübscheste Gegend von Boston einige Autominuten entfernt ist. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann nicht vor dem Hotel oder in unmittelbarer Nähe parken. Ein Parkhaus ist ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernt, kostet aber einiges pro 24 Stunden, auch wenn Hotelgäste eine Ermäßigung dort bekommen! Die […] Standard Zimmer sind etwas klein und unser Zimmer roch nach Schweißfüßen. Das Badezimmer ist winzig und wirkt etwas schmuddelig. Auch der Teppichboden wirkt nicht sehr einladend und der Schrank roch auch seltsam... alles in allem gute Lage, aber Zimmer lassen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Excellent employees. Very courteous and family oriented. As soon as you step in the hotel, Staff remembers your name and offers help if you need something. I definitely come back to this hotel. The staff Eugene is one of the excellent employee. I enjoyed staying. Quiet, safe, and accessible to all. Definitely worth coming to this Hotel.

My stay was wonderful, and I have stayed there a few times. The Staff was very helpful. My only negative thing to say was that they should use better light bulbs. I found it dark even in the bathroom. Maybe higher watt's is whats needed.

Clean, updated hotel with historic charm. Great use of small space. Large floor mirror was handy. Limited storage for folded clothes but we kept ours in the luggage. No closet but some space for hanging clothes on hooks and hangers. No coffee maker in room but free coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the lobby ( machine to make your own). Close to Back Bay […] station yet in a quiet safe neighbourhood. A few blocks to Newbury street and Copley square. Service was friendly. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was small but clean. The beds were confortable. The location was convenienT: walking distance to a lot of attractions. The people at the bar downstairs were noisy and we had to close our window to be able to sleep. Parking was expensive: 30$ a night.

This was a great place to stay for a short stay. The neighborhood was prefect and made me feel a part of the city not just a visitor. The rooms were simple and clean however the bed was a bit hard and didn't provide a sound nights sleep.

I lived in Boston for 12 years and found the location of the Chandler Inn wonderfully situated. I was close to a Bikram yoga studio, GREAT restaurants, awesome shopping and some pretty great gay haunts. I will look to stay here again on future visits.

Our stay was great. The location close to the station was perfect. The rooms are small, but nicely appointed. The biggest problem was the timing...we were there for the bombing lockdown. I stayed here while running the marathon. The location was perfect! It was a few blocks from the finish and the busses on Tremont. When I came back to the hotel after finishing the marathon the front desk knew who I was and congratulated me because they were following all of the guests online. Was really impressed with the Chandler in terms of service, the room and location. While small, the room was extremely clean, modern and functional with a European charm and feel. The friendly staff was really helpful and allowed me to do a really early check-in after my red-eye flight. I'd definitely stay at the Chandler again.

We were very satisfied with the stay at the Chandler Inn Hotel. The staff were nice and although the rooms were a bit small, they were very clean and beautifully maintained. The location of the hotel was a short 5-10 minute walk from the main area of Boston -- where the Freedom Trail begins -- but you're in Boston so walk around and explore! I stayed at yhe Chandler Inn for an event being held at the Hynes Convention Center. It may not have been the most immediate and convenient location, but the walk was very do-able and gave me a chance to unwind in the evenings. I don't spend much time in a hotel apart from sleeping and getting ready to go somewhere else, so this place was just fine. My usual concern with cheaper options in big cities is the shower, and as expected, it didn't get quite hot enough and the water pressure was low. The hotel was just fine, but we got a room on the second floor, which is directly above a bar. When we got back to our room in the evening, there was a line of people outside of the bar waiting for admission by the bouncer - suggesting it was perhaps more of a night club than simply a bar. I was pregnant and attending a conference, so a good night's sleep was rather important to me, but when we went downstairs to ask for a room change, the guy at the front desk said the hotel was fully booked that night -- I don't know if that was true or not. As a single woman traveling, I can't tell you how secure I felt there. The front desk was friendly and helpful. I would say the downfall was the hard, caved in matress and the noise level, for example doors slamming in the hallway, the roof top mechanical on the building across the way and the party goers at the bar on the first floor.
