I enjoyed my stay at the DoubleTree. One day housekeeping did not clean my room. The manager sent up a fruit & cheese tray which impressed me. I did notify them that channel 7 did not work on my TV. They tried to fix it, but it never did work. The room was basically clean, but the carpet needed to be cleaned and the drapes also needed to be clean. I […] will stay at this hotel again. A beautiful hotel at a good price & room service

They charge $12 per day for wifi in your room and $.50 per local phone call. I will not stay there again.

The location is OK if you have a car, I didn't and the shuttle isn't very dependable at all unless you are going to and from the airport. I was able to get the shuttle to the mall but had to take a cab back. First impression of the hotel was that it was right off of the freeway. A couple of restaurants and corner stores near by. Check in left a sour […] taste in my mouth. Nick at the front desk was a little rude, he informed me that there will be a floating $75 charge on my credit card for the 3 days that I was there, I informed him that I wasn't aware of any charges. He then told me that I could pay $25 cash and I wouldn't have to worry about the $75and that I could get my money back when I checked out. Anywho the hotel was really clean and pretty. My room was beautiful and very spacious. I took advantage of the pool and the gym, they were clean and comfortable. When I went to take the shuttle back to the hotel I had to wait because I was then told that I should have reserved one. The employees were really nice and thoughtful. Nice hotel, though it was built too fast I believe, but nothing that takes away the confort of it, just some details, especially in the bathroom.

The hotel was very comfortable, close to all the events and clients I wanted to see. the service was extraordinary, the people very friendly. I was disappointed about the internet charges in the rooms, although it was free in the lobby area, and the long distance charging was horrendous. I went to Denver to see my Kids for Christmas, While my kids are grown I did't get to see much of them. On Christmas morning I woke up to a stocking on my door with goodies. I am a type 1 diabetic and my sugar had dropped pretty low. So the oranges and choclate help me get my sugars up. It was the best hotel I ever stayed at. I loved the cookies also. […] Kevin in the dining room was a real blessing also. I love this hotel. the price was great and service wonderful.The staff helped the loneliness I was feeling due to kids being so busy. THank you. Mehr

The hotel provided shuttle service to the restaurant and back, the facility itself was clean and comfortable, and the hot tub and pool were great fun! A sports bar was right on the corner...very convenient for watching the Bronco game. (Too bad we lost!)

rooms and hallways are very clean, overall appearence is beautiful. At night the room had a very loud humming noise. But as a whole my stay was great. I would recommend this hotel highly.

We enjoyed our family get-away very much at this hotel. The beds were very comfortable, the pool was big, and the hot tub was a very nice temperature. We will stay there again.

If you just want a room, the hotel is great. However expect to be nickel and dimed to death with everything else. Supposed to be non-smoking room, it smelled like someone just had a cigarette in the room. Heating system was a puzzle and no directions, front desk gave wrong directions. No free Wi Fi in hotel! That is pretty much a given at most hotels these days. Cost quite a bit to use it in your room! Good hotel, but you have to pay $12.95 a day for WiFi.

My only complaints are that they did not have a free breakfast and they did not have free internet in their room! I could go to a super cheap hotel and get free internet. I think it's a given to have free internet in the room these days.

The staff at this hotel were very nice, and extremely helpful. The room was beautiful and perfect for our romantic get away. I will be going back and recommending DoubleTree to everyone

This hotel was close to the hospital in which a relative was staying. The surrounding area is not great but the hotel was an oasis...we were relaxing in a cabana-type bar in our bathing suits after the hot tub....while it was below freezing outside! Only downside...the restaurant. Breakfast is only included if you get a package... Not with our purchase […] on hotels.com. So we paid for it. Bu it wasn't worth it at all! Greasy, no good...go somewhere else for breakfast! Plus, if you want the continental breakfast buffet it's $15 per person. Nuts! Other than that, nice place! Mehr

Warm cookies for starters. Pleasant and comfortable room and facilities. Breakfast was hearty and varied. A decent restaurant nearby.

Nice room, big bath towel, quiet from street noise (but not from loud teens next door). Pool is very warm and nice for a swim. Hot tub also a plus. Warm cookies from the front desk their signature item, and very tasty!

Another great weekend at Doubletree Aurora !! Got a great rate on a very large room !! Lovely mountain view..Fabulous staff..

Great place to stay. Staff was courteous, professional. Rooms clean. I would definatly stay here again.

Overall the hotel is very comfortable and the staff is exceptional. Truly friendly and accomodating. Only criticism is that rooms tend to be dark and bathroom walls were dirty, with various unknown splattered substances. Still find it rather annoying that you are charged for wireless internet service, especially when it is so incredibly slow that many […] attempts time out before being fully loaded. Mehr

The warm cookies were right on time!

I enjoyed everything about the hotel however I was a little disappointed upon my arrival to find my bathroom mirror had not been cleaned from the previous guest. It made me wonder what else may have been over looked. Also I had two reservations and was contacted by the front desk in the middle of my second day wondering why my things were still in my […] room. I explained that I had already checked out and back in that morning. I wished the person would have looked further into my reservation notes before interrupting me in my class. Mehr

Great staff--room service wonderful--beds fabulous!!

Initially when we checked in, the person working behind the counter was quite rude. Although his name tag stated that he was "In Training", he could have used a course on the proper etiquette of greeting guests and checking them in. For the most part, the room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. The cleaning crew did forget to clean our room on […] the 2nd night. The front desk did apologize and explained that this was an oversight. The Room Service was adequate even though they over charged us. Once we brought this to their attention, they quickly corrected their mistake. Given the few mishaps, we would return to stay only because it is close to where our family lives that we have come to visit. Mehr

This hotel is wonderful! The rooms are oversized and very comfortable. The hotel staff is efficient and ready to please. It only takes 15 minutes to get to downtown Denver so we'll use it again on our next trip out.

I have stayed at several different hotels in Denver. Doubletree-Aurora is my new fav !! Reasonable--great breakfast--the best beds..

Once I got checked in all was fine. However, I got to the hotel at 12:15 PM, was very ill,in a great deal of pain and was told there were no rooms available until 3:30 PM. They wouldn't even check to see if a room had been cleaned that I could check into early. No attempt was made to assist me in any way. Not a good experience.

I stayed here overnight due to my grandchildren leaving in the next day from Denver,CO. Room was ready when we arrived,however, there was only 1 bed and I had requested 2. This particular room had a refrigerator and I was later told it was an upgraded room. Our next room was adequate,but when I asked where the fridge was, I was told that was an extra$10 […] per night!!!! No micro either!!!! We had to go down to the business center to heat food in the microwave, along with our fellow travelers....guess we all felt the same.... embarassed.... However, the cookies were good! p.s.no internet either,unless you went to... where else, the business center. Heat your dinner and check out your email... in the middle of the hotel,lol. Next time go to Country Inn and Suites, it's all included..... great breakfast there too... free! Mehr

The Hotel was very nice, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only problem was that I bought the room on line and was given a Smoking room I did not know this until I went back and looked at the confirmation. It really did smell awful, and made my clothes and everything in my suit case smell like stale smoke. So it was not worth it for me. […] I would never consider that type of room again. I have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. My first night however, my room was next to the stairwell door and was a little noisy. I called in the morning to request a different room, and was given a different room within 15 minutes. Front desk staff was very considerate and helpful, the same for housekeeping. Positives: Excellent location in Aurora, right off the freeway. Friendly staff and free cookies! Hotel has a nice layout and is very clean overall. Free shuttle service to airport and anywhere within 5 miles. Negatives: They charge for Wifi in your room (it's only free if you use it in their business center). Our shower curtain was not mounted properly […] and was very dirty. The bed did not have the most comfortable mattress. I had to crawl under the desk to plug in the refrigerator (In my opinion, if a refrigerator is offered as an amenity, it should be ready for use upon arrival). Mehr

We stay in Denver every few months & have stayed in several in the Stapleton/Aurora area. Doubletree Southeast is our new favorite !! The staff were great, the room service fabulous & the restaurant equally fine. Very easy to find & get to--Kids loved the pool. We may have gotten lucky & got a memorial weekend special, but the room rate was most excellant.. […] The room was made up every day--bathroom immaculate..room carpet was a bit stained--but that would be the only thing remotely negative. I needed a soda and bottle of water, went to 3 different floors and the vending machines were empty. Went to front desk and they didn't have access to the machines. There were no sodas or bottled water to be had!!! Not good

Careful not to get lured into the breakfast area! My friend and I thought it was the complimentary breakfast and surprise, we got a bill for $25. It would have been nice to know that it didnt come with the room. Other than that, it was wonderful! Nice staff, comfy rooms, and super easy to find!
