Value, location and they give you cookies! Love it! I will never stay in the La Quinta down the highway again. I am very happy to of found the Doubletree.

There was a military ball the weekend of my stay. Noise galore!!!! Not to mention, that when we left for dinner, the ball guests were playing on the elevators & had pushed the button on every floor. So yes! The elevators going up & down stopped on each floor!

We really enjoyed the hotel and the comedy club on the first floor. The staff was friendly and very helpful! I will definitely consider going back!

We stayed on the 20th floor and there was a party with LOUD music on the 21st (top) floor. We called the front desk at midnight and were told that the party won't end till 1:00 a.m. It lasted until about 1:30 and then there were people in the hallway yelling and singing until 2:30. Room was clean. Checkin and checkout was easy. Only issues were that room had a heavy fragrance smell (apparently from housekeeping) and alarm clock was showing incorrect time. Front desk offered to fix both issues.

Really enjoyed the room, great location, on site entertainment, food, and bar. Great environment and friendly staff

Great price for the room, location, service and clean.

We've stayed here before and returned due to the convenient location and affordable cost for a pretty nice hotel. This time, there were some dingy and peeling, chipped, cracked things in room - just starting to need some updates. Keys didn't work well for us or our friends in another room. I have loved this Double Tree since it opened a long time ago. Always have had a fabulous experience at this hotel. Fabulous views close to everything you might want to do in Dallas. I live locally and come stay here for fun on the weekends. Great bar great food wonderful time!

The hotel is next to a train track! TOO NOISY!!!

I always stay at this motel when I am in the area. It is quiet, comfortable and well located for my purposes. The staff is cordial and efficient.

We have not stayed at this Doubletree for years, but when our children were young we stayed there ever Christmas night! Being in town for a concert downtown and shopping at Northpark we thought we would give it a try. It is beautifully decorated and Remodeled since our last visit. Nice hotel, stayed for new years eve. Good service, very clean, would come back again.

Hotel parking lot was full of constrution barriers, but otherwise this was an excellent choice. Very clean, attentive service. I put our visiting wedding guests up here and they were all impressed. The location is superb.

Walkable distance to decent dining on Greenville, or a quick cab ride to plenty of dining/shopping choices. The DART train runs adjacent to hotel, making downtown and greater Dallas easily accessible through public transit (but you have to walk a bit to the trainstop). The Doubletree looked nice in the lobby and I was very happy. Then the ride up was warm in elevator and the hallway to my room did not smell fresh .....BUT WHEN I OPENED THE DOOR all was forgotten! Hotel was nice, but the service could of been better. There were 2 people at the front desk but only one was checking people in. There wasnt anyone one on the front drive to help get a cab on my way out. Would expect a hotel this not to have these issues but everything else was good. Clean room, good location, and good hotel crowd.

I have stayed in more comfortable hotels, but it's not bad for a night or so. The shower did not drain, the water would not cool properly, and the bed was a wee bit firm, however, the room was clean and the view was really nice at night. I would stay there again for a night.

Stayed N Y Eve, and hotel was very quiet and well maintained. No noise disturbances. Hot, fresh cookie was a nice touch at Check In

We had to check into the hotel after 2:00 AM. There was no problem checking in, and we were informed there was a 2:00 PM checkout time the next day, which was great! For some reason, our clock was 2 hours early when we woke up the next morning - so our clock said 11:00 AM when it was actually 1:00 PM. The room was pretty quiet and the only other issue was that the hot water in the shower and faucet was slow to come on when we used it after midnight. Other than that, it was great! I really enjoy my stays at most Doubletree Hotels. This one was only ok. First I couldn't cool the room below 70 degrees. Now for most people that is ok, but I like to sleep with the room cold. Speaking of sleep... the bed was so hard it was uncomfortable. That made it hard to sleep. Probably will ask more questions before I return to this hotel.

Dirty dishes were sitting on the floor in the hallway Saturday late afternoon when we arrived. We reported it to the front desk. They were still there the next morning when we went down for coffee. We reported it again. Still there when we checked out. We had our copies of our booking from Hotels.com showing our bill pre paid in full. Which was acknowledged […] when we checked in but when checking out, the front desk said we needed to pay. They didn't want to take the time to verify payment with Hotels.com until we took out our phone to call to clear up the matter before leaving the hotel. SHAME ON HOTELS.COM FOR PUTTING US IN THIS SITUATION WITH OUR BILL.MAKING US FEEL LIKE WE WERE TRYING NOT TO PAY OUR BILL. Mehr

I went with all our family to our sons graduation at SMU and we were very happy to be so close to the university. The attention was very good and we recomend this hotel very much.

Pros: The location is great, parking is free, people are nice. Cons: -I realized on my 2nd night that there were cheeto crumbs in the sofa. I didn't eat cheetos during my stay. So either the room wasn't cleaned upon my check-in, or someone was hanging out eating cheese puffs on the couch while I was out. Either way, gross. -Upon check-in, my bottle […] of water wasn't there. The price tag was, but no bottle. -There was dust/dirt on the toilet tank, in corners of the floor in the bedroom and bathroom, on the desk, on the TV stand, on the night table, on the information pamphlets in the room, etc... -Wi-fi is only complimentary from the business center. 1. The drive up entry was very confusing and telecon to get directions was not helpful to get to the front of the hotel which required a concoluted entry. Front desk did not help with 1 above. Front desk did not volunteer to give me the garage parking entry code (good thing I asked,) Nor did they give directions to make several turns to get to the spaces […] for hetel only parking. Ihad a wonderful room with a view to die for along with the most fantastic food from of all places-Room Service. I slept like a baby and started out my business day feeling refreshed and ready for anything including my cohorts at the Dallas ead Society meeting and Christmas Party. Thank you so much.

The hotel looks great from the outside and lobby but rooms lack a little. Feel old. Also no pool facilities I expect that in a hotell of this class.

The Doubletree staff; Eric, Monica, Lance and Safia were great in helping me surprise my boyfriend for his birthday. He had no idea what was going until we walked in the room. All staff included three shifts! Each person kept the "act" up, of me just wanting to view a room; knowing I had already booked it.

1st night at the hotel, we flush the commode and it overflows, bathroom is flooded !!! At least maintenance arrived in 5 miutes, to fix it. Next 2 nights we experienced a very loud lobby - some school function.

The food was pretty decent. Loved the fish tacos. Great hospitality. Did not like being in the back of the hotel....I could hear the trains coming through every few minutes. Would I return...yes...but would not be placed in the back of the hotel.

The hotel is esay to access from Central Expressway, but when exiting I was forced onto Loop 12 going east without knowing it. The main problem I had with the room was that there was a constant droning noise when persisted even when the air conditioning unit is not on. I booked a single room with a King size bed, but when I arrived, got a queen room instead. I did not arrive until 1:30am, so did not feel like putting up a fight. There was no soap or shampoo in the room either. Very unhappy with this reservation.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we were greeted with warm cookies! Very nice feel to the hotel, and was very close to the North Park Mall which was the reason for our trip. Note though, that there is no microwave or refrigerator although we didn't need them this time. (They may be in some of the higher rooms-I didn't check.) We tried to […] watch a movie connecting a portable dvd player-which has always worked on other hotels- but they have disabled their connections. Close to SMU. . Room was no so clean and the Housekeeping was terrible . The restaurant was so so. I would not recommend .

Overall nice hotel. It is in need of upgrades and renovations. The rooms and hallways show their age. The rooms are clean but you can tell it's older. Good hotel for the price!
