Für eine Nacht ist das Hotel ok. Im Zimmer etwas schmudelige Teppiche. Pool und Anlage in Ordnung.

It was pretty good, its just that the breakfast needs to add more to the menu.

This hotel is priced right

Hospitality was great. original arrival was an uproar.

Everything was fine. We had 3 different rooms in 3 different spots of the hotel and were worried due to the previous negative comments. Everything exceeded our expectation within the room. The surrounding neighborhood was the only negative. A bargin in my opinion.

I must say the room was very clean, staff was friendly and sufficient. Great TV with 60 HD Channels. Incl. several sport & movie channels. It was definitely a big plus. We went to see a game of the Tampa Bay Rays, and Tropicana Field was a 6 min drive. So the location was great. You can find enough possibilities to eat, in a walking distance of 10 m. […] I surely would recommend this hotel if you're staying over in St. Pete. Mehr

ItI was pleasently suprised by the hotel because of the negative reviews posted by others. The room was nice amd clean and the beds were extremely soft. The property looked well maintained and the staff were extremely friendly. The only negatives about the hotel were that the fountain was not working and the neighbourhood. It was off of a busy road […] with some more rundown motels around it; but I did feel safe on the property because of the cameras and the office being open 24 hours. The room did not have a fridge and was also short on towels. The breakfast area should have a tip jar for the employee because she was a very hard worker..

We were satisfied with the stay. We were unhappy with one night due to a dog barking all night and someone hollering all night for it to shut up. Then the next night, two women were fighting outside their room. This went on for some time. There was also one morning when a group of young boys switched the labels on the juice fountain so they could watch […] the reactions of people coming in. I was impressed. Decent for the price, very clean and service was great. The kids loved the continental breakfast :)

Not perfect, but worth the price. The staff were friendly and on the ball. The room show expected signs of use, with water stains on the bathroom floor and such. But nothing that would prevent me from staying there again. aside from the fact that there was limited availability of eats and drinks within walking distance. This hotel does not look like any other Quinta we have tried. It is clear that this was an older hotel/motel building bought by La Quinta. The staff service and breakfast was the as always excellent La Quinta standard. However the building needs a little upkeep, the internet did have problems with coverage during our stay, and bathroom had small […] ant infestation, which seemed the staff already knew. The room was a non-smoker but smelled like an old smoking room due to the smell of air freshener inside the room. Mehr

We only needed a room to crash for the night and that is what this hotel provides. The rooms are basic as is the provided breakfast. The pool area seemed nice and it was easy to get to from the highway. I would recommend this hotel for those who are visiting family or just need a place to stay along their way south.

Room smells cigarret smoke , fisrt night when we checked in room carpet was dirty we fonund toe neils and dog's cookies on the floor. sencond nigth was better because they cleaned the room for us.

The rooms were clean and the bed was super comfortable. Nice courtyard too! The only issue I had was with the neighborhood...leaves little to be desired

Quite reasonable for the price this time of year. The breakfast was a little lacking in variety. The wireless internet wasn't functional in the room, but worked when I stepped outside.

Personnel was vey friendly. not able to help with issues I had carpet was dirty. had to wear socks or shoes. cobwebs on ledge above closet. closet door difficult to open. cigarette burn holes in the bespread

The bathroom was filthy had hair all over, and no water pressure, so on second night we changed rooms and the bathroom had hair all over that one too. The housekeepers need training on how to clean bathrooms and floors

I travel a great deal and had the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel at this property. There were bugs in my room, the staff was not attentive, the rooms are small, the room was not clean, the paint on the ceiling was coming off, the surrounding neighborhood is marginal at best and the front desk person was rude at check-in. Honestly, I never really write reviews- but after my stay here....I will probably NEVER stay at a LaQuinta again. I had booked this for an overnight trip for work and as I pulled in, had some doubts as the Ramada Inn next door was shut down and covered in Police tape. Also, it was a very sketchy area. It was somewhat clean as I entered the lobby, but […] was disappointed when I saw hotel staff just lounging at the desk, unable to help as their was a line. Ok, now onto the room.... I got a king bed and room on the end. As I walked in, it was somewhat clean. It had cement walls and I heard barking from a dog beneath me. The night turned into a terror. All I heard was a barking dog ALL night beneath me and *risky* business going on on the other side of me. Needless to say- the walls are VERY thin. I wore socks in the room and they were almost black the next morning- floors extremely dirty. And to top it off- there were ANTS all over the counter and on my toiletries the next morning, as well as hair in the sink and shower. PLUS, the toilet dripped all night and I had to develop a make-shift with my hairbrush to stop the noise. Needless to say- I had a sleepless night and will NEVER stay at a LaQuinta again. Mehr

Location worked when you have dogs in tow and are coming to run the Rock n Roll Marathon in St Petersburg. What was unpleasant was the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hotel room. It didn't seem so bad when we checked in. We came back later that night and went to bed only to wake up with bad soar throats and serious allergy problems. Then there […] was the crazy crowd that seemed to hangout in the parking lot on occasion that were really loud. Cars dropped people off and picked people up all night...hmmm. Next came the cab driver that came knocking at our door for pick up between 3:00 to 4:00 in the morning twice knocking on the door. Who needs to be picked up at a hotel at that time of night. Beds were fine and the bathrooms could use some thorough cleaning. The hotel lobby and breakfast room seemed nice; we didn't get to use it. They do have a small dog park in the back with poop bags that counts for something. Surrounding neighborhood seemed a little sketchy. I guess I wouldn't recommend this hotel given the unusual circumstances or smoky nonsmoking room. If I would have had a clean smelling room with no loiterers or weird cab drivers I would have given it a 3 star rating. We travel with our dogs and stay at La Quinta a bit; so we were disappointed. But if you do stay here check your room and make sure it is suitable before you go out on an adventure and make sure you get a decent room. Hope this helps! Mehr

The information I received on the web gave a pretty true picture of the room I saw when I arrived. It was clean, but the bathroom and fixtures were a bit dated. The staff was very cordial and the breakfast and dining quarters were adequate. All in all it was ok for what we were looking for. Nothing too fancy, Well lit outside, near restaurants, clean […] beds, and a somewhat quiet environment, ok. I did get the impression some of the hotel guests actually lived there, but I am not sure. I had hoped that there would have been a better choice of restaurants close to the hotel however there were not.

The room was not touched 3 days out of the 5 we stayed there. The beds weren't made or the room cleaned. Not at all satisfactory.

We loved the Spanish-style appearance and the setting around the (heated) pool. The breakfast was excellent. A great value for a great price (Christmas Day, no less!!)

Nice room. Carpets were stained but room was clean. New HD TV's was very nice!!!! Conveinent location and easy sign in and sign out.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were very clean and the hotel was quiet. We had to take the room because the hotel is pet friendly. We read the negative reviews and none of them were true. We booked our room at 8pm got there at 3:30 am. They had us as a cancel no show. Then our room stunk of cigarettes so bad that i had to buy spray air freshener. Then the bed had bed bugs. My fiance has red marks all over her arms and me on my legs and my head! Then at 9am, they knocked on my door and asked us to leave. Then at 11am They asked us to […] leave. Then at 1230 they called and told me that they billed my credit card after i had paid online. We left and when we returned the smoke smell was back so i sprayed again. The next morning at 8 they knocked on the door and asked us to leave, we told them again we were there for two days. Room service knocked again at 9:30, then the they came back again at 11 and asked if we were checking out. Then the receptionist argued with us in reference to when we were supposed to leave. and charging my card an extra 170.00. So if i call it horrible it would be exaggerating. It was much worse. Mehr

In the middle of the night two jumbo busses arrived filled with University of Florida students arrived and it was party central on all sides until after midnight. When I turned the light on to call the front desk and complain, I saw a roach crawl across the night stand and disappear into a drawer. For what we were looking for, this was a fair priced hotel. If you're looking for a true vacation spot, this isn't the hotel for you. The air conditioner made horrible noises and woke me up several times a night and the shower was either way too hot or not nearly warm enough, but the stay overall was good and the lady at the front desk was very friendly […] when we checked in, despite being very busy with a phone ringing off the hook without any assistance. We were very surprised at the beautiful landscaping of the courtyard outside our room. The pool area is like a little oasis in the middle of St. Petersburg. The room was comfy and clean although there was a faint odor when we first entered. The continental breakfast was as usual but the dining room, although in an obviously older building was just charming […] and spotlessly clean. My daughter and I stayed while at a soccer tournament. There was a loud group elsewhere in the hotel, but the staff made sure we were well away from them and we didn't notice them once we got to our room. The staff gave good recommendations for eating out. The room was a little small, but fine for the two of us. Very nice hotel, especially for the  […] price. Mehr

Room was clean and with the exception of a few noisy guests congregating outside of my room at an early hour, my stay was pleasant.

My first room was a disaster-dirty, food left in the microwave, heavily smoked in and smelled terrible etc... Thankfully-Chris at the front desk moved me to a different room! He deserves extra "Kudos" for trying to make everything right. 2nd room had an ant problem though. Basically, all rooms need to be renovated and updated. My son got married the weekend of 9/10/11. I was looking for an economical place to stay for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding as well. He lives close to this particular motel and some other MORE EXPENSIVE motels. HOTELS.COM found me a great price. This courtyard with the fountain and foilage and pool was BEAUTIFUL. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very nice and upkept.

Room does not include a fridge unless you ask for one during check-in. Does not have a computer to use in the lobby. Best thing is the Denny's resturant next door. Too many people hanging around outside the hotel, friends of the people who work there.

The hotel is located in an ugly part of town. We saw a homeless person sleeping under a bench just outside the hotel grounds. Our neighbors were pot heads. Caught a nice buzz as one of their many small CHILDREN opened their hotel room door when we were walking by. Their party was very loud. I finally fell asleep around 3 am to the sound of yelling, […] music and laughing. My wife said she heard the noise even as the 7:00 hour was approaching. Live and learn. Mehr

Hotel was clean and beautiful I would stay again ! If fact I can't wait too. Breakfast is awesome
