Fresh breakfast very clean room great location to a lot of restaurants and highway had a great time

Very friendly staff. Breakfast shut down a half hour early, but other than that it was fine.

I stayed in the motel on the trip down reserved thru you and all was good. We stopped by on the return trip and had multiple problems a broken bed unsafe for the 80 year olds with us and the phone ringing at all hours we complained but received no satisfaction so am not to happy with them after the second stay

No issues. Breakfast was good. Great value for the money

The hotel staff was very friendly which made it easy to over look the run down nature of the place. I think it is just an old hotel. The rooms did not feel clean to me. Maybe that is becuase they use to allow people to smoke in them. We had ants in our sink too which I just washed down the drain each morning. There is a Denny's attached and you get […] a 10% discount there with your room key so that was a plus as well. Mehr

The room was ample size. The beds were very comfortable. The grounds were very well kept. We got a 10% discount when we ate at the attached Denny's restraunt.

The hotel was old and you could certainly tell it. We stayed on the second floor and when going down the hallway (outside), it was very slanted with raggedy carpet. It felt very unsafe. Inside they had new carpet and it was great. Old doesn't bother me unless it's totally worn out. The tub was old and I would not sit in it and neither would my kids, […] we took showers with flip flops. All in all though the beds were comfortable, the people very nice and pleasant. Very good hotel for the price. Convenient place (near interstate), very kind stuff. 24 hrs Denny's on site. Good continental breakfast, wi-fi and pool - everything was very good.

Room was average and they only had smoking rooms on the second floor, which wasn't acceptable to me because I was travelling with my dog and they didn't have an elevator and I had heavy luggage.Also, I was able to connect to their wireless network but couldn't connect to the internet.

The hotel itself is very run down. The room was tiny. So glad we only stayed one night. The "continental" breakfast was not really even continental and there were only 3 tables to sit at. Don't know what they do if there is a "rush" on breakfast. The towels were thin and rough. We wanted a non-smoking room but it was clear that it had been a smoking […] room. Will not stay here again. Right off I-65. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Room was small but we only slept there. 24 hr Denny's on-site if continental breakfast is not enough to eat. The only complaint is that staff did not tell us our key would expire after 3rd day and that was an inconvenience when we returned to our room at midnight and the key did not work. They re-keyed […] for us but did NOT ask for ID and this desk clerk had not met me or my husband which made us think anybody could have walked in with a key and asked to have it rekeyed for any room they wanted and walked right in. The rooms were very clean and nice. Bathrooms were a little small and cramped, but we didn't spend a lot of rec time in there. Close to Ft. Knox, and some other attractions. For a fabulous meal, eat at the Stone Hearth Restaurant just down the road. (Best brunch in Kentucky!!!) Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definatley stay here […] again Mehr

Most people working were great except young man we cked in with. Coffee pot didn't work properly, Lots of bird droppings we tracked in near door. Pool was a gross green and ugly to look at. You had to walk outside to get to front lobby. I would not stay there again.

This was a good basic hotel the breakfast wasn't the best I have found at other Days Inn. Beds were good will stay there again.

I spent one night in Elizabethtown, KY. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The lobby was very nice and the gift shop a real plus!!! It is in close proximity to many nice places to eat. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had a small dog. We paid the hotel pet fee at check in. I called and told the lady at the front desk to please make sure our room was cleaned, and we have our dog in her kennel. she said she would let the maids know. We came back 5 hours later and our room was still not cleaned. The next morning the lady said […] the maid thought the dog was right by the front door and therefore did not make up our room. I will not stay in this hotel again. Mehr

This hotel was great. Clean and maintained. It has a Denny's and a gift shop which are both nice. The continental breakfast was wonderful and the area was very clean. The only thing I did not like were the new coffee makers in the room. They don't have coffee pots anymore. If you put just enough coffee in the maker for one cup it is too strong. If you […] put enough in for two cups it is very messy switching out cups. I think they should go back to coffee pots. That was my only complaint. Mehr

This was not the best of hotels to stay in but it was convenient if you are going to a Kentucky Wildcats game traveling from the South. It's about an hour from the stadium. Thank goodness we only had to stay there one night. Probably wouldn't go back if I had to stay 2 nights.

Our room had some problems - like the phone was unplugged when we first checked in, and the nightstand lamp was unplugged as well. When we plugged in the lamp, we then discovered the lamp on/off switch was broken. The room was in need of a make-over. The bathroom tiles need regrouting and more "counter space" We did not have a luggage stand to put […] our suitcases on but there was plenty of floor space to put our stuff. The staff were extremely nice and helpful in answering all our questions. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot and had plenty of water pressure. Overall it was a nice place to stay, close to the interstate, restaurants, other hotels, and the visitors center. Mehr

We stayed here because we were going to boot camp graduation. The location was fine but the room was gross. Lights didn't work. When taking shower I stood in calf length water because of draining problems. The room smelled funny. The cable was not good and tv was fuzzy and outdated.If I ever go back to KY I will never stay at this hotel.

Fine for a one night stop. Breakfast was very skimpy, not like the other Days Inn we stayed at in Jackson, TN. Clerk was polite.

this was the worst experience we have ever had. Thanks goodness we only stayed one night. The room smelled, There was a dead cockroach under the toilet, the ice machines did not work and the continental breakfast consisted of some fruit, stale bagels (no cream cheese) and cereal. We expected more for the price. Never again...

I was traveling with me 16 yr old son. So when I got there I expected a 2 bed non-smoking room. What i got was a single queen bed and a smoking room. I woke up in the morning and before departing had to iron a shirt. Big mistake...the iron was so broke any 5 year old could have looked at it and see it would never work. will never stay here again!

A typical budget hotel with signs of middle age but adequate accomodations, friendly staff , nice pool and a good breakfast.

Good location for Fort Knox - Louisville is 45 miles to the north. Priced right. A dozen or more good restaurants within half a mile.

I guess you get what you pay for. The hotel is dingy, and in need of remodeling. Patched tiles in the bathroom didn't match the rest, also a big patch in the bathroom ceiling was obvious. Everything was very worn.

The motel was very easy to find and conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. It is an older facility, so it could use some updating, but the room was comfortable and quiet.

We were traveling in a small group and needed additional rooms when we arrived the hotel staff was very helpful.Andre at the front desk was great reccomended several local restaurants that were excellent and gave us discounts because of our hotel stay.
