Vagabond Inn San Jose Airport - San José

The customer service was great! This is not a four star hotel, but I did not pay for a four star hotel and my needs were met. I stayed for three nights. The continental breakfast was basic, but welcome, and I actually would stay here again.

The sheets were clean but I didn't like the orange maybe it would have been better had it all been yellow and the carpet didn't meet the wall on the bed side. It was clean and if you just need somewhere to sleep this is your hotel. Breakfast was provided which was awesome. only two pillows on each bed if someone else was sleeping in the same bed you […] would need to request two more pillows. The hotel was cheaper than the others in the area for a reason. It was rundown and not in a very good area. I didn't arrive until 2:00 a.m. and was starving! There is a 24 hour Denny's right next door which was a life saver. The fridge and microwave weren't working when I arrived so I called the front desk and she asked me to check to see if they were […] plugged in. They weren't. There was an old bag of salad in the fridge which kinda grossed me out and tells me they didn't clean it after the last guests. All in all, you get what you pay for. Mehr

Very professional run hotel....would. stay again....

Reservation was smooth, check-in at 10PM smooth, parking for my pickup and trailer easy and safe, Denny's in same parking lot. Price was OK. I will use again.

All we needed was a place to stay after a hockey game in San Jose. This is nothing fancy and for what you pay for it it's just that a place to sleep. But there is a Denny's conveniently located in the same parking lot as the hotel so that was really nice.

Two things stand out about this hotel. First, it is located in a very rough area - one I certainly wouldn't want to find myself in after dark. secondly, my room key didn't work ! What's worse the hotel management did nothing about it. I had to have them call maintenance to let me in my room every day. The management couldn't have cared less. needs better pillows, and maintenance on toilet , and the door needs sealed otherwise good.

Low price with Free Head/Body Lice .... Should avoid this place like the plauge unless your a Pimp or a Hoe ! Would not even put my Ex-wife in this place ....

Carpet was torn.mold in the bathroom. Hottub broken.

This location is in a bad neighborhood. This property is way overpriced.

Decent place with gracious service. convenient 24 hr Dennys right there

I was placed in the non-smoking section, but it still smelled like a combination of cigarettes and mold. Very bad smell.

This hotel is a great deal for the following reasons: Location: close to the airport and walking distance to several large hotels that host conferences and conventions. However it is not noisy as it is not under the flight path. Very close to the Airport station of the light rail. There are also several restaurants within walking distance (including […] a Denny's right by the motel). The neighborhood seemed safe. Room: Somewhat larger than the typical motel room. The bathroom was also nice with floor to ceiling tiles. Everything was clean when I checked in. Wireless internet is free and of good quality. The room had a microwave and fridge. This is a 2 star hotel so do not go there with high expectations. The breakfast was not that great, and it had the minimum quantities of a complementry breakfast.
