Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal im Hilton San Diego Airport - Harbor Island. Preis Leistung stimmt. Frühstück ist klasse. Zimmer sauber und ausreichend groß. Als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen sehr gut. Aber die Lage ist das Beste. Wunderschöner Blick auf San Diego, auf die Brücke, auf die Bay und auf einen Jachthafen. It was a nice room, but large hotels rarely have the amenities I would really like such as a refrigerator. And how much could it cost to serve breakfast? I have had nice breakfasts in hotels where I have paid a lot less. Because we got the rooms at a discount breakfast was not included. Also it sounded as if someone was doing repairs to the room next […] door at 7AM on a Sunday morning. Really? Also our shower did not work properly. When you pushed the diverter to use the shower only a fraction of the water actually came out of the shower nozzle, the rest was still coming out of the bath faucet filling up the tub as you showered. But on the plus side the bed was extremely comfortable and the fluffy duvet was nice. Also there was a nice little balcony with chairs and the sliding doors let in wonderful fresh air. Mehr

Very nice hotel located behind San Diego Airport on Harbor Island. It overlooks bay and marina. Nice amenities and fairly close to downtown area. Parking is $19. Room clean and comfortable. Only one issue: you can hear other room's doors slam shut all the time.

I like this hotel just fine. I was a bit surprised that the room type that I reserved was not available when I arrived. They reminded me of the small print, but it still was a bit of a surprise as they are rarely full.

It was a very comfortable stay. Great costumer service from Mariah and staff .. Will stay there again. Only inconvinience was away from restaurant...

Stayed here for one night. I booked the harbor view which has a great view. My son got so excited when he saw a military ship(carrier) passing by. We arrived early and receptionist was able to checked us in early which I really appreciate so we can go to where we want to see on time. My son (7 yr old) so love this hotel.

Watch out for the hidden fees!!! I had to argue to the hotel. The fees aren't disclosed. The name is Hilton, but the hotel is not a Hilton quality.

Value for money was good but in our second night tnere was water that leaked to our room. Pretty gross. Reported to mgmt and tney credit the 2 day parking fee, tbey should have credited the 1 night stay.

Really nice views awesome site would stay there again.

Charged $20 per day for parking a and $11.95 for internet use. Staff is offended by booking through hotels.com and not direct because of the discount price

1. If you want room with ocean view...please call and confirm. By default U DON'T GET OCEAN VIEW!!!! We were stuck with a pool view on the back side of the hotel! 2. They CHARGE $20/day per car parking!!!! Is this Hilton or some sort of cheap motel! Even they don't charge for parking. 3. Throughout the night and day they were large gushes of water pressure […] noises in the bathroom. It felt like we are in a ship! They have plumbing issues. 4. When we entered there was only one towel and in the shower cap box there was no shower cap!!!! Don't go to this Hilton...it's definitely not worth the price..... Mehr

It has a very nice and quiet environment, very nice view,but walls are too thin so if your next door be noisy you can't sleep at all!!!

checked in on a Sat night before an early Sunday flight: was assigned to a single-bed room (for 4 people) and found that the bathroom had not been cleaned. waited 1hr with very tired children for a rollaway bed (which I had to protest to get comped despite our reservation for a two-bed room). front desk people threw up their hands several times and […] said they were doing everything, then they spent a long time instructing other guests where to find a downtown club. not impressed. hotel was easy to get to and from for a layover room was nice size, too bad i could not take advantage of the harbor view. bed ok, bath was small and in real need of upgrade, tub paint was pealing and water pressure was horrible. food in the restaurant was overpriced as usual for this location, but offered a decent variety of choices for both healthy […] and non alike. shuttle was a plus and made my trip effortless. We had great service on our little vaca in San Diego. The staff at the front desk were very hospitable and helpful. My boyfriend left his cell phone charger at home and one of the ladies at the front desk charged it for him with her personal charger. Great location, the hotel is close to old town sd and other great areas of the city. And the VIEW, well, […] it was nothing short of spectacular. Located 10 minutes drive from downtown. Good price value, except very high parking cost.. Scenic views from all rooms. Rooms small and advertised Queen bed was actually a double. Fairly noisy; bed upstairs needed WD40. Hotel would not recognize Hilton Honors card due to booking through Hotel.Com. Annoying!

Close to Downtown, and Airport but not noisy shuttle services starts a 4:30am -staff was very accomendating and room view of the harbor was excellant. Food at hotel was good but not great and not piping hot. Decor was above aveage and clean.

Goodchoice,Resort fee, such as Internet, Parking ,gets expensive

I must say, this hotel really stood out, service was excellent and they went out of their way to help with shuttle services. Location is really great too. Would definitely recommend it,

The hotel was really nice and clean. The view was beautiful, from the ninth floor. It was a great experience, we will be back in the summer.

$19 for parking is a little too much

Nestled on the Harbor in San Diego, this hotel is clean and quiet. Good views of harbor on one side, and of yacht harbor on 2 sides (this is a 3 sided bldg). Close access to downtown and zoo, Sea World, beaches. Need an auto to be mobile - no bus service at this location.

I travel much more than the avg person, usually spending about 3 months a year on the road....This Hilton was more like an average mid-level hotel chain. Room was OK, but not even on par with lower end Hiltons. There are better choices within walking distance.

I will never understand why a hotel needs to place guests in adjoining rooms instead of spreading them out with a room in between. We were in a wing where from the cars parked in the area, very few of us were staying there. But they placed a guy next door to us that decided to watch a movie starting at 9pm. Unfortunately, it must have been a comedy […] because we kept hearing him laughing. Then this morning at 6am, he precedes to tell some person on the phone all about it. We turned on our tv to try to sleep just to drown him out. Mehr

This is my favorite place to stay when visiting my son in San Diego. You can see the water from all sides, parking is easy, there is virtually no traffic and there are nice parks to watch the sunsets and the cruise ships come in.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us comfotable - even accomodating a late night visit to the bar after the wedding we attended was over. The room was very clean and comfortable, I loved how it smelled clean without the overkill of cleaning products. I am so looking forward to going back to […] just hang out and enjoy the sites! Mehr

The room was very nice-- spacious and well equipped. There was a charge for wifi but service was OK. The shuttle to the airport was free and it leaves on demand. If you don't have a car, you will need a cab to go anywhere, but the front desk will call for you, and they do come quickly. Breakfast was nice but not cheap. The in-room coffee was better […] than usual for a hotel. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We saved money on the zoo with the brochures they mentioned to us. Mehr

We had a great stay,everything with and around the HILTON SAN DIEGO AIRPORT HARBOR ISLAND was perfect we will be back for sure

Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were nice and the balcony view was great. The room did not have a refrigerator which would gave been nice, internet and parking was extra, I think for 2 days it was around fifty for parking. I've stayed at cheaper hotels that offered more but I guess that's just the 'Hilltons' standard. The view was nice but from […] out on the balcony the convex shape of the building offered a view of all the surrounding rooms, not the best privacy. Mehr

I was disappointed at a parking charge of $19 and internet charge of $15 per day extra but did enjoy the location.
