I've stayed at thsi property a number of times on business as it is close to my sales reps home. The front desk help seems to be preoccupied even when talking with you. A number of times I stopped by the front desk with no one there! Breakfast was crazy. The good news - lots of guests must have been staying at the hotel. Bad news, there was almost nothing […] to eat and the staff didn't seem to be in any hurry to restock anything. The elevators are terribly slow - especially if you are staying on one of the higher floors. Seems like this hotel gets away with a lack of maintenance because there are few choices in the area. We went to Disneyland one day, and California Adventure the next day. I called the hotel and let them know that we would be doing a late check-in. They said it was no problem. We arrived at 12:30am, and the rooms we clean, the beds were very comfortable, they had black out curtains so that we could sleep in a little. The staff was courteous, and check […] out was a breeze. Stay was pleasant..... one surprise is the Hotel is supposed to be smoke free---- Monday evening, an accidental trip to the 3rd floor resulted in the elevator opening into a hallway filled with cigaratte smoke... apparently there was alot of smoking INSIDE the Hotel on the 3rd floor !

The La Quinta inn in Buena Park was very comfortable and affordable. We liked being so close to local attractions like Disneyland, Medievil Times, and Universal Studios. Very easy access to major freeways. Good breakfast. The staff was very helpful with directions.

Our room was very clean. The hotel was well maintained in a safe area. It only took about 10 minutes to get to Disneyland. The complimentary breakfast was great (hard boiled eggs, cereal, juice, coffee, milk, yogurt, bagels, muffins, even had a waffle maker). We were very pleased and would definitely use them again in the future.

We're stayed at this place earlier this year and liked the experience. This time however we checked in close to midnight after a long drive from San Francisco. Front desk Dave tried to give us a room meant for Handicaps in a bid to sell our pre-booked and pre-paid rooms at a higher price. We had 2 rooms for 3 days. The room was nice and quiet. People at the reception friendly. But I found a large mold spot in the bathroom. Nothing for people with allergies. The breakfast was also not good.

It was good for the money. The TV was outdated and fuzzy and the breakfast area was really crowded and unorganized. It would be good if they had more stations for the breakfast items. Some hotels have a separate breakfast area for preferred guests which is nice so that you don't have to fight for a table with the tour buses and family reunions. a/c in hallway was broken and it was very humid and hot. the a/c in the room was inadequate and barely cooled us off.

The hotel was comfortable, staff was friendly. I found the breakfast area to be a bit crowded most of the time. A little redesign of the set up would make it more efficient to access breakfast

We enjoyed the hotel, and would stay there again if the need arose.

Positives: Very satisfied with the value, free parking, balcony room, pool was always clean and empty, service was good, continental breakfast was ok. good highway access, food and starbucks nearby. Negatives: key cards dd not work on several occasions, a/c had a little trouble on hot days

We arrived on a Saturday evening around 6pm and the front desk gentleman was very friendly and courteous. Check in took five minutes and we got room 707 (the top) when we asked for a quiet room. I love this hotel because it has interior hallway. We had a king non-smoking. The bed was firm and comfy. The bathroom doors were like french doors opened outwards […] but the bathroom was sort of small. I wish there were more bars to hang the towels. Towels were on the thin side. Complimentary breakfast consisted of cereals, packet oatmeal, slices of bread, bagels, make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, apple & orange juices, coffee & tea....enough to start you off. The breakfast room was good size with about 14 round tables that can seat 4 people max. Lobby was good. The location was convenient for us because we wanted somewhere between Cerritos and Fullerton...perfect right off freeway 91. Please give this place a try...great place if you heading to Knotts Berry Farm. Mehr

Nice location, several eateries and resturants in the area. Only 5 min. from Knottsberry Farm. We would stay at this location again.

My 8 year old was kind of unhappy that there were no waffles to be made after 9am. But everything else was okay. Please keep breakfast available later than this!!

I have stayed at this La Quinta before, and the experience is always good. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly, the continental breakfast is nice, and the rooms are always well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The freeway access is excellent, and there are plenty of restaurants […] within walking distance of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Mehr

We stayed here on our third night in So Cal during our annual fall Halloween Haunt trip. Everything was nice, and as expected, I've always had very good experiences with this chain. The only slight snag was the fact that our floor, the fourth, had mostly Non-Smoking rooms, which we requested due to my allergies to smoke, AND smoking rooms. Huh? Hello? […] Second hand smoke anyone? The hallways, and elevator lobby REEKED of cigarette smoke, but by some miracle, our room had no smell that I could detect with my sensitive nose. Next time I will specify I want a Non Smoking room, AND Non Smoking FLOOR as well. I forgot to ask why they had mixed rooms on the same floor, but will next time. This hotel is located just off of Orangethorpe in a small industrial park, and despite being packed with an Asian Travel group, and a High School Group, we never knew they were there until we encountered them in the Breakfast area the next morning. QUIET NIGHT! Yeah! The free buffet breakfast was fantastic, and what I've been accustomed to from La Quinta. bagels, yogurt, waffles, muffins, cereal, any sort of beverage you could want, hot or cold, and all the fixings. I was stuffed when I left. Quiet. Convenient to Knotts, Downtown Disney, Disneyland, etc. etc. Great food, great price. I will be back if I can get a non smoking FLOOR this time. Mehr

I travel to this area on business 6 to 10 times a year and have stayed at other locations in the past. Once I found this property, I do not even consider other locations. The staff is friendly, the hotel is well maintained. Most importantly, you feel safe in this neighborhood.

the hotel was great looking on the outside, the lobby was clean, the people were nice. but the room we stayed in smelled like old peoples home and the oder was not good. the bath room was clean but had damage to the roof. everything is the room was dated. and should be updated. but you get what you pay for. knotts was about 3miles away which was nice, […] but i wont be staying here again. we stayed for 1 night and that was good enough.
