Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfreich. Das Zimmer war sauber mit extra abgetrennten Bad und Duschmöglichkeit in der Wanne. Die Übernachtung war inkl. Frühstück. Entgegen vorheriger Bewertungen war es ausgiebig. Man konnte wählen zwischen, Muffin, Beagles, Toast mit Toaster, Waffeln zum selber machen, Obstauswahl, genügent Aufstrich wie versch. Marmeladen und Sirup, zwei versch. Kaffesorten (normal und entkoffeniert) und Saft aus dem Automaten. Alles als free refill. Wer eine Stadtrundfahrt machen möchte kann sich an der Rezeption melden. Von dort kann eine Stadtrundfahrt mit Abholung vom Hotel organisert werden. Also besser geht es gr nicht. Ich kann nur jeden dieses Hotel empfehlen. Würde jederzeit sofort doert wieder übernachten. Volle Punktzahl. Einziger kleiner Abstrich ist die örtl. Umgebung. Auf den ersten Blick sieht die Umgebung etwas ungemütlich aus, aber wenn man daran denkt, das es nicht gerade die Innenstadt ist geht es in Ordnung. Ca. 5 Min Fußweg gibt es zwei Fastfood Restaurants und genau gegenüber ist ein großer (mexikanischer) Supermarkt. Alles in ereichbarer Nähe.

Ich war mit einem Bekannten für 7 Tage in dem Motel. Sehr netter Empfang. Absolut problemlos. Erster Eindruck wurde während des gesamten Aufenthaltes bestätigt. Frühstück mit frischen warmen Haferflocken, frisches Rührei, gekochte Eier, Waffeln zum selbstbacken, Müsli, Säfte, Obst, Kaffee, Tee, ... -kurzum, für amerikanische Motelverhältnisse absolut super und ausreichend. Das richtige für den Start in den Tag. Lage: ca. 15 Minuten Fussmarsch zum Venicebeach, 5 Minuten zum Hafen von Marina, 15 Minuten zum Harleyverleih am Lincoln- Boulevard, Tiefgaragenparkplätze kostenlos, Zimmer sauber und frisch renoviert -unseres zumindest- Personal immer freundlich, kleiner Pool und Spa zur Erfrischung/ Entspannung, Innenhof mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und Gaskamin, für uns jederzeit wieder 1. Wahl für L.A. Aufenthalte!!!!!!!!!

"Great service and very convenient location."
Very good service - better than higher star hotels! The location was convenient for getting around Pasadena especially business meetings and acces to restaurants.

I booked this hotel for a Girls Trip, since we wanted a place to stay that wasn't too far outside of L.A. And this place was perfect! The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool and hot tub are open late. I love the included breakfast, free parking, and free Wifi, but the icing on the cake was the hotel service. The check-in process was super quick, […] and the guy who checked us in took the time to give us an area map and list of restaurants to eat at, including one that gave a discount to those staying at the hotel. "Rooster"
Our only problem was a rooster in the neighborhood started crowing around 3am in the morning and did not let up till we left about 9am. Front desk already had some complaints

Walls are quite thin. Front desk folk are great. Lots of hallway noise in the morning. Convenient location.

"Great Value for the Price"
For the price, this hotel is a great alternative. Although the room we got was a little bit small for 4 people, the service was great, the free WiFi and breakfast are a definite plus and the free and ample parking make this hotel a great value.
Stay was for Rose Bowl parade. Check- in was very quick and employees were extremely friendly and very helpful. Loved that we were immediately handed printed info regarding parade and bowl game (transportation, restaurants, etc) I knew we would be paying top $$ because of Pasadena events. Stay away from this dump of a hotel. The staff was rude, the management was non existent and the quality of the the accommodations rival a bad Motel 6.

"HOLIDAY IN EXPRESS, PASADENA CA."
IN AN EMERGENCY SITUIATION THEY CAME TO OUR RESCUE I HAD TO PUT MY PARENTS THERE AFTER CRAZY WEATHER IN CALIFORNIA THE ROOM WAS IMPECABLE THE YOUNG MAN HELPING THEM COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE ATTENTIVE. The hotel location is very east in Pasadena and there are other hotels not mentioned by hotels.com which would have been much better for me in terms of location.

"Pleasant Surprise"
I needed to book a hotel room at the last minute and chose this hotel not knowing the area very well. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was close to great restaurants, a Whole Foods, and close to the freeway. "Reliable"
Can always count in Holiday Inn Express to be clean, in a good location and breakfast! Love it, always look for them first.

Even though this hotel is not new or large, it had great service and was comfortable. It was close to freeway entrance without hearing all the freeway noise or seeing it. It was in a great area. The employees always asking if there is an anything they can assist you with. They helped with locating an address, finding a place to eat, and offering bottled […] water, How often are we charged $5.00 for a $1 bottle of water? "clean hotel deal"
This hotel is kept very clean and have great service. The location is ok. A few restaurants in walking distance, it's great if you need a freeway close by. The place is quiet. Got a good breakfast included in the price which makes a difference. The pool is nice. The only thing that bothers me are the beds. They're soft and rocks when your partner moves […] around. Well maintained newer hotel. No problems with cleanliness and service. Everything was as I would expect from a Holiday Inn Express property.

"Very comfortable stay"
We visited LA area to see universities. We chose Pasadena for Cal Tech. We stayed at Holiday Inn for three days. Our stay was very comfortable. Their staff was friendly. Breakfast was great. Room TV was not good but we had very little time to watch it. Location is good because it is near 210. We loved our stay.

"smelly hotel"
The hotel was nice and in a good location.. There was internet, shopping and car rental all near by. The SMELL though was another story. The hallways stunk and at night the strong smell of urine permeated the room through the airconditioner. I couldn't sleep and it was a nightmare. This ruined everythings else good about it.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel. It had everything we needed for our quick one night stay in the Pasadena area. But the neighborhood! This is literally right next door to the totally skanky Hi-Hopper (or something like that) hotel which is a total pit. "Noisy neighbors"
The smell of the hotel was less not so great. The rooms were clean, but the guests in the room next to us and above us could be heard all night long. might as well been in the room with us. Insulation needs improvement. Have always been happy with Hotels.com, not this time.

"Clean, nice and friendly service"
Ths property is amazing especially for its location. Everything is clean and well maintained. Nice amentities including their famous breakfast. Friendly knowledgable staff, just a $15 dollar cab ride to the bars and clubs on Colorado!

The hotel was very nice and clean. They offer a great free breakfast every morning. The room was a little small for two adults and one child.
