Everything was great! very comfortable beds and clean room. I was only surprised that there was no microwave! Otherwise the room had everything I needed.

Unfriendly staff! Breakfast was a disaster. It's ok if you want a place to sleep and that's it. Much better motels out there.

I am usually not a fan of La Quinta since so many of them are really motels not hotels. As they go, this one was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was limited with most dining on those you-make-'em waffles. They ran out of coffee. The strangest part of my stay is that the hostess who checked us in had a baby, hairless pet […] rat on her shoulder. That kind of freaked me out and as a manager I would never allow that. Still the stay was fine. There was a nice flatscreen TV and a comfortable bed. Mehr

A good experience with a couple of negatives. First: Shampoo - one very small bottle for two adults is not good service. Second - Breakfast was a mess - coffee was empty, fruit was empty, waffle maker could not keep up with the crowd, same for the toaster. Suggest you keep the breakfast open later on weekend days and staff it so nothing runs out..

Convenient to the Domain, easy access to mopac NB. Nice service, good room- clean!

Everything was great except not having a mini fridge or microwave in the room was kinda a bummer. Other than that, staff was great, breakfast and pool.

We had a mother daughter weekend with friends and i picked thia hotel because of the resort like pool. It has a nice out side area with a gazebo, our girls really enjoyed it.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was pretty good. It was perfect for our weekend stay. Convenient to everything and everywhere we needed to go. I would stay there again if I ever visit Austin in the future.

We were in Austin to participate in an athletic event that started before the complimentary breakfast was set up. The clerk knew this and gave us some bagels and bananas the night before so that we would have some pre-race fuel. That was extremely generous and helpful!

The hotel was clean and the bedroom area was updated, but the bathrooms were not updated and the bathtub was stained and chipped. The bathtub faucet leaked when the shower was inacted. If you're going to update your hotel, you should spend the extra money on the bathroom.

Our room was very nice and real comfortable. The only complaint I have was we asked for a wake-up call and didn't get it. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast is lame unless you like waffles. Twin rooms don't have a fridge. They have these new chicklet-shaped pillows that I just couldn't get along with. Did not sleep well. But it's $40 cheaper than across the street.

This hotel was in a great location for the plans we had for the weekend. The nicest hotel staff I have encountered in a long time. I love the unique layout of the room. Hotel staff was super helpful.

Always stay here when in Austin. Easy access to anywhere you want to go in Austin.

The hotel was a little dirty and had hair in the bathroom. The staff was nice but check out time is noon and we had employees knocking on the door a couple of hours be for that. The breakfast wasnt all that great for the amount per night. Over all it wasnt what i expected.

We stayed in North Austin as Austin City Limits was taking place in South Austin and we didn't want to hassle with traffic. Price was right, and it covered our basic needs. No frills, but safe, etc. What else do we need!

nice place, clean and comfortable beds and location was great for us. I recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet and less than obscenely priced hotel.

Well, staff was nice and friendly. Continental breakfast was OK. Room was nice. Bathtub looked dirty. 2 inch cricket that fell on me out of bathroom vent was unacceptable! Construction in the area would suggest a serious bug spray activity rather than just room by room.

Good location, but dont miss the exit, hard to recover. Also ESPN, although shown on the TV Guide, did not work.

Access from Mopac Loop 1 is poor due to the non-continuation of the access road. If you get off too soon, you have to loop back (long way)and then croos over and begin again. The construction at the hotel driveway entrance causes you to have to hunt for a way into the hotel, possibly causing you to have to start over again.

Great location and the roof top pool was fun for the kids. Popcorn & drinks and lots of perks. Would stay again & again!

Very clean, and a nice staff. I recommend it.

Very clean and comfortable room. A little hard to get to until you figure out the area. Didn't go to pool so don't know about that. All and all for the price a very nice hotel.

Fantastic shopping places near by, convenient access to Mopac Freeway/Loop so quick to get downtown, too. Thank you.

My room contained a tube tv The picture quality was poor. The screen was Black about 98% of the time. For the price I paid for the rooom, I should of had a flat screen tv. The tube tvs need to be taken out of the hotel.

The hotel is perfect in every way, clean inside and out. It was hard to find but it was worth it.

My husband I stayed in this hotel May 2011. We were in town for the State Track Meet. The staff was wonderful. The room was very clean. No complaints at all.

I stay at this La Quinta whenever I am in town visiting my son at University of Texas. The rooms are always immaculate and comfortable. The rate is very inexpensive for the quality of the room. It is newly redecorated and the beds are very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Maybe a reasonable place for a transitory night, but not longer. There's nothing around this place unless you drive to it. The Domain looks fairly close on a map, but I don't think most people would feel comfortable walking to it since you'd have to essentially walk on the side of highway or a road with no sidewalks. They gave us a smoking room, even […] though we requested a non-smoking room. They claimed to be full so they couldn't switch us. I didn't even know hotels allowed smoking in rooms anymore, but this one apparently does if that's what you're in the market for. If your not a smoker, then you can't help but smell the stale smoke permeating everything in a smoking room - not appealing, but sort of nostaglic since this is how every hotel room used to smell in the old days. Our room was so neat and clean. The beds were very comfortable.My son had eye surgery and we needed a place to stay close to the Dr. while in the Austin area as well as a place that he could go to sleep until the pain was under control. He was able to sleep for four hours without being disturbed and the room was so nice I didn't worry about him picking […] up something that would cause infection. Very pleased... Mehr

Our room was spacious and looked out on the pool, a nice view despite the cool temps in late Feb. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We decided to stay an extra night although we had expected to relocate nearer the activities we had planned for our second day.
