Das Hotel lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Tolle große Zimmer mit allem erdenklichen Komfort. Im Badezimmer sogar ein Whirlpool! Toll wäre, wenn bei der Größe des Zimmers im Wohnbereich das Sofa eine Schlafcouch mit Aufbettung für die 3. und 4. Person eingerichtet wäre. Aber, das ist nur eine Anregung, keinerlei Kritik.Die Lage ist auch klasse, nur ein etwa 150 langer Spaziergang und man ist mitten auf dem Strip. Wenn wir mal wieder kommen, würden wir sehr gern wieder hier wohnen!!

Wir waren 5 Tage in Las Vegas im Trump. Das Hotel hat die 5 Sterne absolut verdient. Es liegt etwas abseits vom Strip, ist sehr ruhig und hat kein Casino, was uns besonders gefallen hat. Daher auch eine Nichtraucherunterkunft. Shuttel zum Caesars Pallace alle 15min, ansonsten ist man aber auch zu Fuss gleich am Strip und kann bequem durch die Fashion Show mall flanieren. Uns hat es super gefallen. Das Hotel erhebt allerdings eine Ressort-Gebühr von 25$ pro Tag. Damit ist aber Internet etc. inklusive.

"Alte Moehre"
Das Hotel hat seine guten Tage schon sehr lange ueberschritten. Im Hotel riecht es muffig. Es ist alles alt im Hotel. Das Hotel liegt im Bereich des alten Strip. Es ist zwar mal interessant den mal kurz anzusehen, aber Las Vegas, was der Tourist sehen will ist das nicht. Also bitte Finger weglassen.

"Mittendrin und Live dabei"
Das Hotel befindet sich in Las Vegas Down Town und ist damit eines der ursprünglichen Hotel-Casinos. Wir hatten jeden Abend die Laser-Show und danach liefen in den Nebenstraßen immer Live-Konzerte ab (mit unterschiedlichen Musikstilen und immer bis 24 Uhr und ab 7 Uhr früh). Am 30.4. fand noch eine super tolle Schwulen-Lesben-Transvestiten-Parade statt. […] Es war also an jedem Abend etwas los. Die Verbindung mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zum Strip klappte reibungslos. Mit einer Tageskarte ist man besten bedient. Wir wohnten im 29. Stock und es war sehr zugig. Das Bett am Fenster konnte man nicht benutzen-so hat es durch die Klimaanlage gezogen. Zum Frühstück wurde man bedient-es gab kein Büfett (das haben wir die Tage vorher erlebt -mit sehr unterschiedlichen Angeboten). WLAN gibt es in allen Zimmern, öffentliche Telefone nur im Casino. Es ist sicher kein Hotel für 14 Tage, aber 2-3 mal übernachten ist okay! Das Taxi zur Rent-a-car-Station am Flughafen kostete ca. 35 Dollar - die Amerikaner lassen nicht mit sich handeln!!! Mehr
"Preis Leistung super aber aelteres Hotel"
Das Hotel ist schon ein paar Jahre alt was man am Zustand schon merkt. Es war jedoch sauber und das Personal nett. Wer eine super guenstige Uebernachtung sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben. Generell ist am Strip mehr los z.B. das Excalibur liegt zentral und hat super Preise fuer Zimmer. Die Freemont Street koedert Gaeste mit guenstigen Zimmern und billigen […] Getraenkepreisen entsprechendes Publikum. Im Hotel wohnen viele aeltere Leute 55 und aelter die schon seid Jahren herkommen. Bei unserem 2. Aufenthalt im Fitzgeralds wurden wir mit Frühstücksgutscheinen überrascht. Schönes altes Fremont St. Hotel mit viel Atmosphäre mitten drin im Geschehen. Auch am Wochenende moderate Preise. Für perfekt.
"Preisgünstiges Top-Hotel"
Obwohl das Hotel nicht direkt am Strip liegt, ist es durchaus empfehlenswert. Auch in der Fremont Street unmittelbar vor dem Hotel gibt es jede Menge Attraktionen und die Preise sind sehr fair.

The bath tub non-stop leaking, the sound made us un-comfortable. We asked the room-keeping to solved, but they didn"t fix it. The room carpet so dirty. I hope the new management can do the problems.We"re the regular customers in this hotel. So , we hope next time, we have the clean and comfortable room in the future.

"Needs alot of help"
Although the staff was friendly, the hotel is in shambles. The casino is nice and the location is great when you want to access the strip. The problem is that the room is old and not updated or repaired well. The noise is a big problem. It needs better insulation. "Decent Hotel right in the center of Fremont St"
It was just an ok stay at best to be honest. The pool was something you would expect from a motel 6 or worse. The rooms were decent at best with an older TV model and very basic set up. The location was great with an exit right into the Fremont St.experience. The room was clean just did not have the wow factor. Very unsatisfied had to change rooms got sick because of the painting on the 31st floor. Sink had no stopper.mattress was not confortable.had to purchase medicine from CVs drugs because paints toxic odors made me sick and I was throwing up.

New management in an older place in downtown Las Vegas. Despite the rehab they have done, it is still a little seedy in that area. I had a room on the 32 floor, but because of the "Fremont St Experience" with ear-blasting loud rock music, had to run my room fan constantly to cover the noise at night. My friend had a room on the eighth floor and needed […] to use her ear plugs. Breakfast was included in price, though, oddly, I had to pay extra for coffee. Staff was a bit dismissive--no one seemed to know where the public transportation center was (a few blocks away) and no one could be bothered to find out for me. If I return to Las Vegas (not too likely) I will probably check out places on the strip instead. Mehr

"Nothing wrong"
The only reason you even clicked on this hotel when you were doing your search is the price. Well don't mind the negative reviews. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this place. The rooms are a little old, but they are big and clean. The desk staff and cleaning staff are great. If you want to have a mint on your pillow and pay way too much for the […] same accomodations, go somewhere else. And yes, you have to buy the drink with breakfast but it still costs $5, or $3 if you are cheap and want to stiff the server (which I saw people do). Right on Fremont Street. No complaints. Mehr
"Not a bad place"
After I booked my reservation I noticed some bad reviews so I got a little worried since I did a non refundable option. However, I only stayed for one night and it was not bad at all. When I checked in I asked for a renovated room, but the clerk informed me that they aren't even starting renovations until the summer, however she said she would give […] me a room on a higher floor which might be a little nicer. We were on the 30th floor, and the room was definitely out of date, but at least it was clean. I even checked for bed bugs just to be sure and found none. One minor complaint was that the air conditioning was really loud and kept waking me up (but it worked well), and once when we were going up the elevator from the lobby floor, it went up to the 28th floor, stopped, went back down to the lobby, and the door didn't open for maybe a minute. I was about to push the call button, but it finally opened. So we got in a different elevator. Until they renovate the hotel is purely basic--perfect if you just need a place to crash. Mehr
First room was on 3rd floor. It was totally a disaster. smelled bad, wallpaper coming off bathroom wall, halls looked dirty. Worst I have seen in any hotel. Hotels .com said the hotel had been remodeled. Truth is that you were only startiong the job. I was moved to 34th floor which was OK. This is not a high quality facility.

Having dealt with 3 front desk staff prior to getting the manager, it took forever to get checked in, when we made it to the room the keys didn't work, got keys that worked and got in the room and it wasn't clean!

"From the Fitz to the New D Hotel"
Derek Stephens who recently acquired this hotel i starting to make much needed improvements. He started with the new "Long Bar" which is very impressive. Next step is the hotel rooms and casino. I can't wait to see the final transformation. This will be the place to be once this is completed. Best of Luck to him and his team. Great stay as always!

Parking was a bit confusing and tedious at times and the rooms weren't as up to date as one might think a recently renovated hotel in begas would be but had no complaints about the service or quality of the rooms. "In the heart of the Fremont street action"
I thought the room was really good value and the free breakfast was much better than I was expecting. The only real complaint, if I can even call it that, was the lack of electrical outlets in the room. I had to set up my laptop in the bathroom to read my email. Overall the staff were friendly and the room was great for the price.

"Downtown Vegas"
We chose this hotel because of its location and it didn't disappoint. The bathtub had a very leaky faucet but otherwise the room was okay and especially for the price, it was worth it.

This review is not for people who can afford to stay at the Wynn. The D or Fitzgerald was a great find, free breakfast and a great view. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Also great friendly staff
