Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht, fanden die Zimmer etwas zu klein. Schränke um die Kleider zu verstauen gab es nicht, außer einem kleinen Wandschrank für die Jacken. Für 2 Erwachsene und zwei kleine Kinder ausreichend, wenn man nicht zu hohe Ansprüche hat. Ansonsten ruhig, kein Straßenlärms zu hören. Frühstück für Paris ganz o.k.

Was war gut am Mercure-Hotel: - ca. 400 m zur nächsten Metro-Station Porte d'Orleans, so dass man gut in die City gelangen konnte - sauberes Mittelklassehotel mit gutem Preis / Leistungs-Verhältnis - RER-Station Gentilly mit Direktverbindung zum Flughafen Charle de Gaule ist nur ca. 1 km entfernt Was war nicht ganz so gut: - Das Hotel hatte kein Beisstellbett […] für unsere Tochter im Doppelzimmer vorbereitet. Das musste dann noch schnell "rein-improviisert" werden - es gibt keinen Hotel eigenen Shuttle-Service, der einen zur nahegelegenen RER-Station bringen kann. Mehr

I highly recommend this hotel. I've stayed in at least 10 Parisian hotels and this makes the top 3. There is no outside noise, at the rear of the hotel anyway, although you can hear your neighbour on the same floor, which is actually an improvement for Paris in which it is normal to here below and above neighbours. The room is big, with enough space […] to exercise and the furniture is top quality. In fact the hotel building from 1911 is top quality and the reception is indicative of the quality of the furniture in the rooms. The beds are foam and very supportive. The area directly in front of the hotel is busy and a Metro 4 station is directly opposite so it is easy to get to about Paris. I would happily stay again. Mehr

This Hotel is alright, but it is definitely not deserving of 4 stars. It is more like a good 3 star hotel. The station is about 800m away, which is not fun during cold winter.

This was about 30 minutes on the train from the center of Paris. Train station is very close, about 5-10 minute walk. We only stayed a weekend which was enough time for us to explore the downtown area and have some good meals. The hotel had a buffet breakfast which was pretty tasty. Overall, the hotel was very lonely during the time that we visited […] (early Sep) as was the area surrounding the hotel. The neighborhood was safe just quiet and lots of business spaces. Random note, if you are going to be ordering a cab, do not order it from the hotel. They have their own personal driver that overcharges A LOT. much better to call a cab yourself. Mehr

A standard Mercure hotel. I had a 2x single bed room which, though non-smoking, still smelled of smoke. The plaster was beginning to come off the wall near the bathroom because of damp. The bathroom shower screen didn't stop the floor from flooding. Air conditioning and WiFi worked fine. Breakfast was OK - a big selection of items. If you're looking […] to stay near Cité internationale universitaire de Paris (and the RER B station) it's surprisingly close (10-15 minutes walk) if you walk along the road parallel the peripherique and cross the footbridge next to the Samsung building or take the road the runs under the peripherique. Keep in mind it's a 15minute speed walk to the closest metro station (30 stroll) and the hotel is a bit hard to find. You will see the "Mercure" light up sign on a building with other hotel signs but the hotel itself is a couple blocks (2-3) left from the sign. Don't bother taking the elevator down (up is okay), you will be retired by the time it comes […] - Seriously, I waited 15 minutes because the stairs looked like they would trigger the fire alarm. This hotel was quiet very clean and spacious with plenty of lovely hot water. The kettle with tea & coffee in our room is certainly a draw card for us. A bit out of the way of the city centre but easily accessible by public transport.

I have traveled a lot. The idea that this hotel is a 4* is ridiculous. First off, 2 adults and 1 child meant that there was a cod bed brought in. And as much as I understand how the European hotels work, it was hot. Even when i opened the windows. The plus is that it is close to the subway and also close to the ERE. This hotel is not especially close to the centre of paris but this was what we wanted as we took children and didn't want a noisy environment in which to try to get them to sleep. It's located in what appears to be a business district amongst mostly office blocks but there are a few nice small restaurants close by (one pizza place was especially nice). […] As long as you've got reasonable mobility and can walk 1km or so to the metro stops you won't find the location a problem. We found the hotel to be quiet and clean and the breakfast (which was included even though our booking said it wouldn't be) was a nice but fairly standard buffet affair - I have no complaints there. The children of course enjoyed the croissants and pastries. It's closest to the Porte d'orleans metro stop but also pretty close (1km) to the Cite Universitaire RER train stop. We discovered this because the Porte d'orleans section of the metro was closed the weekend we went, but actually this is a better way to get into town because you can use the Metro tickets but the train is quicker and has less stops and is generally less skanky. It was far away from turist atractions and transport. Good for business but not for leisure. There was not enough personal at the front desk to help on demand. Not good quality of service.

This was a very average hotel, perhaps 3 star (max). The rooms were OK, i.e. clean. The location of the hotel is rather far from city center. The metro stop is about 10 min walk. There is a bus that stops infront of the hotel (125), but takes much longer if you wait for the bus to go to the metro station. Good size room and bathroom. Comfortable bed, no noise and air-con that was quite and effective. Breakfast was very good and fresh (better than some 4 stars) and service quick and polite. For the money its a no-brainer.

The hotel was smart, clean and staff were very friendly. Rooms were of good standard. We took breakfast on one morning which was very nice but a little expensive even by Parisian standards. The restaurant was not open while we were there for evening meals and the ' 24 hour shop' was a glass cabinet with a couple of sandwiches and a few drinks. The nearest […] metro station was a 10 minute walk but there are plans to extend the line so this will improve the position of the hotel. The vincinity was pleasant and we felt quite comfortable walking to and from the hotel even in the evening. Not that much to do in the immediate area but all major attractions were just a metro ride away. We were able to leave our bags in a secure room on our last day and collect them again before we left for the airport. All in all, a very pleasant hotel and would not hesitate to book again. Mehr

Excelente atención. Buena habitación, moderna, limpia. El vecindario es tranquilo y sin problemas. Cerca están 3 estaciones de metro, recomiendo Porte Dórleans metro para comunicarte. Si vas a salir o llegar por el aeropuerto de Orly, solo toma 15 minutos llegar en Taxi

Keurig hotel, erg vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijtbuffet, mooie nette kamer, bedden waren iets te hard naar mijn smaak. De buurt is niet bijzonder, metro goed bereikbaar (ca 10 min lopen) parkeren voor 34 euro voor het hele weekend in de parkeergarage van mercure/Ibis. Hotel Ibis zit tegen het Mercure hotel aan. 1x gegeten in het grill restaurant […] van Ibis, maar dat viel erg tegen. Mehr

I stayed at the hotel during a conference. It was a very nice hotel, very comfortable room, good breakfast, helpful staff. Only minus in my book was that the room I got was a smokers room and smelled quite bad.

Hôtel propre de qualité (café et thé à disposition dans la chambre) sauf que l'isolation phonique est absolument insuffisante (bruits de tuyauterie à partir de 7 heures du matin), mince filet d'eau dans la douche, brusques changements de pression. Nous avons été finalement sortis du lit par l'alerte incendie, lorsque nous sommes arrivés dans les cuisines […] (sorties de secours bloquées par des chariots à linge!!!!) on nous a dit que ce n'était rien: "un client a fait brûler du pain dans le grill-pain! Pour mon deuxième passage dans cet Hotel, tout fut presque parfait jusq'au moment où le réceptioniste(Patrick) m'indiqua, avec un certitude qui ne laissait aucun recours, que mes deux nuitées n'étaient pas réglées.Il me demanda avec insistance un règlement que je lui certifiais avoir effectué par internet lors de ma réservation.Il m'a fallu insister […] à plusieurs reprises pour qu'il vérifie sur le fichier informatique, mais il continua à mettre en doute mon honèteté et ma bonne foi, arguant du fait que le système informatique de l'hôtel avait changé.Au bout de quelques longues minutes, il s'est rendu compte de son erreur, et,sans aucune excuse a fini par me dire qu'il s'était trompé. il a ensuite quitté l'accueil pour s'occuper de sa compagne et de son enfant. Le client 'lambda" que j'étais l'avait visiblement dérangé en ce dimanche matin. Par contre j'ai reçu un accueil formidable le vendredi soir de la part de Eric! Mehr

Our room had two twin beds and one sleeper sofa. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were also very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. It is a little out of the way of central Paris, but only a short walk from Pont d’Orleans on the Metro.(5-10 min)
