Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Das Personal ist sehr charmant, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Service könnte nicht besser sein. Der Empfangs- und Restaurantbereich ist gepflegt und wirkt einladend. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat eine sehr gute Auswahl und ist schön präsentiert. Die Zimmer dagegen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, eine Renovation wäre angezeigt. […] Die Teppiche in den Etagen müssten dringend ersetzt werden, und die Wände in den Gängen dürften wieder einmal gestrichen werden. Eine separate Dusche gab es in unserem Zimmer nicht. Man musste in der Badewanne duschen, was nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäss ist. Mehr

Great location right beside main shopping areas in Munich and the central rail station......just a 1 and 1/2 hour train ride through beautiful countryside to the magnificent city of Salzburg, Austria! Breakfast was not included in the rate quoted. Hotel was comfortable and room was very large. A perfect city break location.

It is a good well located hotel close to central station. it is not far from old town maybe 15 minutes. I asked to have a quiet room and they gave me quite spacious and quiet room. I was happy with that but after while I started hearing a lot of noise, I mean, there are some stairs for sweet room on my room. So when somebody coming to sweet room and […] going out from there, it made unpleasant noise then finally I could not relax very much. I could have asked to change the room but after I unpacked my stuff I didn't want to move to another room. But overall it is good hotel to stay especially if you take a train or flight. Mehr

We were delighted with our first impressions of this hotel, not least because we had read mixed reviews. We found the staff to be extremely accommodating and helpful, our room to be clean and spacious and the breakfast ( which, incidentally IS included in the price, although all guests are asked to sign a receipt for the amount), to be one of the best […] we have sampled in a European hotel. The situation of the building was ideal for our needs as we wanted to discover the city on food predominantly. It is a hop away from the S-barn and the main railway station, so ideal from the airport. Can't say enough good things about it really, particularly for the price - and the leisure facilities at the sister hotel, though we only viewed them - were fabulous too. I am EXTREMELY fussy when it comes to holiday accommodation and I was not disappointed in the least. Highly recommended. Mehr

Fabulous hotel for short city break. Conveniently located right near the main station (Haupfbanhoff) and walking distance to most sights in the centre of Munich. Also, it's a 2 min walk to the meeting for bus tours, which you can book through Viator.com (eg., Gray Lines) -- so day trips outside of Munich are also very easy from this hotel. Hotel itself […] was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were lovely! ... very friendly, helpful and professional. The only negative is the 19 euro breakfast -- totally overpriced! There are much better, cheaper options very close by, including the famous food market just off Marienplatz. Mehr

It is an excellent old style hotel in near perfect location. I have stayed there multiple times. Its small but for one person it is perfect. The only negative is WiFi, while free, is weak

We booked this hotel because of the pictures online. The rest of the hotel is close to what the pictures show but our room was nothing - and I mean NOTHING - like the photos! It was small with a view of a wall with dated furniture and upholstery. The movies on our tv didn't work and the girl behind the reception couldn't do anything to help us. Overall […] it was quite a nice hotel but we were very disappointed with our room, especially because we paid a high price for it and we felt totally hoodwinked. Mehr

Hotel was very hot. No air conditioning. Fans were provided but inadequate to cool the room even at night. Location was acceptable, but entrance was located in an ackward back street. Parking ran $25 Euros per night.

About a year ago we were in Munich on a cold night looking for a warm place to have a glass of wine when we spotted the restaurant at the Excelsior. We spent a very enjoyable evening working our way down their wine list, sampling the prosciutto that they slice at the bar and eventually having dinner. It was such a nice experience that we decided to […] stay at the hotel the next time we were in town. Our two night stay during April worked out well and they even helped after we had checked out and got stranded by the Iceland volcano. This hotel is centrally located a block from the train station. We'll go back to sleep or eat there the next chance we get. Mehr

ミュンヘン中央駅3分という利便性と、昔ケルンのエクセルシオールに泊ってとても良かったのでここに決めました。シングルは広くはありませんがスーツケースを広げるスペースはありますしバスルームはとても綺麗で清潔。駅前の治安に関してはいろいろ書かれているように何処も満足は出来ませんが、このホテルのある通りはそこまで悪くはありませんでした。（夏の盛りをすぎていたからか、酔っ払いはいませんでした）いずれにしても駅からの地下道を出て1分位でホテルなので怖くはありませんでした。列車であちこち日帰りする人にはお薦めです。

Located very close to Munich central station. Room was very comfortable with beautiful furnishings and decor but very noisy because it was on the same floor as the conference rooms
