Le Montrose Suite Hotel - West Hollywood

Wir waren zwei mal innerhalb 3 Wochen mit unseren beiden Kleinkindern im Le Montrose abgestiegen. Beide Mal hatten wir eine 1 Bedroom Suite reserviert. Suite 1 und 2 waren jedoch extrem unterschiedlich. Beim ersten Mal hatten wir eine Suite im Erdgeschoss. Wohn-Essbereich sowie das Schlafzimmer waren angenehm gross, Das Badezimmer bietet eine Badewanne […] und separate Dusche. In der Küche lagen Geschirr, Besteck und Pfannen bereit. Einzig ein grosser Kühlschrank sowie eine Geschirrspülmaschine fehlten. Auch lag nichts bereit, um das Geschirr abzuwaschen. Das Housekeeping bemühte sich jedoch, dies für uns zu erledigen. Dafür liess die Saubermachung des Zimmers zu wünschen übrig. Beim zweiten Besuch hatten wir eine Suite im 4. Stock. Diesmal war alles etwas kleiner ausgefallen. Im Schlaf- und Badezimmer konnte man sich kaum drehen. Dafür war die Küche mit Kühlschrank und Geschirrspüler ausgestattet, Geschirr und Pfannen fehlten jedoch. Auf dem Sofa lagen zudem noch die Krümel der vorherigen Bewohner. Alles in allem ist das Hotel praktisch für Selbstversorger. Mit kleinen Kindern sind Restaurantbesuche leider oft anstrengend und eine Suite mit Kitchenette daher eine gute Alternative. Der Preis stimmt auch, verglichen mit anderen Hotels der Umgebung. Mehr

sehr schönes Hotel mit großen Zimmern, sehr nettes Service, am Dach ein gepflegtes Pool mit Blick über LA und Jacuzzi ! Tennisplatz am Dach ! perfekte Lage zwischen Sunset Boulevard und St. Monica Bvd ! sehr empfehlenswert !!!

Hotel was well-maintained, clean and quiet. Loved the sunken living room part of our room. Pool was nice, though VERY small. Neighborhood was quiet, seemingly safe and an easy walk to Sunset action. Restaurant and bar didn't seem to have any customers ever, though they seemed perfectly nice. We sat down for a drink in the bar and it took them a while […] to notice we were there. Admittedly, once they did, the served us quickly. Think this is a better business hotel then romantic getaway venue. Mehr

Fabulous large room with all the essentials and more. It set the standard for the rest of our stay in California. The roof top heated pool and jacuzzi had a great view and were perfect for chilling out after a long day out. Dinner and breakfast were available in the hotel and were very good, if a little pricey. Options for dinning nearby were a little […] limited to pizza, subway or opposite extreme with Gordon Ramsays restaurant. To find anywhere inbetween, a short bus journey was needed. Mehr

We have kids, and they liked the pool on the roof. We would stay there again.

great hotel and excellent customer service. currently undergoing multimillion dollar renovation until june. would definitely stay here again.

Our room was spacious and clean, but the service was very poor. The pool on the roof top was a mess - towels and dringks left behind by other guests everywhere and ano clean towels were left for us to use. I called to have more towels brought up to the roof top. None were brought up even after waiting for 45 minutes. Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs […] is okay, but overpriced. The waffles and Eggs Benedict were tasty, but the French Toast should be avoided. Mehr

The Montrose was vey nice. Our room was large and very comfortable. The pool, hot tub and tennis court on the roof were spectacular with a beautiful view. Our daughter just moved to CA and I will definitely go back to this hotel.

We have stayed at the Montrose Hotel before, and this time during one of the famous drives to see homes of the movie stars, the hotel was mentioned as an exclusive place where movie start who don't want to be bothered are beginning to stay. We love the location which feels secluded but which is steps away from Sunset Boulevard and a short drive to all […] that L.A. has to offer. The staff and service are o-u-t-s-t-a-n-d-i-n-g. Mehr

overall hotel is good. i would probably give other local hotels a try before returning. our room had popcorn on the ceiling, i was not expecting that there was loud noise outside our room, i.e. rude drunk patrons they charged an additional $35 to park in the garage, street parking is not an option because of the need for permits otherwise the room was […] clean and felt very comfortable it is close to all the weho restaurants/attractions Mehr

Great hotel hidden away in a neighborhood in West Hollywood. Walk to Santa Monica Blvd or Sunset Blvd for food and drinks. Perfect. Beds are outdated as they really need to upgrade. Otherwise, great experience.

I usually stay in Beverly Hills at the Avalon but this time my girlfriend suggested Le Montrose. I was floored! Absolutely marvelous! Highly recommended. Only downside: no street parking so paying for the garage is likely.

Great hotel! Just a short walk to Sunset Strip, great service and very comfortable, clean rooms. Definitely recommended.

We needed a hotel in the area on short notice and after reading some reviews we booked here. From the moment we drove up and were greeted by courteous staff that assisted with parking and luggage until we checked out, our expectations were exceeded. We were traveling with children and the hotel staff was very accommodating, and polite. The hotel is […] not brand new but seems very well maintained. The location is ideal for access to the Hollywood and L.A. area. The price was reasonable and I will remember this place the next time we are in the area. Highly recommended. Mehr

I upgraded to a King Suite only to find it shaped like a bowling alley. Odd entry. Odd bedroom, anc noisey connecting door to another room. Bathroom and shower were very uncomfortable. Shower caused water all over floor. Nice people at desk and valet. Also lost and found did not call back for days.

When visiting WeHo in the past, I've usually stayed in the Ramada, or in one of the "chains" on Sunset. No longer!! This hotel was so perfect in every way, from the rooftop swimming pool to the spacious gym to our awesome, awesome room, complete with a view of downtown, a Juliet balcony and a fireplace. i love it, the suites are very big and the price is great

Our room had a working fireplace, bi-level floor and very comfortable bed. The lobby has a very upscale feel and the parking garage was very convenient because of self-parking. There is a very nice pool, sun-deck and tennis court on the ceiling. Walking a few blocks will take you to restaurants or a grocery store or coffee shop. Don't let them put you in room 115. It is like sleeping in the lobby and the kitchen all at the same time. Directly across from the catering kitchen and steps away (literally) from the front lobby and check-in. Rooms are large, comfortable enough and clean.

Very nice, comfortable room. Great bathroom, comfortable bed, nice separate living room area. Will definitely stay here again.

Love the Le Montrose - this was my 3rd stay at the hotel. Rooms are super comfortable and plush. Location is very convenient and the overall atmosphere very elegant. Not to mention always a great rate.

What a great hotel! The service was wonderful, our room was fabulous and the ice cream - Kalua drink we enjoyed on the rooftop was even more fabulous. I definitely will stay here the next time I'm in LA.

I have been staying at Le Montrose for a few years. My most recent trip reminded me of why. The staff is incredibly helpful and the hotel is very nice. The small restaurant has wonderful food and the staff there is also very friendly. I used the workout room this trip and it too has exactly what you need. This hotel has all the bells and whistles of […] a big hotel - but on a small, personal level. The service is personal without being annoying. I love this hotel and will continue to stay there whenever I go to LA. I do hope that the interiors get redone soon as everything is a bit dark but that is my only complaint. Neighborhood is between Beverly Hills and the busssel of Sunset Blvd. Jogging distance to the shops of Rodeo and walking distance from Sunset Strip. The room was a little dated but well kept. It was huge with two 48" plus flat screen TVs. The room service was quick and the menu was good. The staff was extremly helpful and competent. I will stay on my […] next trips to Beverly Hills. Air conditioning loud - facility needs a face lift

Great location and good service, pool area small but nice all the same, only concern i have is the rooms not been too clean and some dirt stains on furniture and carpets.

We loved the location! The rooftop pool was spectacular. It made us feel like movie stars. The furnishings and appointments are just what you would expect for a boutique hotel. We hope to come back again soon.

Large clean rooms, great pool on the roof. Service very good. The only negative points I would make was that the air conditioning units were of the box window variety - so although it worked fine, it was noisy. Also the restaruant was small and uninviting - but given the location of the hotel, I doubt many people would avail themselves of the restaraunt. […] I would definitly go back and thought it was good value for money. The hotel was in a nice residential neighborhood with nightlife just up the street. The hotel room looked exactly like the picture on the web site. The staff was courteous and helpful. I came in for a very short stay to the Le Montrose. I was pleasantly surprised with how close it would be to family...how comfortable and spacious the suites were...and how fabulously comfortable the bed was! The room was very clean! The reception staff was friendly,efficient, and professional. Truly, there are no negatives. The staff was very responsive […] to my requests for a quiet, non- smoking room. I cannot attest to the convenience for someone who wished to come as a tourist. The Le Montrose is in a pretty neighborhood...not close to the center of LA. Mehr

We weren't exactly sure what to expect since we had not been to LA before but this hotel was wonderful for my family. We had a one BR suite with a sofa sleeper. The hotel was exactly as it appeared in the pictures online. It was centrally located in West Hollywood so it was near/between Sunset Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd. Also, near Beverly Hills. The […] staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, recommendations, reservations, etc. The view from the rooftop pool deck at night was wonderful. Our room was very nice with a small kitchenette. We did use some of the appliances. We did have to move some of the items provided by the hotel in the small refrigerator to put our items inside but were able to get them in. There were no dishes, utensils, etc. in the kitchenette so we used plasticware we purchased at the local market. That was a small inconvenience but the only one! We had a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. You do need to realize that there is a parking fee at this hotel. That is not unusual though as we found that most hotels charge this fee whether you use valet services or not. Mehr

As we pulled up my friend traveling with me was not impressed and wanted to find another hotel to stay at but when we went to check in she was in shock and surprised. The only thing i was a little concerned with was the bathroom shower. Where the bar of soap and other things can be stored was a little moldy/rusty? Our stay at the Le Montrose Suite was great. The hotel is nestled away in a bedroom community off of Sunset Blvd. Very close to unique shops and eateries. Although warm and cozy, I wouldn’t give this hotel a star rating above 3.5; it is advertised as a 4.5. Also have a $30 per night guest parking fee which is not easily disclosed.

This was a great hotel during our stay in LA. Although it was not that close to any sightseeing or the airport, I would definately choose to stay here again
