Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Lage
Dieses Hotel ist auf Familien mit Kindern bestens eingestellt. Hyatt Regency Bellevue liegt mitten in Bellevue. Folgende Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar: Lincoln Square, Bellevue Square und Bellevue Arts Museum. Einkaufszentrum Bravern und Downtown Park befinden sich ebenfalls in der Nähe.
Ausstattung
Hyatt Regency Bellevue bietet Ihnen Folgendes: Fitnessstudio und Innenpool. Ein W-LAN Internetzugang steht gegen eine Gebühr in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Geschäftsreisenden wird in diesem 4-Sterne-Haus Folgendes angeboten: Businesscenter, Tagungsräume für kleine Gruppen und Konferenzraum. Dieses Hotel für Geschäftsreisende verfügt über folgende gastronomische Angebote: Restaurant und Bar/Lounge. Das Hotelpersonal hilft Ihnen gerne bei allen Fragen weiter. Die Zimmer haben einen WLAN-Internetzugang. Neben einem 32-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher mit Kabel-/Satelliten-TV-Empfang sind die Zimmer mit folgenden Angeboten und/oder technischen Geräten ausgestattet: Pay-TV. Zur Zimmerausstattung gehören außerdem: Schreibtische, kostenlose Zeitungen sowie Telefone mit mehreren Leitungen und Voicemail. Zur Badausstattung gehören: Badewannen-/Duschkombinationen, Kosmetikspiegel und kostenlose Toilettenartikel.

Die Eastside von Seattle ist einer der wohlhabendsten Bezirke Amerikas. Die Anwesen mit einem Wert von mehreren Millionen Dollar am Ufer des Lake Washington dienen als luxuriöses Domizil für einige bekannte Milliardäre, darunter auch Bill Gates. Mit ihren riesigen Bürohochhäusern und Bankentürmen steht die Skyline von Bellevue Downtown der von Seattle in nichts nach. An der Eastside sind mehrere Hauptfirmensitze angesiedelt, u. a. die von Microsoft, Nintendo of America und Eddie Bauer.

Exceptional front desk service and from the valet to all the hotel employees to also the restaurant, great service and if you love shopping the hotel is a block away from the Mall.

"Hyatt, Bellevue- awesome location and nice hotel"
I love everything about this hotel. It's priced well, its clean and large AND it is connected to a huge "entertainment complex" with bowling, dancing, pool tables and a movie theatre. You get complementary parking over the weekend. The only thing that I personally would change is I would put the coffee maker in the room itself, NOT in the bathroom...I […] am unsure why it is there but it shouldn't be there due to hygiene reasons.......therefore, I never drink coffee there. :( Mehr

Great location, you don't have to go outside to get to the Bellevue Mall, Lincoln Center, or restaurants such as Maggianos or Daniels Broiler. The staff was young and very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. Because of their familiarity with their surroundings, they did not rely on routes given by map quest when a better route was known. The […] hotel was quiet with a great lobby, surrounded by boutiques which captured your eyes and awakened your senses. Convenient parking garage. Walking distance to grocery stores QFC, Safeway, Bartell drugs, Cheese Cake Factory. If you are looking for an affordable getaway with all the amenities of eateries, shopping, entertainment. Hyatt Bellevue is most definitely my recommendation. Once there if you venture to Seattle don't miss the chance to visit CJ's Eatery on 1st Ave in Belltown, it opens at 7am and closes around 3pm, the food is astounding, the atmosphere is welcoming, hot coffee, Sonya the owner and her team are fabulous! Four star price for a three star hotel! Because the rooms are not that big, Wi-Fi is not free, TV is a little small, Bathtub is a little small, pool/club is in another building, furniture scratched and old,... In other works all you are paying for it to be able to walk to all the hotspots in Bellevue. Next for the money I will find something nicer.

Check in was discouraging! And I got a 6am wake up call that I NEVER ordered! Woke up my 2 young kids too- one who was very sick. So frustrating!!

When you walk in its like being in a beautifully decorated museum. The calming atmosphere was completely serene and endearing. Checking in was extremely easy. I felt I was treated like family. During the recent ice storm in the Puget Sound Area we got a room at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Bellevue. Due to the storm, all other hotels in the area were full. The price was outragious! Parking was additional and even the bathroom rug was frayed. The next night we found another hotel in the area with an equally nice room except the new hotel also […] had a refrigerator and microwave, did not charge for parking and provided a free full hot breakfast- all for a third of the cost of the Hyatt. We couldn't stay at that hotel past the one night as they were fully booked so we found another hotel in the area with an even nicer room than the second hotel, with a frig & microwave, free parking & all for half of the Hyatt. (This one did not provide a complementary breakfast). These comparisons show that the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue is highly overpriced. Mehr

"Original hotel tower getting tired..."
This is, overall, a great hotel. Service is impeccable as is location. 2 critiques: circulation from garage to hotel lobby is akward and laborius. Condition of original hotel tower rooms is tired, all brown, peeling wallpaper. Could use a fresh look and some neutral colors. EVERYTHING is a shade of brown. I would ask for the new tower.

My wife and I stayed for two nights over the November Rembrance Day (for us Canadians) long weekend. It was nice (particularly compared to downtown Seattle) that parking was free for the weekend. Check-in and check-out was painless and quick (cudos especially to the bellhop Tristan who helped point out the kiosks and made sure everything went smoothly). The […] hotel is exceptionally and conveniently located for shopping at Bellevue Square. The main shops are there and downtown Seattle is only a short 15 minute drive away (which we hit on the way out of town). It was a good alternative for us as the downtown Seattle hotel prices were too high. However, you can pretty much exhaust the shops in the mall in a day. Food options nearby were pretty good as well. The only possible gripes (and minor ones) was the bath tub was pretty tiny (not a soaker) and one day the cleaning staff didn't get to cleaning the room until 6 pm. It's also odd that the exercise facilities are in the building right adjacent to the hotel (have to run across the valet area to access it, which isn't really a bid deal). But otherwise, the staff and hotel were very good and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Mehr

Upon arrival - there was a huge line of people waiting to check in. We felt rushed and did not feel we had enough time to ask questions about the hotel. When we got to our room - we found two used glasses of red wine on the window sill. I later called to ask concierge about area restaurants. He promptly came to my room to give me a list of restaurants […] ( with no descriptions) in the area but, appeared to be in a hurry so I did not ask him questions about local restaurants. Everything was very nice. But and there is always a but.... The bathroom did not have a fan! That is the only complaint we had about the entire stay. Either put fans in the bathrooms or make sure they work. I would stay there everytime I go to Bellevue overnight. Free parking with your stay. Very good for a big city visit.

My husband and I enjoyed the Hyatt! Close to Bellevue Square/Lincoln Square...lots to do. Sky bridges were very convenient. Comfortable bed with down comforter (thin but very warm), very relaxing shower too. Great for a weekend get away. We had a deal with free parking too.

I love this hotel! It is clean, comfortable and the people that work there can't be any more helpful. The only think I would want to see an improvement on is the lighting in the rooms. Not bright enough for me, but over all its one of the best hotels I've been in. I highly recommend it!

For a weekend shopping getaway with friends this hotel was great . Inclement weather forced us to use the covered walkways right to Bellevue Square Mall from the hotel which was fantastic. The surrounding neighbourhood has lots to offer d for dining and entertainment without taking the car out of the garage.
