Days Inn - Downtown - Convention Center - San Diego

Overall not bad. The only thing I did not like was the fact that animals are not allowed. Since you are in a city it does smell a little. Easy access to the freeways. Easy walk to Gaslamp, Little Italy, and the bay. One complaint is the maids did not vacum the dirt off the floor from the night before. Overall, decent experience for the price.

Stayed one night while visiting family in the area. The room was ok, not anything fancy but very clean. Fridge was ice cold. I was a little nervous walking around by myself in the late afternoon so if you are a single woman alone, find someplace closer to downtown. Lots of residential spaces but not a whole lot to do or places to eat unless you want […] to walk about 20 minutes. Internet connection was awful and timed out constantly - not for the business traveler who needs to work. Still, place was clean, staff was friendly, free parking so overall it wasn't bad...just wasn't fabulous either. Mehr

Frige, microwave and coffee maker in room. Not enought news stations on TV. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Would stay again to go to Comic-con. Close enough to walk to CC.

Excellent and great value for a downtown San Diego hotel. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Large room and since we had three bikes they offered us a room with a balcony.

Overall the hotel was good. It was clean and well taken care of. However, Downtown San Diego is alot like downtown LA.(getto) If you have kids this place is not a great location....next time ill stay in mission bay.

Hotel at good place, close to the Gaslamp Quater with friendly staff .

No frills but clean and nice staff. Close by to several nice areas but you have to walk through a couple blocks of sketchy areas to get there. A good value for the cost, but nothing to write home about.

This hotel is adequately acceptable to stay but the noise at night was horrific. The room below for both nights we stayed had a very loud party until 4:00am. Both nights it took until 4:00am for management to put a kabosh on it. The apartment building across the street is apparently being used as a college dorm and produces quite a bit of noise as well. The staff was great. At check-in, the front desk person was able to give us directions to several food options as well as to the start of the Rock n' Roll half we were running the next day. With about 30 minutes of going to our room, they called to make sure we had everything and the room was what we wanted. They extended our check-out time by 30 minutes, […] and even though we were running extremely late from the race (didn't get back to the hotel until 1), the front desk person allowed us to check out later than expected at no charge. We couldn't have asked for a better location for the price. Although we did get charged a little too much by hotels.com because originally we were going to have 4 adults in a room and ended up with only 3, but hotels.com still charged us for 4 people, which was an extra $40 on our bill. OVerall great room and location for the price. It could only be […] better if the price of the room was $50 per night. Then it would be hands down the best place to stay for the price. Mehr

We had a good stay at the hotel

The first sign of trouble was a "waiver" you must sign upon check-in. which does no good. why i put up with the noise and partying until 3am is a good question. upon complaining to the front desk, at 3am that this was enough, they went around to the rooms to tell the "animals" to be quiet. well the party went from the outdoor front balcony to the inside. […] Ugh!. i compained again in the morning / upon checkout, and was told "what would you have liked us to do?" my answer; 6hrs. of my life back. not worth the money, other hotels nearby that are better!. this is a party hotel. You know you are doing something right when you have free parking and a free wi-fi connection and a free continental breakfast that feels more like a real full-on meal. The location was great, if a wee bit off of the boardwalk. Still it made for a nice walk to and from destinations inside San Diego's downtown.

This is the perfect hotel if you are doing anything in downtown San Diego. Free on site parking is a special bonus! Room is clean and has a nice balcony with a view of downtown.

The Hotel is located right off the highway and is only a short walk from the gaslamp area. The parking was free, which saved me a bundle. The rooms are decent, clean and inexpesive fir the area.

The rooms are comfortable, the service was fast and courtious, and the neighborhood was quiet. I did not drive so I paid no fees for parking. The convention center is a bit of a walk for most but I regularly run in the mornings so it was nice . There are taxis everywhere for rides.

Room was very clean. Seemed dated with some minor updates. I travel a bit for work and a good shower in the morning is a key point with a hotel for me. I give this one about a 2 out of 5. We ended up in a room nearest the road passing the hotel. Not bad at night but quite noisy in the morning. Luckily we were on the top floor which helped reduce the […] noise some. Overall OK. Not far from the Gaslamp which was the main reason we chose it. Mehr

チェックインのときクレジットカードから５０ドル引かれ、チェックアウトのときに返金されるようだが、そのことを知らず、いきなり英語で言われたせいか本当に返してもらえるのか心配になった（実際は返してもらえた）。 ホテルマンのある一人は土地柄のせいか陽気な人がいて、混雑してるのに、いろいろしゃべりながら仕事し遅くてイライラした。 エレベーターはのろくイライラした。 部屋のキーはカードを素早く引き出さないと認識されないため、なかなか開かず戸惑った。 停電（ブレーカーが落ちた？）が３回あった。 部屋はいたって普通だった。 わかってればどれも問題ないことでしょうが、いきなりだったのでいろいろ戸惑いました。
