Radisson Lexington Hotel New York - New York

Ich war 3 Tage in New York und habe sehr lange nach einem günstigen Hotel gesucht. Bin dann auf das Radisson gestoßen, das Hotel hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Zimmer sind zwar sehr klein, aber dafür ist die Lage sehr zentral. Ich würde wieder hier absteigen!

Altes, renovierungsbedürftiges Hotel. Zimmer klein (Einzelbelegung) sehr hellhörig, Fenster sehr alt, undicht, ohne Ohropax Schlafen unmöglich, Straßenlärm ununterbrochen. Zimmerwechsel unproblematisch, jedoch überall gleiches Problem. Vorteil: Zentrale Lage, interntl. Flair, gute Umgebung.

Gute Lage und eigentlich alles ganz in Ordnung, vielleicht mit Ausnahme einiger kleinerer Schmutzrückstände im Zimmer, die in ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse eher nicht gehören. War aber nichts Tragisches. Mehr als ok ist das Hotel jedoch nicht für den Zimmerpreis - auch wenn es sich preislich nicht im Luxusbereich bewegt. Etwas mehr für ein anderes Hotel […] bezahlen und dafür etwas mehr Luxus erhalten kann sich durchaus lohnen. (In unserem Fall hiess das einmal mehr: Ab ins Marriott Marquis in ein Zimmer mit herrlicher Sicht auf den Time Square.) Mehr

Das Hotel und die Zimmer war sehr gut. Zimmer sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet jedoch das einzige nicht so tolle war, dass die Zimmer etwas kalt waren, weil die Fenster nicht dicht waren. Das war leider nicht nur in meinem Zimmer so sondern auch bei meinen Freunden ansonsten alles super, kann nur weiter empfehlen. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral.

Alles in allem waren wir mit dem Hotel zufrieden, v.a. die Lage ist super und zum vereinbarten Preis (günstiger Wechselkurs zum Buchungzeitpunkt) konnten wir ein echtes Schnäppchen machen. Die Zimmer hätten zwar wieder mal eine Auffrischung nötig, nach dem Check-in musste die Belechtung noch repariert werden. Internetzugang im Zimmer war kostenpflichtig […] (horrende Preise), was schade ist. Für die Aufbewahrung der Koffer nach dem Check-Out wurden zudem 2 USD pro Koffer verrechnet, was ich zum ersten Mal erlebt habe. Mehr

Unser Aufenthalt begann so La La. Die Zugangskarte für das Zimmer funktionierte nicht, als wir zu unserem Zimmer kamen. Als wir soweit fertig waren, um eine Dusche zu nehmen, hab ich den Schalter für den Ventilator angeknipst, und bemerkte, daß der Ventilator es nicht tat.(Meine Frau fand das nicht toll, nachdem ich ein paar Sachen versucht hatte), […] und als ich mir ein Handtuch vom Halter nahm, fielen mir bräunliche Flecken auf. Als wir in dieser Nacht ins Bett gingen, waren die Laken schmutzig!! Nun ja, ich möchte nicht nur Negatives sagen, weil die Lage großartig war, und das Hotel selbst sehr sauber war. Wir brauchten 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Times Square und etwa genau so lange zum Central Park. Das Bett war komfortabel, und ich konnte kaum Lärm von außen wahrnehmen, das war nett. Extrem praktische Lage. Jede Menge Esslokale, für jeden Geldbeutel, fußläufig erreichbar. Hotel absolut sauber und komfortabel. Personal ist aufmerksam und professionell. Schauen Sie sich das General Electric Building auf der 51st & Lex. A. an. Ein einzigartiges Gebäude!

Das ist ein sehr gut geführtes Hotel, Zimmer sind nett, sauber, etc. aber Vorsicht, denn es gibt in der Nachbarschaft nach 10 oder 11 Uhr abends einige gute Alternativen, was das Essen betrifft, (in Restaurants, oder zum Mitnehmen). Das ist für New York eigentlich ein bißchen ungewöhnlich. Wenn man eine Nachteule ist, oder noch an die kalifornische […] Zeit gewöhnt, ist es besser, an der West Side von Manhatten zu wohnen. Dieses Hotel ist als Standort großartig, allerdings ist das „Schnäppchen“Zimmer, das man hier bekommt, extrem klein, es hat eher die Größe eines Gästezimmers in einem Gästehaus, ich und mein Gepäck passten kaum hinein.

Für mich eine tolle Lage. Sauber, komfortabel, ruhiges Zimmer. Mitarbeiter hat Gebühr für Film storniert, als ich ihm sagte, ich hätte nur ein paar Minuten zu geschaut. Der Concierge hat mir einen guten Friseur empfohlen.

Wahrscheinlich war das Hotel typisch für diese Hotelketten in einer Großstadt. Das Zimmer war nett, der Standort war brilliant,(wir haben allerdings Wochenendtarife bezahlt, die Preise in der Woche waren erschreckend), aber alles war etwas lieblos und langweilig. Personal war nicht so wirklich engagiert, war zu sehr damit beschäftigt, sich um die […] Gäste zu kümmern, die sich beschwerten. Mehr

Ziemlich durchschnittlicher Ort, aber keinerlei Beanstandungen. Fühlte mich sicher, es war sauber und gemütlich. Ich bewohnte einen sog. „Petite Room“, der in der Tat klein war, aber nur für mich allein auf Geschäftsreise war das in Ordnung. Wär ich zum Vergnügen unterwegs gewesen, hätte ich wahrscheinlich etwas mit ein bißchen mehr Charakter gewählt, […] aber das Radisson Lexington war definitv ausreichend. Mehr

Das ist ein sehr angenehmer Zentrums - naher Standort, und der Preis war einigermaßen angemessen, wenn man den Wettbewerb in NYC bedenkt. Das Fitness Center war durchaus gut. Viele moderne Geräte, die gut funktionierten und sauber waren.

Das war eine unglückselige Erfahrung. Toller Standort, und das Hotel war in ziemlich guter Verfassung. Lobby, Concierge und das Personal waren sehr hilfsbereit. Die Preise in der Bar waren überteuert. Die zwei Restaurants und Starbucks waren von der Lobby aus alle fußläufig erreichbar. Das jedenfalls kann alles empfohlen werden!! Das Zimmer war furchtbar. […] Die Wände waren so dünn wie Papier, man konnte den Lärm von unten hören, wenn in einem anderen Zimmer die Toilettenspülung ging, oder jemand eine Dusche nahm, konnte man alles hören. Ganz egal wie, man konnte alle Geräusche von anderen Zimmern links und rechts hören. Auch war das Zimmer zu winzig. Ich würde nicht wieder kommen. Mehr

Schöne Betten...Ich hätte länger bleiben mögen. Es war ein praktischer Standort, das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, und ich habe meinen Aufenthalt ziemlich genossen. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

The location is great and the staff was fine. The bar was insanely expensive, my roomed smelled like cigarettes, the tub was clogged and the room was exceptionally tiny.

My room was a little noisy due a broken window. They claimed to not have another room. I dealt with it. I probably won't be back.

Good location with small size rooms and they need to pay attention to detail in their housekeeping.

I LOVED my PURE room, which had an air purifier in it, and had special accommodations made to make it odor and scent free. The entire room smelled so much different from any other room I've ever stayed in, and I adored it.

Every interaction with staff has been helpful, prompt, and courteous. The room was small, cozy, and neat, despite obvious signs of structural age. However, the walls are thin. Sounds of the elevators and water pipes woke us several times. Other guests swiping their key cards down the hall sound as if they are swiping at your door. Business trip and having stayed here before the hotel continues to provide a comfortable stay.

Great location, Clean room but need a renovation.Shower was weak. Friendly personal.

I've stayed here a couple of times, mostly because of price and location. However, there is always an issue. This time I stayed, the front desk clerk charged me twice for the room and when I spoke to them about they simply stated "It's okay, it will go back into your account in a couple of days." No apologies until I spoke to a manager.

Good and efficient check in. Cleaning and services where ok. The Hotel situated near fifth avenue and all shopping stores. Near to Central Park. Traditional american breakfeast at nearby restaurang. (Raffles) Rather expensive for breakfeast, but good service.

The employees are great - extremely nice and helpful. The restaurant, which also provides room service, is very good. I will definitely stay here again. The only negative thing that I have to say is when I first checked in, the bathroom could have been a little cleaner... but it wasn't too bad, and after that everything was great!

Petite room is just that...

Confortable and clean for the short stay. I had one problem with room service, the menu was not accurate and the food appeared too cool for being freshly prepared.

The hotel was comfortable, clean, quiet and convenient - and the price was right. When I asked if I could check out at 1 rather than 12, they were totally fine with it. And though they didn't have a room ready for me when I arrived at 1pm, they had one at 2 - even though check-in time was officially 3. And there's even a Starbuck's in the lobby!

we booked 2 rooms at this hotel during Easter weekend time 2012. I was completely satisfied with the customer service I received from the doorman to the receptionist. Everything was clean and acceptable from the lobby perspective. however, once I walked into our single full size bedroom I realized how small the room was. i guess for the price i paid […] i should have expected it. I would stay at this hotel again in the future however I'll be booking a much larger room even if i have to pay a higher rate. Mehr

Even with a discounted price, it was too much for an old walk-in closet size room. Could not recommend to a friend.

Rooms in New York are never a value for the price but this very samll room was far below the three and half star rating as advertised. I was given a room on the forth floor beside a hugh A/C blower which came on loadly every half hour. Since I was tired from only four hours sleep the night before and an early morning flight I went straight to bed. I […] was awaked repeatedly by the blower. Therefore, it wasn't until the next morning that I saw all the trash left by the previous lodger that hadn't been cleaned up. I also found the complementary ear plugs on the floor. Mehr

This was the third time I stayed in this hotel in the last two months. It is reasonably priced for my business trips. The last two times I visited, the hotel staff "upgraded" my room. I would have liked more desk space for my laptop and printer but, the accomodations were sufficient. I chose this hotel because it was a 5 minute walk to the office where […] I met clients. Although my interaction with the staff was limited, they were helpful and pleasant. I would recommend for business travelers. Mehr

This hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance to 5th Avenue and Grand Central Station. Expect to pay an additional charge if you want access to the int Ernest.

This is a great hotel. The service was very considerate and upgraded my room based on their excess availability and because my room wasn't ready when I arrived to check-in, even though I arrived hours before scheduled check-in time. The quality of the room was very clean and modern. The only drawback is that the wifi is relatively expensive.

This hotel was in a neighborhood of hotels in Midtown. It is within one block of 5 other hotels, so this is a very busy tourist area in midtown. Liked: Great location; 3 blocks from 6 train, 4 blocks from Grand Central and 4,5,6 S, 7 and Metro North trains. Staff was great, room was 140 sq feet, but comfortable and you get to control the temperature […] through the thermostat, a huge plus for me. Disliked: Not much. Pretty good experience. The hotel restaurant and bar were par for the course, nothing special. Mehr

My colleagues and I were very satisfied with our stay for the most part but the internet hindered our ability to get some work done. A very important presentation took hours to upload. It was problematic. Otherwise, we were happy with the convenience for our meetings, cleanliness, service, sushi, and more.
