Great location. Clean room and a Starbucks in the Lobby. Would stay there again.

Excellent value for the quality and location ( across the street from the Waldorf, Inter Continental and East Side Marriott ).

This was my first time at this hotel and it was outstanding. The service was great and the atmosphere was comfortable. The room was warm and clean and had everything you needed. I recommend everyone to stay here if your in the city.

The hotel was modern and clean, the room was extremely small and cramped. The staff was not helpful at all in providing advice on attractions and dining etc, the staff also refused to provide an extra blanket when the room got a bit chilly

My recommendation would be to find another hotel. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. I had to call maintenance at 10 pm because the toilet wouldn't quit flushing (i'm talking industrial toilet with the handle I push with my shoe), and the dresser drawer wouldn't close. The room was so small that I couldn't get around the bed with the dresser drawer […] permanently open. Not a good experience. Mehr

Rooms are small, worn out, and my non-smoking room smelled like urine and cigarettes.

I was able to walk to Grand Central Station every day to take the train to my customer site. The proximity to everything is second to none. Interesting amenity set up with the hotel space but all was pleasant.

i took an order of three days firstly ,but i want to stay in NY longer ,then i took another tow days order when i sit in the lobby of radisson. i asked the manager whether i need to move to another room and i did not want to move , they told me:" no ,you needn't. "" are u sure" i asked again and given by the same answer. But when i came back to the […] room in the next evening ,somebody i don't konw open the door and told me he moved into the room in the morning. i worried about my Luggage ,but Radisson didn't sure where it was ,cause they could not connect with the cleaner with the key of cleaner's room. The old lady i didn't konw her name did not show patience and made me little angry.I had to move to another room ,and tole them give me a toothbrush. they said ok ,but no one gave me that before i call them again. The next moring ,the cleaner gave me a lardge plastic bag full of my goods,but there was a pair of socks not belong to me,the sock with smell, wow! how lucky i was! a pair of sock with smell. Mehr

Had to make a last minute reservation in NYC, chose this hotel for location and for price. We found the staff to be very helpful, we were upgraded to a larger room which we appreciated. It was clean and comfortable.

This is our second time at the Radisson and hopefully it will not be our last. The location is great for us - easy to get downtown, uptown and to the West Side either walking or public transportation. The staff is very pleasant and helpful., The room was small but that is NYC! There is a great Chinese restaurant in the hotel as well as Starbucks in […] the lobby. Mehr

These matchbox rooms are okay if you won't be in there much and are solo. The Full bed would be tough for two used to a queen or better. Easy walk to Grand Central for Shuttle to Times Sq. Or you can walk 3 blks North for lines unavailable at Grand Central. Staff generally friendly.

The people at the Bellhop station were unfriendly and difficult to approach.

Wishing to find a nice hotel to stay with my girlfriend for a romantic stay in New York, we chose the Radisson for it's location and nice rooms. Sadly we where very disappointed on the second point. The room we where offered was supposedly a non smoking room but it smelled very strongly of smoke (a previous client, but it should be corrected before […] the next client comes...). And as a alternative the only possibility was a room over a night club and just in front of the ventilation of a fast food restaurant (so very strong smell of fried oil). On the other hand the staff was friendly and tried to help out. Mehr

construction was going on in the side entrance area leading to the starbucks...a little congested but manageable. rooms small but well maintained.pricing deal was good.

The hotel room was great for the amount we paid for it. My boyfriend and I stayed in a petite room. It was perfect for our short trip to Manhattan. If you are looking for an affordable and convenient hotel, this is the one for you. The only down side is that you do not get any frills that you may receive at other nearby hotels. My sister and her husband […] stayed at the W Hotel the same nights and had some extra amenities (a car that would take you where ever you needed with a reservation for free). However, their hotel room was about double the price as ours. Overall, very good hotel for a short trip! Mehr

For the price, this hotel is great. It is your typical sized hotel room for NYC although I have had much smaller!! The room furnishings were updated, although you can definitely tell it is an old building. Good value for the location.

You can hear the water running through the walls everytime someone in the surrounding rooms uses water. Kept me up all night long.

Stayed at the Radisson on Lexington and it represents a good value when they offer special rates. Rooms are on the small size so upgrade to Guest Room from Petite Room is recommended. Location is excellent.

Excellent location for business or tourism. I was doing both. Close to Grand Central, Rockerfeller center and central park. The price was unbelievable as well. Kudos to Hotels.com. They always come thrpugh for me.

My first experience at this hotel was great. No problems checkinng in, service was exceptional, and the comfort level was satisfactory. This caused me to make a decision and return. Normally I stay at the Sheriton but decided to stay in he city. This was a big mistake starting at check in. The room that I have reserved and paid in full was not ready. […] I was assured that the room would be ready within the hour. This was told to me after several inquisitions later for two dditional hours. I did not end up receiving a room until four hours later with the excuse of an airline checking out at 8pm because of prividleges. This is unacceptable. Additionally, the room was freezing cold the entire time. Heat control is lacking and I was uncomfortable the whole stay. The bathroom was not properly energy saving as cold air circulated throughout making it uncomfortable to shower. I will seriously reconsider booking online in the future. Mehr

After my stay at the Raddison over the New Years holiday I would not reccommend this hotel to someone else. At first the stay was going great but nothing to call home about. Staff customer service was average and they did a basic job of covering our needs. However, I got sick during this trip with an Ear infection. I called the customer service desk […] at 6 a.m. in the hopes to have them direct me to an appropriate health care facility. i just needed a walk in clinic. The hotel staff did not seem to hear my concerns and asked me to call back if I needed an ambulance called. I was in pain and was very frustrated by this behavoiur. I have since learned that many hotels have medical staff present and are able to help their customers at a moments notice which would have been helpful. I found my own doctor and ended up paying $200.00 for a simple presciption for an ear infection. Prior to leaving for my appointment with the doctor I approached the staff again and they asked me again if I needed an ambulance. The woman then returned to her work at a computer and seemed to be dismissive of my issues. I was in alot of pain and the doctor said it was good that I came in when I did as flying back home would have been impossible in my given condition. I left the hotel soon after this experience to go to another hotel where we were treated very well. They quickly and sympathetically helped me feel better. I think that the posh and snobby attitude of this hotel will ruin its otherwise great location. Mehr

I liked my stay at the hotel. It was close to restaurants.I prefer in house coffee maker and free parking. I got a big ticket around the corner,when I thought I was safe parking on a federal holiday,Jan.16.ny is not user friendly to me.

For the price I paid, I was expecting the worst. However, the room was clean, albeit small. The hotel service was just okay. The location was amazing as well! I could walk everywhere I wanted to go (Penn Station, the subway, Times Square, etc.) My biggest complaint were how thin the walls were. I could hear everything my neighbors were saying/doing. […] All that said, I would stay there again in a second! Mehr

My stay was a good one.

The hotel is convenient for the surrounding area. My room had the bare bones. Sometimes, the maid service makes mistakes as taking away blankets or not having mats for the bath after bathing. But they also try to please and will be attentive if you alert them to it. I like to be able to use their computer service which is available to all guests. Hotel is amazingly located but be ready it's not a quiet location, it's midtown Manahttan so that should come as no surprise. Layla at bcustomer service was awesome! She's having a baby girl soon. Hope it goes well for her. She was friendly and incredibly helpful as was the rest of th staff. Nice small comfortable room...good enough, especially nice […] if your in your room with everything that is happening in New York then why did you even bother. I reccommend this hotel especially for those people looking to avail themselves of all New York has to offer. Mehr

I knew that a "petite" room would be small, but i didn't realize that it would have a double bed, not a queen. Bit small for two. That was probably in the fine print, so I don't blame the hotel. However the comforter was really lumpy, which was weird. The desk chair was too big for the entire room, and it was impossible to move it out of the way unless […] i picked it up and lifted it over the bed. The window didn't have a screen, and our room was on the 20th floor. The closet smelled like chinese food, which was SUPER weird. I was worried my clothes might smell like chinese food after hanging them in there. Luckily for me, they did not. The bathroom was fine, but a little old. Also, after living in new york city for a while, I was well aware that manhattan street parking DOES in fact exist, especially on the weekends, even if it's hard to find. The front desk clerk tried to convince us the best bet was to park in the garage near the hotel for $30 a night (before NYC parking taxes). Found parking on the west side in our old neighborhood, a 20 min walk across town. Not ideal, but it's NYC. Also, there was closer street parking to be found in the exact neighborhood (midtown east) that the hotel was situated. Disappointed that the desk clerk "didn't know" and tried to convince us that "there was really no street parking around." I didn't sleep well, and i didn't particularly like being in the hotel room. Sort of tainted my weekend trip to the city, to be honest. I've been more comfortable sleeping on friends' couches. Granted, it would be more comfortable if it was just ME staying in the room. It's designed for one, i think. But just as a word of warning, it's doable for two, but it ain't comfortable. Mehr

Tough to see the entrace on Lexington - you must go through the Starbucks coffee shop to get to the lobby. Sleep Number bed was so-so, but clean sheets and clean bathroom made the stay very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. $16 to use the Internet in room, but free guest account in the lobby.

We are former new yorkers and longtime Hotels.com members, and with the exception of the quick check-in and courtesy of the concierge desk, found the Radisson very disappointing. Once out of the lobby, we were in smelly elevators, dank halls, surrounded by very thin walls, in a room described as "luxury queen"--the bed was barely a double, the bathroom […] smaller than a closet, with no place to put toilet kits. The bathroom floor was not clean, the tlles were not clean, and the towels were incredibly thin. We did not expect four-star at that rate, and don't expect suites when we go to the city, since we only use the rooms to sleep in. But sleep didn't happen, since the bed was very uncomfortable, the maid was vacuuming the room on one side at 11 pm, and the man on the other side of ours was loudly very angry about something--again, paper thin walls. This was very disappointing for a major chain, in a high-end NYC neighborhood both for business travelers and tourists. We have many choices when we stay in the city, and this will not be one of them in the future. Mehr
