Quality Inn Boardwalk - Ocean City

...And that is not necessarily a bad thing. The location was great, the hotel service was fine, and the room was clean. However, the place was old, some paint was coming off, the furniture was not the best, and the bathroom...well, it looked like an old bathroom. If you were going in the summer and you would not be in the hotel very often than this […] place is fine. But if you go off season and you might be spending more time in there than usual, it would only be okay. Also, I appeared to have some allergy to something in the room. None of my kids or wife had any issue so it could have just been me, but if a few more people say the same thing than I would be wary. Would I stay there again? I am not sure. If I was going in the summer and the price was right I think I might. Off season...no. Mehr

Great, clean, large room with kitchen

The restaurant service was below par. We had to ask a busboy to get a waitress after being there for over 15 minutes.

Double beds small for two, mattress too soft and uncomfortable.

The room was just what we wanted. Had a full kitchen and a small sitting area so we didn't spend all day on the bed since it was February and we just wanted to get away for a weekend. The room was fine, beds were uncomfortable and it wasn't cleaned behind the tables (we found someones reading glasses). It was a good hotel for what we wanted.

The room we had seemed dingy and in need of renovation. The bathroom was recently remodeled but the layout of the room was strange, You had to open the bathroom door in order to leave the room. There was a fuse box on the wall that was rusted and looked like a fire hazard.

The room was larger than we expected. ALL of the staff were GREAT;especially maid service. The indoor pool made the trip awesome. ONLY thing not great was TV service.

Very nicely located in the middle of Boardwalk, easy stroll down to the inlet. Staff upgraded me to Ocean Front before i checked in, nice touch. Only suggestion, Shower head very hard to adjust and still couldn't get it quite right. Minor issue. Recommend highly.

My overnight stay at this hotel was a mostly positive experience except for a few minor issues that I didn't bother the staff with. My biggest worry was that I couldn't close the drapes at night, just the sheers closed. Didn't feel very private. Also the bathroom flourescent lights didn't work in the morning after working correctly the previous evening. […] Due to beautiful sunny weather, the lights really didn't make a difference. Multiple square pillows were uncomfortable. Repairs are needed, but overall the room was clean, the restaurant and bar were good and service was courteous and friendly. my daughter walked in the room and said "omg this is awesome" and then facebooked it how wonderful this one nite was gonna be... and all she was doing was sleeping there.. wow, is she easy to please... i loved it too,,, had a kitchen bath two beds, plenty of space, coffee and the best ocean view ever, with a great balcony...even took a nap out there... […] the pool and the hot tub were soooo nice... very clean.. the heat lamp in the bathroom was great since it was november... we will definately be back again and again Mehr

The 4 pillows on the bed are appreciated.... but why did they remind me of meatballs.... maybe because they were small and more square than rectangles. Few channels to watch, It was nice to open the balcony door and here the ocean all night. Note this more of a motel with outside entrances rather than a hotel. Great efficiencies. I will stay again

The place was o.k. when we went to take a shower the water wouldnt turn off they fixed it right away however we had them up 3 times to fix the toilet and they never fixed it you had to flush it 4 or 5 times before it flushed by the time we left it didnt flush at all.they said they had pots and pans which they did but they had 1 tiny 6 inch frying p […] an. While the location was good and the hotel staff seemed friendly, the maintenance of the room was horrible. The "non-smoking" room smelled like an ashtray. The mold in the shower and near the air conditioner was disgusting. The refrigerator was dirty. The blinds in the window were busted. The chain lock left us with an unsafe feeling. Better than expected! The room was very clean, the staff was always happy to help, and the location was perfect! Easy to get to and just off the boardwalk, within walking distance to the carnival.

We chose the weekend of the armed forces airshow, which equaled not a peaceful weekend for reading by the pool.

Great location on the beach/boardwalk and since it was at 16th street, it was not down in all the commotion yet it was close enough to walk (or ride the tram) there for a visit and then come back for a quiet night's sleep. There are still plenty of great restaurants (like Phillips and the Embers) only a few blocks from the motel.

Hotel was very convenient and comfortable. Bed Pillows were a little small (square) but room was clean and comfortable. Wish we could afford to go back again but summer rates are VERY high.

I was nervous after reading some of the other reviews. I had stayed at this hotel many times before and it had been over 5 years since my last visit. We were totally impressed with every aspect of the hotel. Pools were clean, rooms were very updated and clean, bathroom was like new. We had no problems getting extra towels. We were able to use a chair […] from the hotel for on the beach, free of charge. We were on the ground floor and I expected it to be really noisy, but it wasn't really. Would defintely recommend it. I had a great stay in OC while in these accomadations the room was in a great location to the boardwalk as far as dinning and stores overall we had a great time.

The beds were not done when we checked in. Casued inconveniences. It was taken are late evening when we are supposed to go to bed. Please take care of these things for customers.

Our room had two double beds, a fold out couch, chair with ottaman, television with DVD player and a full kitchen table with chairs and full kitchen (including dishwasher). There was also a balcony that offered a side view of the ocean, it had a table and two chairs. It was off season, so the outdoor pool was closed. But there was a decent sized indoor […] pool and a large hot tub. There was also a game room, which we did not visit. All of the machines in the workout room were covered with plastic, I think they were doing maintenance in that room. Overall, this hotel is a good deal for the money you pay- considering it has a full kitchen and the rooms are very large. It is a little dated. Beware going off season- some ammenities may be out of order, and the hotel will be under maintenance. Call ahead to check on these things. Mehr

Place is well-kept. Very courteous and pleasant personnel. Indoor pool and spa was a plus over a cold weekend - both well maintained. Room was spacious, with a balcony that gives you a good view of the Atlantic Ocean & beachfront. Good location for eateries, entertainment, churches and the famous boardwalk. Chairs are tired from hotel use. Room had […] mocrowave, refrig, coffee maker, toaster, stove & oven...all the comforts of home. Internet is FREE if used in the lobby area. It is FREE with an I-Bridge, which they were out of during our stay. (that was the ONLY major set-back of the stay). Bathroom a little outdated but who really needs style in a bathroom? Good stay, would stay here in an instant and will gladly recommend to anyone considering staying here. Mehr

I stayed at the Quality Inn Oceanfront. Everything about my stay was fantastic. The front desk was extremely helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent. Beautiful view of the ocean. The lobby with the pool was really pretty. It is a very "kid friendly" hotel. There were beautiful birds in the lobby...nice touch. I've heard that the restaurant […] was very good, however we didn't get to eat there. I would definitely recommend this hotel...and can't wait to go back again. Mehr

I didn't mind the hotel, but our room left a great deal to be desired. Our toilet continued to run non-stop. The room was very worn, and could use updating. You could see daylight through the 1/2 gap between the door and door jam. The beds had little black particles on them. I did not see any insects but in light of all the recent reports of bedbugs […] I was really paranoid. I wouldn't let our grandson sit on the furniture. At least I could see what might have been on the white bedding, I loved staying at a neighboring hotel as we had in the past but my husband thought we would go with the less expensive room and you do really get what you pay for. He told me the next time, we will pay the $20. extra dollars and go where we know we will be more comfortable. Perhaps you will get a better room in the interior rooms. My recommendation is avoid the side view rooms. Good luck. Mehr

All went well, no hassells considering the room rate. Only wished i know I booked ground floor. Stay went as planned, room clean and ready.

Althought location is great rooms were dated and worn.. Hotel need remodelling..Blue toilest and green carpets are no longer current.

The hotel was showing it's age, but all in all not a bad place to stay. A great location on the boardwalk, on the beach, with two nice pools out front.

After complaining about the beat-up first room I was moved to a room with an ocean view. The rooms are ok but outdated. The ocean view is nice and the location is great. Wifi only in lobby. The pool maintenance is also a bit lacking.

The hotel.com site says this hotel offers complimentary breakfast. However, at the check in, we were told this was not true. The hotel does not offer free breakfast at all. We felt we were mid led by Hotel.com. The hotel facilites are very old. The towels are worn and thin and bad quality. They do not seem very clean either. We did not feel comfortable […] of using them. Also, I don't know whether it was because we booked the room from hotel.com, rather than from the hotel itself, we were assigned probably one of the worst room of the hotel. It was on the 1st floor right across the trash cans. The room had many flies. The good part of the hotel is the location is good, right on the boardwalk. It has two outdoor pools, which are relatively of swimmable size. Mehr

The hotel was outstanding. The service was helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I am very picky about the comfort level of the beds and they passed my critical inspection. I loved this hotel and I will stay there again.

We thought this was a great location if you are looking for a stay on the boardwalk. There are two outdoor pools as well as an indoor pool which helps to accomodate guests without overcrowding. We also enjoyed the convenience of the pool bar and grill. We would recommend this hotel.
