I thought that the service was impecable and I'd like recognize the staff that ran the dining area during breakfast which was included with the cost of the stay. The dining room staff were friendly, personable and helpful.

This is THE WORST hotel I have stayed at as far as noise. If you want a peaceful night don't stay here. All you can hear are loud dump trucks driving by all night. Horrible. Will NEVER stay there again.

Hotel in lousy area. Too much noise during the night. Woke me several times. Hidden parking fee which did not show up on initial reservation. Took way to much time to check in.

We had a good view of the stadium m&t ;) ... Continental breakfast was great !! I wasn't. far from anything the room was very local easy to get bk n forth. It was my first time staying at a holiday express inn and I enjoyed it we even paid for another. Night There. I enjoyed myself glad I chose this one to enjoy our stay in Baltimore

Pleasant staff, very clean, was nice to see a security guard outside when I got in a 2am. Only dissapointment was the continental breakfast....they were out of alot of things, and it was early when I went down. I would definitely stay there again.

We have a great experience at the hotel. The location was about a 10-15 minute walk to the stadiums. We were in town for the NFL playoffs, so it worked great for us. The area around the hotel isn't the nicest, but overall not an issue. All the entertainment areas are within about 10 minutes by cab. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay. Lobby and breakfast area were impeccably clean and fresh. Room was comfortable and clean with just the right amount of adjustable heat. I would have liked to have had a luggage rack to use and I should have asked if one was available. My mistake, we ended up having suitcases & travel bags on the floor for 3 days. […] One "hiccup" about our stay. A gift package was dropped off at the front desk for us and no one bothered to call our room. We accidentially found out about it talking to the clerk as we were leaving. She said "did you get your gift bag"? I said no and she handed us a package from my daughter that was delivered earlier that morning. No harm done but what a hassle it would have been to retrieve it after we had gone. We will definately stay on Russell St. again. Mehr

The staff was friendly and our room was nice. The location is convenient, right near the freeway, and parking was cheaper than most other hotels in the area. I would definitely stay there again if I need to come back to Baltimore. :)

nice hotel, area around is run down industrial but no real problems. Parking was $10 bucks per night. I HAVE NEVER PAID TO PARK AT A HOTEL !

No bar, no restaurant, one person working the front desk, 10.00 parking per day, no entrance door to the other end of building, forcing me to walk up and back the full length of the hotel, no microwave, even the delivery guy forgot to get me a reciept....what was there to like about it. as a worldwide business traveller, I would never stay here again, […] nor recommend it......Pay the few extra dollars and stay somewhere nice!!!! Very poor service we arrived at 1 and were told it would be 20 minutes until check in after an hour were told it was gunna be ready soon the manger was just checking the room. Then after another 45 minutes we were told it was going to be another half hour to an hour. We wound up missing our restaurant reservation and were very dissatisfied with the […] service. Mehr

I had a very nice stay at this Holiday Inn Express. Leon , Mike and the security guy were extremely nice and very helpful. The only issue that I experienced is that when I reserved my room I asked for 2double beds and thats what I paid for however they gave me a king size bed which was a difference in price. However when I addressed this issue it was […] rectified right away. Had a wonderful experience. Mehr

We were just in town last weekend for the Jets/Ravens game. The hotel is very close to M&T Stadium--definitely easy walking distance. Surrounding area was not as sketchy as previous posts led me to think. Hotel is located on a busy street with a lot of convenience sotres/gas stations across the way--not much nearby (other than stadium) you'd want to […] visit but the staff was quickly able to get taxis to arrive wheen needed and most of the places we wanted to go were only a short taxi away. We thought the staff was wonderful, the free breakfast pretty good, the parking secure and reasonable cost, maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel were above average. FIRST room shown bad odor, moved to another right away w/o issue. hot bfst better than expected. staff very accommodating. parking fee reasonable. fair value overall for cost.

This hotel was not close to the Inner Harbor, but they had a shuttle service which was very convenient. The front desk prsonnel were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast had many choices. The only thing I didn't like was that there were no restaurants, even fast food, nearby.

Overall it was a very good experience! The hotel staffs are very helpful! It's not too far from the Camden Yard Stadium! Hotel provided shuttle bus from and to the Inner Harbor! The only thing is the air conditioner in the room's a big noisy!

Hotel staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We stayed here to go to a ballgame at Camden Yards, the complimentary shuttle was perfect to get us there and back. Free hot breakfast in the morning was also a plus!

I waited until 4:20 to get checked in and then I had to take a different bed style as that was all that was ready. One elevator broken and general things broke and poorlt repaired. I caught my pants on a hanging piece of molding on the third floor right out side the elevator and when I looked at the board it had bathroom caulking holding in on the wall […] because it had been pulled off many times before. Good place to stay if you are in Baltimore for business. The restaurant looks nice and the staff is friendly. The room was clean but the AC was noisy and hard to regulate. Parking was quite expensive.

Our service was great! The rooms were nice and clean, and so were the bathrooms. The breakfast offered more options than I was expecting, which is a definite plus. The shuttle to and from the Inner Harbor was nice and a great option to have. I also really appreciated the secure parking. The only issue I had was it said all rooms come with a sofa bed, […] which is not the case. I suggested they change that on their website, because it is misleading. They were able to provide us with a rollaway bed, but one of the main reasons I booked the hotel was due to the queen beds and sofa bed in each room. Mehr

I like the price, The staff, The breakfast, The room. It is one a main road surrounded by a slightly rough neigborhood. If you can find out get a room not facing the main road in front. Besides the 3 am drunk people in the hall way and traffic noise it was a clean comfortable hotel with nice staff.

Nothing special. Standard Holiday Inn. Carpets were not as clean as I would have liked. Free breakfast was so-so. I needed a place to stay while my electric system was updated. I would not vacation there.

Five minute walk to M&T Stadium. Shuttle service to and back from Inner Harbor. Family friendly atmosphere.

After a transportation nightmare that began in LA, worsened in Denver, leading to a flight to LaGuardia at 9 p.m. instead of Philly at 5 p.m., we drove from New York City, arriving in Baltimore at 1:30 in the morning. I'd called ahead to make sure that our reservation would be secure when we arrived. The desk clerk was very friendly; our room and beds […] were comfy and clean. In the morning when the hair dryer didn't work, maintenance arrived in 2 MINUTES to fix it. The female maintenance staff worker was kind, competent and very nice! We missed breakfast because we slept in before going to Johns Hopkins. But the hotel stay was our light at the end of the tunnel! Also, it was a great introduction to the friendliness of Baltimore where my nephew plans to attend college for the next four years. Mehr

pros: reasonable rates free internet free breakfast room was pretty clean convenient area for sporting events free shuttle to inner harbor -works well as a "just sleep" hotel, -staff is cordial cons: -parking fee per day is reasonable, but there were never any spots available and during whole stay the electronic gate never worked. Hotel took off charges […] after we complained not being able find a spot -Bldg not so sound proof, if you are a silent sleeper take note, its off a busy street so request higher floor. This didnt really bother me, but its worth mentioning. -2nd floor hallway centerpiece table had heavy dust around vase that was never dusted during the whole stay. -Maintenance issues: the shower handle and shower head were loose. need to paint the cracks and stains above the bathroom shower. Perhaps some upkeep needed. Also light in wall light bulb not working at check in. Would I stay there again? the price per night would determine this. Mehr

This hotel is fantastic if you are going to a Ravens or Orioles game. The location is within short walking distance to both stadiums. Because the stadiums have very little tailgating space, this hotel is a great place to be for your pre-game warm up. The hotel is also very close to the Inner Harbor and Federal Hill, which are loaded with great bars […] and restaurants. The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was hot and fresh, and included with the price of the room. The sausage, biscuits and gravy were excellent. It is very easy to get to from the airport as well. Highly recommended. Room was very nice. Breakfast was incredible - yum those cinnamon rolls! Desk people were very kind and helpful as we looked for information about Fort McHenry. Location about 3 minutes from ball fields and 5 minutes from Fort McHenry. Only complaint deals with the freeway getting to hotel. There is no north exit when on south bound freeway. Could exit […] going the opposite direction of hotel, then turn around in industrial area and head back to hotel, but didn't realize that until too late. Went to next exit, got off, re-entered freeway and got off on the exit heading toward hotel. Oh, well, we learned - late at night! Mehr

the only problem i had was we had a smoking room, and we don't smoke..so the smell in the room was sickening.next time i will be sure to get a non smoking room.everything else was great, free breakfast was very convienient.

The front desk staff was friendly and our room and bedding were very clean. I have to complain though about the fact that no shampoo was available. Lotion and conditioner were provided in our room so they must have known they were out of shampoo when they put those in the bathroom. We asked several times at the front desk and even asked the people pushing […] supply carts in the hallway if they had shampoo. They said the new shipment was running late and they didn't have any. It's very inconvenient to have to go buy shampoo to take a shower in a hotel. Mehr

Great location for a Ravens game or any event at the M&T stadium.Its easy to get to downtown Baltimore from here. Only issue I had it was a little noisy at night

Nice to stay if going to a football game--very easy access to the stadium. Not real close to anything else though. Although I think there was a shuttle from the hotel to Inner Harbor, but only ran until around 9:30 or 10:00pm. Overall, a nice place to stay. Everyone was very friendly!
