ein gutes und sauberes Hotel mit traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Es liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegen, was für uns aber kein Problem war da wir Mietwagen hatten. Die Zimmer sind schön groß mit Balkon. Lediglich die Klimaanlage ist etwas laut.

Das Zimmer war gross und eigentlich sauber, aber die Ecken wurden vernachlässigt. Das Zimmer hatte keinen Safe. Den einen Trackt sind sie am renovieren. Die ganze Anlage hat schon bessere Zeiten erlebt. Die Beach ist ebenfalls nicht sonderlich einladent. Vielleicht waren wir von der Westküste (Clearwater Beach) zu sehr verwöhnt, oder wir haben an der […] Ostküste eine falsche Wahl getroffen. Mehr

Nice hotel. Great service. Beds comfortable.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's a very nice community with lots of friendly locals. Dinner, shopping, gas, etc. all within a short distance. The hotel suites are all ocean-view suites with a lot of hotel amenities. I would recommend this hotel to others. Very convenient to airport and surrounding must-sites.

Excellent location...wish A1A was a little quieter but had a very nice stay and glad we switched to a higher floor with adjoining rooms with my daughter and grandson...it made a big difference.

everything was perfect, the room was comfortable and nice, the oceanview was spectacular and with the sliding glass door open you could hear the ocean, we were very pleased when i come back next year i will stay in the same hotel

we wish they had a screen door on patio,so we could leave it open.

We have a family of 4 and the Hotel room had two rooms that has a door to close off one room from the other. Pull out couch with 2 Queens and an Ocean View. Kids didn't have to share a bed and the other room had its own TV. Slept with the sliding door open all night to listen to the waves. During the day we sat on the beach rented 2 lounge chairs with […] an umbrella . Mostly families in the area and in the hotel which made it nice for the kids to socialize and leave the parents alone. Pool with a pool side bar with food. Food and drinks were pricey and the service was a bit slow. Pool and a hot tub, crowded during the day but at night was not an issue. A lot of local restaurants within a couple of miles. We are coming back soon. Mehr

Ceck in was a mess even with reservatiion. Hotel under staffed. Hotel was clean, but due to being under staffed everything was slow. Pool side bar service was excellent and could not be improved other thn hiring someone to assist bartender with food. Beach area was excellent and clean..

We had a nice family vacation. The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice. The rooms were larger than we expected.

The hotel is a nice one with good amenities. If you don't mind poor customer service from the front desk to the Careline to the restaurant, then you won't mind this hotel. If you expect common courtesy, then this is NOT the place for you. We won't return to this establishment because of the lack of concern from the employees.

My husband, son, and I stayed at the Doubletree over our spring break and had a lovely time. The room was quite comfortable and we found the extra room in our suite quite accomodating because our 13 year old son was traveling with us. It was very nice for both of us to have the privacy. Our son especially enjoyed having his own TV. The hotel and suite […] was clean and the beach was right there for us to enjoy. We will return to the Doubletree the next time we are in Melbourne Beach for sure. Mehr

Lovely Hotel, great veiw of the beach from your room and the beach wasn't crowded at all. Rooms were nice, but the beds were a little too hard, but over all very nice hotel

Stayed here for 3 nights and have to say that the room and the hotel were perfect. Hotel located right on beach with a spectacular view (we were on 8th floor). The hotel room layout was great for us as we traveled with a 2-year old. He went to bed early in the bedroom which we were able to close off. We stayed up late watching movies in front room area. […] There were laundry machines that we were able to use on 2nd floor. Great restaurant onside. Reasonably pried room service. Lots of restaurants nearby and grocery stores. Fridge and microwave in room. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. It took us a little over an hour to get to this hotel from Disney world. We really like this hotel, and they've done some recent remodeling that really freshened up the look of the hotel. Every room has a beach-front view and accessing the each, straight from the hotel - lovely. Our only disappointment this time was the hotel restaurant - we had very poor service and, even after we asked the manager about our food, no one […] came to give us an update on the status of our order and my chicken quesadilla was crummy. Still, we do really like this hotel and will likely return there often while we're in the area. Mehr

The hotel was in a perfect spot on the beach. We stayed on the 3rd floor which was good for the ocean views. Any lower floors would be somewhat blocked by the vegetation. We loved the warm cookies and the nice shampoo and soaps. The room was spacious and having 2 tv's was a plus. I would definetely go back again.

The door to the balcony did not work, couldn't lock.The fabric on the furniture was dirty. The table was broken and could not open. The battery on the remote was low and did not work well at all. We booked through Hotels.com and got a low floor and not the best view....I guess they don't like Hotels.com!!!!! would not go here again.

We booked this hotel for the beach location and "Ocean View". All rooms do have an ocean view except for the 1st floor. The view from the 1st floor is blocked by the dunes. The 2nd floor has a less restricted view again because of the dunes. When we arrived we were told we had to stay on the 1st or 2nd floor because we had a pet. Typically pet owners […] are restricted to the 1st floor but because it was full we got the 2nd floor. We could see the ocean but didn't have the panoramic view we anticipated. We also had been told our dog could go on the beach which turned out to be untrue. We checked in around 2pm but when the clerk realized we had a pet she said the room wouldn't be ready until 4pm "at the latest". She took our number and called after 4:30. The room was fine except that the toilet lid wouldn't stay up. The kind of thing that's irritating for what we paid per night. This hotel struck me as the kind of place where someone up the line made a decision about pets but the staff hasn't bought in. We felt criminal because we had a 22lb dog with us. Mehr

We booked our room through Hotels.com, and the rate was not cheap! We booked here because we've been to this hotel before and loved it and the oceanview. BEWARE, if you book online and get a discount, if appears you get the least desirable rooms....and your stuck there.They booked us on the first floor, we asked to have a view of the water and we were […] told there was no other rooms available, the hotel was booked! Rooms on the first floor have a view of tall mangroves...not the ocean. Also, you cant leave your sliding door open at night to hear the ocean, (which we wanted to do) because its not safe to leave your door open on the first floor. We complainned to the manager to no avail. We were told to check in the morning to see if we could be moved for the second night of our stay, which we did and got the same nonsense. " We are booked,no rooms available"! There were actually people checking in at that time and getting rooms higher then first floor.( They must have paid full price.) Also, the room we were in had a clogged drain in the shower, and we had to wait for maintenence to unclog the drain before my husband could take his shower Despite maintenence man doing his best effort, the same thing happened the next day. Very disappointing, will not go back! Mehr

Very disappointed in the hotel finishes. Needs a renovation. Staff was not customer service oriented.

We origionally booked this hotel thinking it would be a nice; inviting hotel. Upon arival, We walk to our room which are all outside accessable; to find the doors and window seals are in terrible shape. They have rest everywhere and look like it has not been painted since it was built. We stayed on the second floor so for us to leave we had to walk […] down an exit stairwell. Other than being rusty, the stairway floor looked like they had a leak bc there was a puddle between levels (inside stairwell). I would not recommed this hotel to anyone nor will i ever stay here again. Mehr

The first floor room had no cell phone service, nor did the door lock work. The fifth floor room had cell service and a wind off the ocean moaning through the door. The plumbing began to thump at 7am and the carpet installers began to hammer at 7:30 am. Room service took 45 minutes even though the hotel was far from full and the chicken dinner tasted […] terrible. Mehr

The hotel accommodations and staff were great. Wonderful breakfast buffet and management ensured our stay was safe and secure. The town, however, not good. Dangerous people!

Amazing view with truck stop amenities. You get what you pay for.

Stayed for our Honeymoon after Hotel we had booked was Horrid. Found Double tree, came back 4 years later for anniversary

Perfect for couples with kids who want some privacy ;). There's a door between the front living-room area and the bed room. Every room also has an ocean-view balcony. Nice! Pool was nice, with conveninet poolside bar and grill.

We spent a Friday night at the Double Tree and it was a very pleasant experience. Love the pool and the location being right on the beach. The building is looking a bit shabby but understand that it will go under renovation soon. There are three things: The entryway into the parking lot is not well marked - the sign is obscured by shrubbery and being […] the first time there it was difficult to find. We loved the suite but who designed the toilet/shower setup with such a large door? I'm only 130 pounds and had trouble entering the room, turning around and shutting the door. Lastly, the coffee was dreadful - Wolfgang Puck's in the room was undrinkable and the coffee in the dining room tasted burnt. Food was great though! If we need to come through that airport again we will be back! Mehr

This is a wonderful area with lots of choices in activities and places to eat. I enjoyed the hotel and wish I could have stayed longer but I hated being on the first floor. I should have asked for an upper room but when I checked in I was too tired. Nice staff that started with a warm cookie. We went dancing in old Melbourne at a place recommended by […] the Hotel called Matt's Casbah, it was a good tip and we had fun. Also woke up in time for sunrise on the beach and got some great photos. I spoke with the Pool guy named Nick. He was from New York and it was fun to talk with him. Yes I enjoyed our stay, short but sweet can't wait to do it again someday. Mehr

The hotel and our room was beautiful! Clean and fresh!! Room service was prompt, yummy and reasonable!! A relaxing place to enjoy the ocean and just read a book on the balcony. Wonderful!

The shower leaked all over the floor, the sink was clogged and emitted a terrible stench. Lights were out throughout the room. I expected a lot more for a Hilton hotel. This is my first "bad" review and I have stayed at numerous hotels.

When went to put sheets on pullout couch, the mattress pad was covered with dead knats. The shower floor was hairy, dirty and covered with mold. Location is right on beach so that part was nice.

In Florida for launch of STS 135 shuttle. Stay at Doubletree in Melbourne was MOST relaxing. Facilities were easy to get to and to access evrything we wanred to see. Highly recommend

Overall the hotel was pretty awesome. We stayed on the second floor and we were a short walking distance from the ocean. The view from our hotel balcony was really nice and hearing the ocean waves from our balcony was soothing. Room service food was alright. We ordered one breakfast and one dinner. Rooms did not have wireless internet but did have a […] wired network connection. No dvd player but did included two 32" or so flat screen tvs. Cable channels were very limited no comedy central, espn2, etc. We had to call the lobby for towels, hand towels, and wash clothes daily because room service never left us more a full set of two of each, sometimes they left none at all. The room was fair priced since prepaid in advance so we got a pretty good deal and like I said it was an oceanfront room so overall I'm happy with my stay. Mehr

The food was good in the hotel and the service was nice/good which is not always the case inside a hotel. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. Very good views awesome place for a family. A+ and I am a bit of a hotel snob.
