Amazing, the room, the veiw the service !!! I stayed in the Suite and did not what to leave. The lady at the front desk was so helpful. I arrived after a very..... long day driving and she had us checked in , parked and in the room in a matter of minutes

I was pleasantly surprised about the space in the room as i could not determine what we were getting based on the description on-line. The room was quite and the bed comfy. I like the fact that there was a microwave, fridge and complimentary tea. The bathroom needed minor TLC; nothing that could not be fixed in 5 mins. Another big plus was the free […] parking that came with the stay. All in all i will stay there again when i return to Calgary. Mehr

It was a high quality room and the staff was friendly and very reasonably priced, especially for Calgary. The hotel was easy to find.

Very good value, especially for the space. I wish the doors were quieter when being shut but overall very pleasant

Hotel room was very big and I wish I would have had more time to hang out in it. Hotel staff were not very friendly at check in and check out. They advised parking was included then on check out advised it was not. Small charge but they did not have to be rude about it.

Our room was clean. The hotel location was perfect!! The front desk staff and concergience staff were helpful, prompt and friendly.

We had an amazing Executive King Suite for a great price! Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay overall. First night I had a room right next to the elevator shaft while it was quiet through the night, it made the wake up call redundant. The Front desk were very apologetic and moved me for the next stay. I needed some things stored between my visits and again they were very accommodating. Would reccomend to others.

Central location in downtown close to the park in downtown..staff great...all suites hotel at a very good price on the weekends

Our room was not ready when we arrive even though it was 4 pm and had to wait 25 min which was annoying but after that every thing was wonderful.

For the price I paid, it got a large and comfortable suit. It had a nice view of downtown. The quality of services was satisfactory, however I had problem with check in, because the room was not ready on time.

We stayed here for a night in a King Suite! I would have given this hotel a 5 except for a couple of things. We couldn't check in till 5pm because our rooms were not ready. The rooms were amazing! Big and clean and spacious except for the bathroom was a little small though. We left our plates outside and they were not cleaned up when we left the room […] the next day. The service at this hotel though besides the check in issue was unreal! I would definitely stay at this hotel again especially for the rate we received! Mehr

On Tuesday you check for Labor Day weekend specials on the internet for hotels in Calgary . Right away you notice the one for the International Hotel because it is one of the better ones. When you check into the hotel on the weekend you realize why you had decided to stay here again. In spite of the busy lobby with busloads of tourists there you were […] able to check in within a short time. Likewise you are in the comfort of your room just as quickly. The hotel is right in the middle of downtown and you feel the energy of the city as soon as you venture out. But when you step into your suite, you leave this behind because the suite is serene, clean, and roomy. You just feel so comfortable there you want to spend more time 'in' even though you're in town for other reasons. So even though you do do these things you were in town for, you felt grateful everytime you needed a break and returned to the hodtel. I wish all hotels in Calgary were like the International. Mehr

Had a nice big room at a very affordable price thanks to hotels.com. Bed was very comfortable.

Hmmmm, the hotel could have mentioned when I asked at check in that I could connect to the internet free with a cable they provide, or pay $10 for wireless. I paid for wireless and even the desk clerk mentioned that it didn't work well when I complained, but still never mentioned I could connect with a cable! I read it in the room while looking for […] the room service menu. I probably wasted 2 hours messing with a slow and cranky wireless connection. Hint, go to the business center and you get instant access, two computers and a printer--also all for no charge. Mehr

International Hotel of Calgary was right downtown, offered covered parking, and was convenient to get anywhere we needed to within walking distance. Many great restaurants and shopping located nearby, and a quick walk to tourist things like the Calgary Tower. The IHC was also very close to the Calgary Zoo, which was also worth a visit if you are staying […] there, and an easy convenient transit ride away. Mehr

This hotel is a fantastic option for anyone wanting to explore the urban side of Calgary. nestled right down town with convenient parking we were placed on the 34th floor which had a breathtaking view of the Center street bridge as well as surrounding sky scrapers."Go for the Balcony its definitely worth the up grade". The staff was very helpful in […] making suggestions for different shops and restaurants in the area. The rooms where clean and modern, featuring everything we needed. The Large pillow top mattress was clean and comfortable. The only small complaint I have is that the air conditioner, which was located on the balcony, had no where for the water condensation to filter too. So It leaked on the balcony which is the last place you would want to slip and fall off. I know its quicker but I'd rather take the elevator. Regardless of the fact, I would love to return to Calgary International and would recommend it to anyone! Mehr

The room was very spacious and well decorated, the balcony was very nice as well. Great Location. However... I set a wake up call for 4 am in order to catch a flight that I never received. Luckily I also set my own alarm, but if I had left it up to the hotel, I would have probably missed my flight.

Calgary is not the most exciting city, but this hotel was really comfy, great for relaxing and charging the batteries. The concierge desk was extremely helpful - from the parking to getting itineraries for us to go to Banff. Location is downtown, so it's great for happy hour crowds. And it's close to 17th street, where the action is. I would definitely […] stay there again. But make sure you book through Expedia or Hotels.com, so that parking is free. Otherwise, it's pretty pricey. Mehr

We were there for 5 days and the location was perfect for being downtown. Parking was great but make sure you get in included in your price. Found having to use your room card to go up and down the elevator was annoying. Staff was very good and friendly. Too bad the price went up so much for a Tuesday night. Good value for your dollar

For a city that just passed 1 million in the census, it has grown up beautifully; artistic, safe,cultured, fun and very clean. The hotel was a great treat - clean, quiet, central. A beautiful stay. Suggestions to hotel: clearly mark the parkade levels for accessing the lobby w/o stairs, provide better maps of close attractions (movie theatre two blocks […] away), include wireless in the rates, fix the key problem - I had to get them recoded every day and it was annoying after a long day to have to return to the lobby each time. But you have a lovely property and I enjoyed the area and the room very much. Mehr

We stayed in the executive king suite and it was great! The room had lot's of space and the location of the hotel is walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean and the staff was very friendly. Would stay there again for sure!!!

Booked the room for one night. Excellent location, very nice room with lots of amenities, and a very comfortable bed.

My husband and I stayed at the International Hotel for 2 nights in June, 2011 and had a wonderful time. The all-suites hotel is perfect as a home-away-from-home. The living area is spacious and the bed comfy. The lobby area and outside signage is dated, but the rooms have been updated and are very nice. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown […] and within walking distance to everything in the Core. Underground parking was included in the room rate, and was appreciated. Very nice Hotel, Tim Horton's just up the street, Chinatown about 1 1/2 blocks away, resturaunts near by and parking is included. Easy to find and leave as its on the edge of downtown. Is connected to the enclosed walkways so if raining/snowing you dont really need to go outside to move from building to building. Also close to LRT.

This hotel is very nice and the services are excellent. We have a good time staying at this hotel.

Convenient location, loved being able to check out late (noon), nice and clean but no air conditioning ( BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!) But free parking was a big bonus. Overall, nice stay.

Spent just one night there but would definitely recommend it. The weekend rate was excellent and included free parking along with valet service. The Starbucks coffee for the in-room maker was great. The bed was very comfortable.

Overall great hotel and good value, except the bedroom window could not open due to security reasons. Would have prefered some more fresh air in the suite. Bathroom needs upgrade, particulary the toilet and tub.

The hotel staff was great and the room was big but it was a little noisy. I could hear the elevator in the morning. The phone always rang busy when you tried to call the front desk and the lights in the bathroom were really dim, I had to do my makeup at the hallway mirror.

Great place to get away for a weekend. Friendly, knowledgable staff. Excellent value for money.

When I checked in that Friday of my last stay the clerk greeted me with a friendly smile and by my name. I parked my car in the parkade and went to me room to clean up. I left soon after to go to a noisy casino. Around 11 that night I returned to my room and when I got in, I realized just how much I valued being able to come back to the secure, comfortable, […] and quiet atmosphere which was my suite at the International. There was no noise from other guests through the hallway or from other rooms. I could collect my thoughts and just relax. I am glad there is this kind of affordable hotel in Calgary. -L.Fox Mehr

The room was large but the bathroom was too small and in need up an update. The parkade was very dusty

We loved our room. Complimentary water given to us everyday we stayed. We had a large dining room table, fridge and microwave - all for a great price.
