My husband and i stayed here 6 years ago. The hotel needs some up grades.We were satisfied with our room.The bed was comfortable everything was clean...NO BUGS...Would we stay here again,YES! I would recommend this hotel to others. Front desk and staff were friendly. Stores are close by if you need anything. Plenty of restaurants in area.

We just stayed for one night but got a great price for one night, Saturday stay. We went to a concert a Mohegan Sun but didn't stay there because they wanted too much money. We drove just a short distance to the Quality Inn and saved a bundle. Room was comfortable, great continental breakfast was included so we woke up and went down for coffee, juice […] and waffles. The pool was dirty with accumulations on the bottom. The room was dusty, there was a spider web on the curtain, the ice bucket was dirty and the bath tub was full of mildew. The only good thing was the beds were clean and we got our money back.

It was OK for one night -- but the vent in the bathroom was caked with dust so we could not use the heat fan due to allergies. Also, the coffee maker did not work properly. Not the greatest value for the price.

At first for the price I thought it was going to be kind of shabby. I was totally surprised with the cleanliness of the hotel and my room. I have already suggested the hotel to others who go gambling. I will definitely go back.

Couple of friends and I stayed at the Quality Inn and went to Mohegan that night. Very convenient hotel location and the cab ride only cost 30-40 dollars each way. Much cheaper than staying at Mohegan

Stayed here while going to mohegan. Hotel is located not to far from casino but there is a drive. great price will stay here again. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly

Hotel dirty with bugs

Spent the weekend at the casino. Saved money staying here and had a great time. Close to everything. Staff was friendly and I will be back with the family again soon.

Very friendly staff...convenient to I-95 and various community attractions. Very affordable and comfortable...a little dated on the room decor, but clean. Very nice indoor heated pool to relax in after a day of touring...

Less than 10 miles to Mohegan Sun Casino. Room was dated but clean.

Close to naval base,the hotel is aged but it is clean. The motel staff were very friendly and helpful.

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. I am a fussy person. I was surprised of the quality of the place for the price. the price was good and the room was very impressive . i would recommend this to all my friends

It is a good motel. You get what you paid for. It is not luxury, but good if you are looking to travel on a budget. Can't complain given the fact that it is a motel and not a hotel.

We stayed at this hotel while heading back from vacation. It is conveniently located off of I-95. Mystic is nearby. The hotel is a bit dated, but the price is quite good.

Arrived at Quality Inn in Groton and notice refrigerator was off and the telephone was not connected. We found a maintenance person to fix this thank goodness as the rest of the night was a disaster. At 4Am awoke to use the bathroom and the toilet moved and the bottom of the tank broke. I shut off water, cut myself and we were moved to a non smoking […] room at the other end of the Inn. The room definitely was not non smoking as 1 person had an asthma attack and the other was coughing all night. The room smelled of smoke and mildew. The hotel was not considerate about the situation and not willing to give a discount or credit. They acted like we broke the tank on purpose. We were 3 adults and an 8 year old (I don;t think so). Very rude receptionist in the morning and general managers return note was not very caring.I know they would not be responsible but having more then a bandaid to put on the cut would have been nice like an antibiotic. I definelty would not recommend this Quality Inn as they need to get their act together and teach some of their staff how to speak to a client. Mehr

Nice clean rooms, pool area was clean and neat. Plenty of towels were available for the kids. Bathrooms were clean and rooms were very well stocked. Beds were comfy and the stay was enjoyable. Nice and quiet at night. A very nice place for families to stay.

This hotel is exactly what I had expected. Decent beds to sleeping, decently clean, and free breakfast. Basically Me and my 2 friends were there to sleep at night. It served its purpose. The staff seemed friendly. The only complaint I could have was that My friend and I left a towel and a pair of shorts on our bed. When we returned at night we noticed […] our other friends bed was made, but not ours. I dont know if this was because of the few items left on the bed or what. They might have a policy that they cant touch anything in your room or on your bed. But it was just two very small things. I thought that was odd, but besides that everything was great. Mehr

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was 15 of us celebrating my son's birthday and the rooms were great. My parents door was the corner room and the door kept getting stuck. It was kinda annoying but everything we found to be clean and comfortable. What I did notice is that my sister's room had microwave and refrigerator. i had to keep going to her room to heat up my daughter's […] milk in the bottle. I do wish that is was closer to other things. That would have to be my only complaint. It's not far to the Aquarium which we went to see. Pool was nice too. Overall, it was a great weekend. Mehr

It was better than expected considering the low rate. The room was clean, the air conditioner unit was new and worked great. Clean bathroom, good hot water and water pressure. Beds were very uncomfortable and pillows flattened to nothing after 5 minutes, but you get what you pay for. When we walked into the lobby, my first impression was that the hotel was outdated and dingy. The room had a musty smell to it. I would not recommend this hotel for cleanliness.

Very nice hotel overall, at a very very good price. The only negative we had was that the air conditioning unit had been shut off in our room. When we checked in late in the night, it took a long time for it to get cool, which was unfortunate, since the temps were in the 90's that day. WE were going to visit Connecticut College and just needed a place to stay one night that was convenient, clean and not too expensive...and this fit the bill! The room was very spacious and had a fridge and microwave (not that we used them!). The hotel also has a self serve breakfast included, which we like, and a pool. It is not fancy, but conveniently […] located, clean, breakfast included, and with hotels.com, not expensive! My only complaint, and not a huge one at that, is that the air conditioning wasn't great. My wife and I were finally getting around to the christmas present we promised each other of a weekend away after 6 months. We had travelled 4 hours in a driving rain after working half days and were pretty fried by the time we got to the hotel. Not much around the immediate area of the hotel,but not far from restaurants and entertainment. The room […] was spacious and very comfortable and clean. The bed was also quite comfortable so we got a great nights sleep. Didn't get to the pool, but the breakfast put out in the morning was terrific. I was pleasantly surprised. It was older but very clean. The breakfast spread had a large variety of choices and was refilled when something got low. The staff was very friendly. I was able to do a load of laundry because they had a soap dispenser in the laundry room and quarters at the front desk and watched tv in the breakfast room (right of laundry […] rm) while waiting for load to be done. The only drawback was that the bed wasn't very confortable. It was OK for a short stay (2 days) but would have been bad for a full week. Mehr

As other reviewers have mentioned, this hotel is not spectacular. However, the price buys you a reasonably comfortable and clean room, helpful staff, and a continental breakfast that offers more options than what this reviewer has come to expect from a typical continental breakfast.

This Quality Inn is central to everything without being in the hustle and bustle of a busy road. Its condition is not top of the line but it was very clean and every employee we encountered was super friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This is a nice basic cheap hotel. If you need a place to stay then then this is it. Not that far away from the casino and other attractions. Low priced rooms and quiet. The breakfast is a basic hotel continental breakfast. Coffee was good. Overall not a bad hotel.
